    Small changes are big ones. You're more likely to stay the course making small changes over time verses doing a lot of things at once. Just focus in. It's not about perfection, but the will to keep going.

    Let’s talk Omega 3’s. They are essential for brain health, heart health, and reducing inflammation in the body. They can also support joint health and improve workout recovery. Great sources of omega-3s are: fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, cod liver oil, chia seeds, flaxseeds & walnuts.

    Nutrition Tips - Make small changes over time. Be easy on yourself. - Eat nutrient-dense meals. Try to space out 4-5 hours between eating. - Break a fast with something small like bone broth to see how you feel. Follow with a protein rich meal (ex: boiled eggs, spinach & almonds) - Listen to your body. Sometimes you think you’re hungry but you may be thirsty.

    Have a sweet tooth? Let’s replace with natures candy! (blackberries, strawberries, peaches, pineapple). I love frozen pineapple. - if buying canned juices, make sure it is 100% juice, in its own juice. If you find your food boring, add spices. Variety is the spice of life. Two of my favs are cumin and smoked paprika 😮‍💨 Think of food as medicine. Our bodies are designed to heal themselves. Let’s help it.

    Nutrition Tips: 1. Intermittent Fasting: Trying fasting for 12 hours daily or 1x a week, then build your way up (14 hours, 16) 2. Plan ahead: Meal prep and base your meals around vegetables, especially dark leafy greens 3. Drink plenty of water: Add a little sea salt for minerals. Let water be the first thing you drink in the morning.

    You tear your muscles when you workout. Drink plenty of water. Beet juice can be beneficial for muscle recovery. Beets are rich in nitrates, which help improve blood flow and oxygen delivery to muscles. This can reduce muscle soreness and inflammation after exercise.

    Make sure you are getting plenty of Vitamin D if exposed to less sunlight. Some sources: sun, wild caught salmon, cod liver oil, milk, tuna, eggs, supplements. If using supplements get D3/K2 with magnesium. Avoid fillers and take with a meal with healthy fat or coconut oil.
