Im using the exact same cleaner and was wondering 1st. Does it need a full two weeks? 2nd does it remove green stuff? 3rd is that water or isopropyl alcohol? Thanks in advance

Clever to show the ‘cutting in’ of the contrast around the edges. I do this as well but never really thought about it before. Helps ensure the main areas get a thick-ish coat quickly and looks clean.

If i wanted the body to be a greenblue ish and the carapace to be dark green/camo green would a white or black primer work best (im new to painting)

For bones you shouldn’t use nuln oil but seraphin sepia

It looks like its still on step one of painting, imo. Contrast CAN help force some good constrasting shades, but its super rare for it to look Good as a finished project. Even if you zenethal first

You sprayed the base layer too thick. Ruined the model. Shake the can for at least 3 minutes , spray in short bursts moving side to side. Let initial coverage dry, then repeat. That way the paint will not eat the details

I think I’d recommend using leviathan purple for the carapace rather than shyish purple.
