Hey Dan! Just want to say I appreciate what you do , and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve recently started picking up trash two months ago & I must say the satisfaction of beautifying nature is well worth it! Just want to let you know you aren’t alone, I will continue my job here in California. Thank you for the content , it truly does motivate me seeing others.
From comments by yourself, and others I watch, I am very grateful we don’t have poison ivy where I live. Hope your friend remembered to collect all those cans next to the tree. At least you can get a little bit of money recycling aluminium cans etc but a pain to have to sort from the other rubbish.
I have to be careful because I react pretty badly to it. I had to get some antibiotics and steroids a dozen years back due to a bad Rxn, so now I am just paranoid about it. In MD-USA, the P.I. really explodes in the summer and its virtually everywhere, so it really limits where I can cleanup, plus having to spend 30 min after each outing scrubbing boots, clothes and myself is no fun. If you don't have to deal with it, you are lucky, but there are much worse noxious plants, like Giant Hogweed and Cow Parsnip / Hemlock.
@@DanOTaylorYes we have cow parsley and giant hogweed too. The blisters that some people can get from the plants’ sap is horrendous. I watch garden makeover videos too, some from USA, and several of the content producers have to avoid poison ivy due to them being allergic. What a pain to have to wash everything down too.
Great job Dan. Wish there were more people like you. Just a suggestion ,how bad is the trash in the creeks and rivers.It would be great if you could help clean them.😊

The brambles are probably wild raspberry, which we have all over NY State too.

Interesting that someone piled up all the plastic together, like they meant to clean up, but didn't have a bag.
