- This is a 60 Power level game of Flanking Maneuver from the Beyond the Veil Mission Pack between the Black Legion and Genestealer Cults
The Chaos Space Marine Warband "The Elu of the Nine" unknowingly seek refuge in the hideout of the Night Bringers, a sect of the Genstealer Cult "The Bladed Cog". The Night Bringers prepare to send these intruders back to where they came from.

Hey nice work on the series here, I'm really enjoying the battle report.
I always take havoc launcher, combi-bolter and combi-plasma on the Rhinos for my Emperor's Children --why wouldn't you, it make a tank out of a transport -? So what I do is drill a small hole with a pin vise into the top of the Rhino (there are plenty of places on the top of the hull where drilling a hole is completely unnoticeable) and then mount the extra weapon on to a 1" piece of stiff wire (paper clip) which fits right into the hole and secures the weapon to the top of the tank. Does that make sense? It works well, and that way you have choices about which combi-weapon to use, or whether you want to take a Havoc Launcher, etc..
Yeah that’s a great idea! I recently got some combi-bolter bits in and will be giving it a try! Now I wish I didn’t attach the havoc launcher to the hatch top lol... Thanks for the input!
I might have missed this but do you use power level or points for your games?
For crusade I do because it makes the increase supply requisition easier to figure out, also the format seems geared toward power over points. I’ve been enjoying power so much though I’ve been thinking about doing non crusade games with power cause then everyone can take upgrades guilt free and really feel the flavor of their armies. Plus it’s faster for list building

Merciless fighters is also good when fighting marines vs abherrants.
+1 attack if you've got more models than the enemy in a 3" area.
Oh yeah that’s super useful! I’ll add it to my list of stratagems to remember that I still tend to forget
I am so glad I'm not the only one having issues with equipping my rhinos. I kitted one out with two basic combi-bolters and the havoc launcher, and represented the guns using an assault cannon from the old metal ig sentinel
That’s a clever work around! It’s goofy that they don’t provide enough weapons in the kit. But I’ve picked up some storm bolter bits and I’m going to figure out a way to mount one that looks good
How do you have the cp and scoring at the bottom of the screen
It’s just an overlay that I add when I’m editing
