It could happen in the future under the Caribbean Single Market, Economy and Free Movement. If Free Movement for Caricom nationals become a reality, it can happen. Similar to the European Union.

Specifically, a unified currency under revised CARICOM leadership would position the Caribbean as a more attractive and cohesive market for trade and business development. With streamlined financial transactions and reduced barriers, the region would be viewed globally as a single economic bloc, increasing its leverage in negotiations and drawing larger investments. This cohesion would foster regional innovation, create jobs, and elevate the Caribbean's profile as a dynamic hub for commerce and economic growth. A single currency can harmonize the region. Easy travel and exchange of goods. Think this was proposed in the 70’s. Jamaica prime minister Alexander Bustamante veto it because trinidad is where the headquarters would be. Problem would be with bailouts and inflation. I mean the Caribbean seem to produce a
Lot of poor leaders who are fiscally irresponsible.
