Jamaica is a special island no matter in what area with the music, the food, the people divide the dancing and the flag is unique and with achieve so much great things from subject tiny place. Incredible.
I'm so special ❤❤❤❤❤🇯🇲
Blind to the reality of what it takes to get oil out of the ground. Your eyes have to be wide open. International investment’s number # 1 requisite is , stability. Political and social stability that is rock solid and unshakable. Social cohesion . That ensures that, the billions in investment is assured to be returned back .
Minister vaz say them no find no oil in jamaica because he would be the first to know .
Don't get too excited about this. Number 1 they have found oil but not enough to make it economical to get. Maybe one day they will but not yet. Also look at all the African countries with huge natural resources. The leaders of these countries become billionaires while the people starve in poverty. Why would Jamaica be any different. Look at bauxite yes it created jobs but thats it where's the money gone.
Instantly recognizable
This is really interesting Big Bang.
No thanks, 🥱 leave the Hispanic islands alone. However you guys can unite. No offense but we are different. Plus Spanish speakers outnumber english speakers in the Caribbean by a lot, and don't forget you are all surrounded by Spanish speaking countries. English the default language??? 😅no way
EDUCATION, is key; this blog is good; JAMAICANS, need to read, and inquire about important things, instead of listening to DUNCES; everyday.
It's pronounced Tang-gan-yee-ka. It merged with Zanzibar to form the United Republic of Tanzania 🇹🇿
Yes, my flag is unique and represents our special people. We are a special nation, and people from all over imitate us. Wherever our flag is raised, it stands out proudly 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 all the way.
Ain’t no oil!!
Your calculations are not spot on. KW is not KWh.
Not sure about this one.
I love the national anthem but hate the flag. Its a little too bright for me
Does the 2nd tear include criminal courts etc??
My question is it true why the Jamaican commissioner attended the function

TODAY IS AUGUST THE 26 MONDAY -- AND I JUST HEARD THE MINISTEROF ENERGY - SAYING THAT THERE IS NO OIL DISCOVERY IN JAMAICA - OR OFF THE COAST OF JAMAICA !!! I SINCERELY HOPE THAT THOSE OIL EXPLORERS ARE NOT TRICKING JAMAICANS - AND STEALING THE OIL FROM THE PEOPLE OF JAMAICA -- THEY CAN SAY ANYTHING TO THE PEOPLE AND THEN THEY SECRETLY PLUNDER THE OIL IN SOME QUIET SNEAKY OPPERATIONS --SO I THINKJAMAICANS MUST BE VERY OBSERVANT AND VIGILANT -- NEVER TRUST ANY-ONE, - EVEN THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST SMILE CAN BE A COVER FOR A SINISTER UNDER-MINING DECEPTIVE PLOT !!! ONE LOVE !!!
Only other Jamaican feel that way bro. Plus why are Jamaican people always trying to claim most special, best everything? Self praise is no praise. Jamaica: least humble people in the west indies
Let me tell you this now. They did not find any oil in Jamaica at the moment. If and when they find oil in Jamaica, the local black Jamaicans will not benefit from it. All the benefits will all go to non black Jamaicans. The only benefit black Jamaicans will derive from it, are more cook shops, more low level laboring jobs. The white ruling class have already divvy up how the profits will be shared amongst themselves.
<All the benefits will all go to non black Jamaicans.> Namely the people in charge.
Jamaica would be better off with a Russian oil company rather than the British in any sort of exploration partnership.
Jamaica would be better off with a Russian oil company rather than the British in any sort of exploration partnership.
Stupid Jamaicam government has once again sold us out for peanuts. This United oil and gas company must be laughing their heads of at the stupid people in the Jamaican government. This average profit share for countries that form agreement with these oil explorers are around 60% for the govt to 40% the oil exploration company. Some counries even high up to 78% profit to the government. The desperate short sighted idiots clearly have no business sense has given away our oil for a paltry 25-38% profit to the jamaica govt and the rest to the oil company. The average lease agreement is 12%, jamaican govt only agree to 5%, plus the government doesnt have any involvement in the production of the product( no state involvement!!!!!! This is the energy resource of a entire nation. The Jamaica government has once again allowed itself to be exploited, and they people wonder why black economies cant improve. There is nothing to celebrate here. I sincerely hope the data is inaccurate and when they go to drill, its a dryhole.
U r wrong! The name Jamaica was before us. The Indians on the COA honors the original inhabitants. So left it alone. Just change the names of some of the Parishes especially the one with Saints in them.
America is gonna get involved in this for sure
Maybe
Oil gonna fuck up the water
That’s what I’m afraid of.
But gas in jamaica is high
I see Dangote Oil refinery having problems getting feedstock crude from Nigeria's vast supply of Oil and as I look at the subsidies on oil in the Nigerian sector and the fact that they don't have a working refinery for over 30 years, I realize that the problem is the MIND of the European Black Man who puts his pocket over the needs of his nation. That MINDSET is as a result of religion replacing our African Spirituality which our Ancestors used to raise up our Consciousness as a people. The Norwegian Oil Sovereign Fund serves as a MODEL for us to follow instead of falling into the "Oil Curse" trap. We will have to stand up to the CIA and other agents, oh well....Oracle
There's a Muslim country that has gold and green only. (Edit) They recently changed it, but Mauritania had only gold and green from 1959 to 2017
As a guyanese ìm happy for yall
@@ra-neter6662 thank you brother
Jamaican flag is based off the Ashanti flag . You can look it up and see when Jamaica got it so call "Independence" they created a committee to design a new flag and it was based off the Ashanti tribal flag.
Oh, I am yet to hear official news about this oil find. Only that search for oil continues, this must have been last year. No update since. Kmt.
The thing I like is that they had known that there was oil in the region , think about it , why would they have a oil refinery in place for over how many yrs if they didn’t know that oil was there .. Somebody knew it was just a matter of time , just make sure politicians don’t line there greedy pockets and the citizens don’t get no benefit, just saying..
We need some long term sustainable investment back in the country and this is a great opportunity to do that.
Nobody knew anything. They came to prospect and were looking for weeks. No where they found oil had any amount worth investing. They were leaving and a fisherman told a story bout an oil spring out by pedro bank. I wish he had kept his damn mouth shut.
Why the capital will be Jamaica it should be Trinidad and Tobago bc Jamaica would hold the 2 highest crime place in the Caribbean
The best thing they could do is leave that oil alone. That oil is near the pedro banks.thats millions of US dollars worth of conch and lobster.if u have spill thats thousands of fishermen out of work who used to big money. What do u think they are going to do? Coke , guns and crime tun up. More than half the countries in the world import oil with first world economies.oil is not even close to being a problem for jamaica.
Jamaican flag is the Ashante colour of Royal house. Ghana has it's flag but with Ghana the Ashante is nation in Ghana and Jamaica which had Ashanti Royals like Nanny. This why have the green, black and yellow. Learn your history well my brother.
Great video, subscribed!
Tan-ga-nyi-ka that the pronunciation
They wont make anything. Will just be handed over to china or usa
It seems like that , Jamaica was always live croses symbol
Interesting video and i definitely learned a few things. However I have two points to make... Mauritania shared the color exclusivity until 2017 when they added two red stripes to their flag. At that time we really became unique. Also, as far as I know Tanganyikais pronounced tang·guh-nyee-kuh. But this is the usual English pronunciation and am willing to be educated if they say it different in Africa. Thanks again for this video.
