My manual tire changer, upgrades, and misc tire tools for use at home.

I bought this manual tire changer because I like to DIY repairs whenever possible. I've upgraded it and have the tools for pulling/installing valve stems & cores, tire plugs/patches, bead sealant, ect.

Damn, that first tool box is enough to fix about 90% of the cars out there. Do me and yourself a favor, stop buying tools man. Take it from me, you have enough. Time to spend that money on other things and invest. You got enough tools to fix any and all cars and trucks. Don’t spend your money on anymore tools! I had to stopped myself from keep buying tools and thank goodness I did! Two big tool boxes is all I need and a rolling cart!
I got to Uga dugga
Fuckin genius
When were those socks calibrated last?
3 weeks ago with a certified snap-on sock calibrator v2.0. only cost $30/month for 14 years! what a deal!
I buy my condoms from snap on. I now have 2 kids. How do i go about making a warranty claim 🙃
if you switch to inch pounds do you have to drop your snap-on underoos.
YT may not allow me to post that one. Incoming 6 in/lbs! 😂
yeah man that was so funny😶
No sir, that is sock/lbs
lol!!! got me there but I wasn't sure if anyone wanted to see a bare foot moving it as this is probably already weird for some out there lmao
I learned the hard way to always use wheel chocks when torquing. Busted my parking pall taking off am axle nut
Makes sense XD
🎉🎉
Oh hell nah, he got the snapon socks. This guy's whole soul belongs to the snapon man.
I intentionally put them on for this video 😂 Thanks for watching
The attention to detail 👌🏼😂

Your recording sucks
Im guiltily of that. Abused Pittsburgh ratchets all the time. Then realized one day they arent bad at all actual great ratchets for the price and abuse i put them through
1st I want to say respect for admitting that, not everyone can. I have some Pittsburgh ratchets as well, they are usually in my mobile repair toolbox. Overall I think they are ok. Some of them the switch is backwards from what is normally forward/reverse, other than that I don't mind them. I started off using Craftsman USA ratchets and to be honest I think the Pittsburgh are better than those (just IMO). they were just basic ratchets (no flex head, and they were not that long). These days I don't even want to use them anymore as I have better ratchets now. Thanks for watching!
There is no need for the Icon ratcheting wrench to be reversible. This box wrench is straight and not offset, so just flip it over.
Buy the tools that best fit your budget and needs.
I just love tools. Can you really have to much?
can not have too many. Thanks for watching
No Milwaukee 😔🥺😢😭

Well done!

Looks solid. Great video Scott.
100% agree! I have all those tools and use them on a daily. One of my favorites is the matco precision panel clip pliers #PCP920.
Can you really do those tires (35 series?) on that car in the video? i've used manual tire remover things on many small tires, and they're great for small tires. I've also used all types of powered things to change many low profile tires. I won't even try anything above 16" diameter or below 50 profile with a manual puller!
With the duckbill attachment I added, you can do up to 22" wheels. the tires on the car in the video are 225/45/17. it can do those, yes. I recently did some 245/45/17's with it. When my Trailblazer needs tires I plan on doing them myself, they are 255/55/20. I will take them in just to have balancing done. If they were 35 series I would probably not attempt that. Thanks for watching.
@@TheAlwaysImprovingGarage when they get that large in diameter & width the lo-pro's do go on mostly easy, with a machine. I guess I shoulda got a duckbill.
I would worry more about what was blasted off valve then walnut shells.
Just about everything you have in your 5 drawer cart and the 26" bottom I have in a 4 drawer cart lol
Mann your solder is 🔥
I'll have to get a sticker with a flame to put on that spool 🔥 Thanks for watching!
Ya those are real nice man. Great stuff. Thanks for the video.
any time, Thanks for watching!
My question is, WHY can it?
because Makita power 💪
I'd like to add that proper ventilation is important. Some like to keep a small fan near the soldering area to blow the fumes away!
Thank you good job
Glad you enjoyed it, Thanks for watching!
Nice collection.
Speaking of shrinking engine bays and other tight spaces, you should check out Tone compact ratchets. I have them in 3/8 and 1/2 drive sizes now, and the 1/4 standard size, which could be called compact as well because they're smaller than any of my other 1/4 stuff. The 3/8 drive is in a 1/4 body, and the same way the 1/2 is in a 3/8 body. They make a standard length and a stubby length in the compacts. They're surprisingly strong for a quick-release, but I still pair all my ratchets with a small breaker bar anyway. I've also bought their regular size ratchets, breaker bars, and a few other of their tools like socket/ratchet spinners just because I was so impressed with their quality against the price on Amazon right now. I'd rather have some more Koken, but they're a lot more expensive.
I will check out the Tone ratchets, sounds interesting! Thanks for watching
Snap on is getting crazy with their prices

Great ideas!
Nice!

Shit for $450.00 plus tax almost $500.00 is fucking ridiculous for this shitty electronic device. What else can it do besides check brake calipers and tread depth. Can this gadget see if the tire has cupping, bald spots, uneven tread. Can it reset a tpms sensor, check if valve stem is good or bad. I would not pay a ridiculous amount of money for this crap. This company is out of there damn mind to put a price tag this high. No more than $99.99 would be okay but $500.00 outrages a scan tool cost that much and does a lot more than this shitty tool.
Honestly it's already a pain in the as to explain this shot to customers. For a shop tool it doesn't seem too bad
Nice give away!
I thought it would be good for the 1st giveaway. definitely better than what I started with lol. Thanks for watching
Cool video. Thanks for sharing.
glad you liked it, Thanks for watching
100% agree with Matco locking flex and then moving to Snapon if you need to put more weight on!! Use this all the time in both 3/8 and 1/4 rotation. 120xp ratchets are great as well.
Definitely my go-to, glad they seem to work for you as well. Thanks for watching!
i have the same, its the only way to go. All them mower jacks are junk
Very nice set up. Like the wrench holders.
