A lot of worthless content, good, also the error of putting more gear to incentivise reforge buying sounds more like KoG's Elsword that tryies to sell more +11/+12 upgrades = more bucks for them but less good content. The new arcanas are just easily skippable, melee? gimme a break. Only soundtracks and the composers are the true mpv here. With UE5 i see a lot of users givin up game just for the sheer minimum requirements. Thanks for the video BallPuncher, very sad news indeed.

I admire your dedication and passion BallPuncher, but this game will never be as popular as it need to be for a lot of reasons: 0: (the most bad and ugly at them all) "LATENCY", this game litterally SUFFERS a lot of lag for non US people, and you cant pay an external service just for playing one title ( Exitlag ), as a result no one sane of mind would use any melee reletaed skill or archery, only magic can save iself for range and damage per sec. 1: Game is too convoluted and a mess of scripts without clear explanation, a lot of things arent even necessary. 2: "Dollbags" need to be revamped for only items and more quick to react and gather, gold gatherings need to be as exp scripts, no need to wait 5 minutes each gold drop, and this is a major gamebreaking that will turn away a LOT of people, no one wants to waste time waiting bad programmed entities. 3: "Rewards" are poorly balanced and the only people making real money are the farmers that treat the game as work ( and that is BAD ) and mostly the whales that spend real money ( reforges/unique echants/unique sets/pets/etc ). 4: "Security system used" aka Black Cipher litterally spies on you and it can be very compromising to your sistem, it creates security holes in your machine, on top of that it slows the game considerably and it adds the latency. 5: Game UI itself doesnt tell you what to do, you litterally NEED to find your quests, even dailies for adventure seals arent mentioned, the blaanid support need to be polished more, and mostly game needs an auto complete quest feature / auto re do scenarios like shadow mission ( example: enter run > finish > repeat button > pass check > re enter ) 6: Game restrictions for " daily can do " ( tech runs, glenn runs crom runs and some others ), plus script restricions for ingame contents ( reforges scripts not stacking with echostones for example ). The ONLY and i mean ONLY thing that keep this jumble of mess afloat is the community, nothing more, just like you that make theese awesome videos for a game that isnt even remotely as good and cool that should be. NEXON had 20+ years to make this title worthwile, they did not do anything to really improve it, they only added some op skills, some discutible contents and minor changes ( only thing worth mention is the free style tab but thats just copy pasted from another title aka Elsword ), for a company that makes big bucks i feel disgusted to be franckly honest, i feel pity for those poor souls that are " trapped " because they feel atachment for theyr characters, they log in with only one think in mind " letz go do daylies or unlock something otherwise i do not advance ". For those that think the same way: I feel you in the deepest.

When I first started Mabinogi 15 years ago, I had a character out of no where just help me with skills and leveling. He said its to help him in the future when he need me to do hard run. At the time it was Ciar Int + 4. Now all these new stuff came out I am glad I got someone who can add inisght on how I can catch up on Damages. Hiatus of 8 years, but glad Mabinogi is still good to play.

Another use for Magic power potions, though kind of minor, is increasing your magic attack to passively increase your Mana Shield efficiency. It's not much, but it's something if you have them laying around or about to expire. 👍 Good Mood effect from Japari Bus/Festia/Crom campfires is getting no love here. Perfectly understandable why you'd skip it! lol. It's better used for combat exp rather than as a damage boost, and takes way too long to activate for how little it gives in the grand scheme.

Nice sound effects lol. I use holy flames as well, if you are really dedicated and don't mind a little carpal tunnel, you can get an extra 6 protection in total across your equips. Everything adds up! But warning, the rng is pretty fierce with this roll. You may end up using 200-300 holy flames (on average) just to get that 1 coveted protection point on that single equip. Godspeed!

Bro, hearing that nighttime OST of Dunby and Taill brought some serious nostalgic vibes, reminding me of being back in high school, and I had just gotten my Nintendo DS with a copy of Pokemon Diamond, going to Jubilife City and hearing the night time music. Obviously completely different games, but the vibe and atmosphere in both those scenarios... pure auditory bliss, pure nostalgia all around. Having only been into the 2nd week of Battle Astrology, the game is seriously making some huge improvements. I will say that shifting towards this new more role-based type of combat, or dungeons like Crom Bas where it's more choreographed is the right decision, because the Phantasm boss is an example of why old school mabi's combat is a bit outdated when you don't kill her immediately.

You mentioned a roles system like other mmorpgs. Well, the ROLL system is also from other mmorpgs if it's what I'm thinking about. Effectively, instead of the chest stuff where it's RNG per person per chest, in other mmos, if a rare item drops, everyone can roll on it. Some times it's class restricted to where only that class can roll on it. So if it's a tank item, only tanks can roll. In some other games there's also a greed system where classes get priority, but others can still greed roll on it if the prior classes pass. Example - Tank item - Tank rolls 1, greed player rolls 99. Tank gets it by default because they tank. However, Tank passes - 0, Greed rolls 1, greed gets it because no tanks wanted the item. I don't know if this is the system they're going to use, but if they guarantee drops, then people can RNG roll on it and whoever rolls the highest number wins the drop. That's my thoughts on what the roll system is. And based on the screenshot dice along with the numbers, it looks like that's what they're going for. Which is not bad at all. That means eventually, if you keep running the dungeon, and if drops have a higher chance of dropping, you will eventually be able to get rare items without 0.000000001% fucking you up the ass. Also blast lancer is literally gunlance from Monster hunter.

This video is only a year old, but there's something critical in the video that should probably be addressed. The Druid staff should probably be upgraded BLUE now, not red, as a Blue upgrade would benefit a new player a lot more.
