That's awesome. Simple and clean. And it was nice to see I'm not the only one having issues with equipment. That's what set your videos apart from the others.

You are a inspiration to me thank you very much for all of your videos. You are easy to understand and very informative. My wife and I have had her part-time business for about 7 years. We did the whole vinyl Cricut thing when it started, as well as small items with a glowforge and I just got a nova 35 and going to quit my FT job in a few months when our 1st baby comes and do lasering for a living. When I started researching thunder, I found you, and I'm so glad I did. Again, great videos, buddy. Glad I got to see you again!

Thanks for sharing. I strongly agree that LB is much better software than xcs. The only good thing about is the camera feature. Suggestion. I wanted to share that my computer is in a different room than my machine. I can still use LB to run my P2. I use a usb over ethernet adapter with a 50ft ethernet cable. Works fine for me.

That tractor window is a good place for a baby picture. It would be pretty simple to make a little stand so people can use it as a picture frame later.

If you run a CAT5 cable directly between your laptop and laser (not via a router), you might need a “crossover” cable or adapter. Been a long while since I’ve tried connecting devices this way, but there might be other settings to make on the laptop and device (laser) so that they can see each other over the tiny, two-device network network you’ve created by running an Ethernet cable directly-for instance that the subnet mask and Ethernet addresses are right, and that the computer is using the Ethernet port and not WiFi. So that’s two thins to try-the network settings, and the cable. You might need either or both.
Generally, connecting both devices to a router is far easier, as the router will provide the settings to the devices and you won’t need a special cable.
There was another comment here about 5 v. 2.5. That is related to WiFi, and not Ethernet.

Yo Matt. Does your router have a dual band connection? As in does it automatically switch between 5 & 2.4 connection? My S1 would not stay connected to my network and I had to go into my network and adjust it to be two different networks with a dedicated 2.4 connection for my S1.

I've watched a few of your videos and I have enjoyed them, but I was struck by what a bad idea it is to paint wood inside of your expensive laser. I fail to see any advantage to doing that, and it opens the possibility to problems occuring.
