3 Core Stability Exercises That Will Supremely Test Your Core!
มุมมอง 492 ปีที่แล้ว
These 3 movements made me rethink how it really felt to really challenge my core strength. Your breathing while doing these movements is very important. Found these at @athletixrehab • #1 Having the resistance band pulling laterally from the waist will challenge you to find that foundation on the unstable environment, that “Sweet Spot.” If needed practice without the Bosu Ball. • #2 Really try ...

My First Day As An Anytime Fitness Personal Trainer
Hey! I'm not too far from you and i'm getting certified as a personal trainer! Could probably use some tips!
😂😂😂😂 do you live here?
Hey Thomas did anytime give you the workouts to use or did you right off the bat get to use your own?
Love your enthusiasm, bro! Thanks for sharing.
Sooo I was physically conditioned an worked out five days a week, twenty years ago. Knowing I personally need a trainer, being that I never had any type of training at all.. Proper form an what not's! I'll 😮Start with the form basics and power lifting, I'm only 38 never juiced or taken testosterone. I'm six feet two inches tall and weight is 270lb.
Thanks for your video! I just accepted the personal training position with Anytime Fitness 🎉
Awesome! Put in that work and don’t forget to grow your own personal business as far as training. I’ll be uploading an update video within the next couple of weeks. I have so much to say about these last five years of being in the industry. I love it, but have learned that you better always look out for you.
Thank you! Can’t wait for the updates!
@@pescatarian_fitnesslova423 Congrats for getting on with Anytime. Ike was killed in a car accident recently. Keep his family and Burn Fit family in your thoughts. Like Ike told you, focus on building you as a brand. Much success to you!
Strategic banana eating lmao
😂
Amazing keep it up! 💯 💪💪💪
Thanks at ton!!!🦾🦾🦾
Great job bro
Appreciate it bro 🦾
Anyone who works at anytime fitness, can you tell me how much you get paid an hour?
I’m no longer there but I believe most of them do a 60/40 split when it comes to personal training, with a trainer gets 40% in the gym gets 60%. If you do any front desk work they’ll give you an hourly rate for that which could be anywhere from minimum wage to $12 an hour, depending on the owners. I got lucky when I first joined them because the previous trainers left abruptly so they had about a dozen of clients who were still on the contract with no trainer which automatically went to me. Sometimes it takes weeks to months to really build your clientele so it varies how your starting income will be. If you take a job like that just get in there and hustle. Work the floor, start conversations, build rapport, get to know the people and show interest in them and their lives. Relate as much as you can and make them laugh. Also, let them see you working out in there. Show off your body or workout skills and then once they start asking you different things, that’s when you know they bit the hook so get them booked for a consult/free training session. After that, all you gotta do is get them to sign.
Hoping you can help me out. I have applied to be mxm manager/trainer at Anytime. I wanted to know is it a long process? I was given a schedule and had the first interview. And I also went to another Anytime to shadow a trainer. Now I am ready to start and I was told to give it a week to get everything set up..Does it sound like maybe something’s wrong or does it generally take a bit to get going?
They are franchise owned locations, so it honestly just depends on who’s running the place. If they own multiple locations, then they may have an HR person who handles the onboarding so it may take about a week to get you in there. It all just depends on their process but you should be good. I would definitely still reach out to them just to ask there’s anything you should be doing to prepare for your first day.
@@gymuy_ike Thank you!💪🥇
What's the 🎶 💪🏿 gud job
@thebestican247 Preciate it. Wels-Nxsty Blood
What the Fish! I been working out for 20yrs now and This the first I see this arm work out man. Ima teach this to my clients man Thanks very much!!👍👍
Thanks bro!
If someone does not do workout for a week then after 1 week mix workout will have to be done or can start with chest exercise.
I’m not sure that I fully understand the question. There’s definitely nothing wrong with taking a week off from working out. I’ll advise my clients to take one week off from lifting weights a week in between the programs are billed for them. So if someone is doing a program with me for 24 weeks then I get them to do a week of recovery and cardio.
Did you get clients from day one?
I got 15 on day one only bc they’re last trainer left and ppl were still on contract. It was really intimidating because I had got the job literally the day I passed my Nazem exam. I had already been a member and want to be desk employees reached out. I have never officially trained someone before so it was pretty intimidating and I had to learn quickly! I had to create their programs and everything.
Woow ! How was the adjustment to this ?
Love the positivity bro, I’m working on my Nasm cert right now and I have an internship at lifetime 😎
How do u work there? I’m 17 and want to be a pt
I’m pretty sure that you can get certified at 17. Just check with whichever provider you go through. And I would definitely go up to the local gym and tell them that you’re working on your PT certificate and they’ll probably start to let you shadow or come in to get a feel of the gym life. They might even go ahead and hire you to work the desk if they need it. I’m no longer working for anytime fitness, I currently work for a Group training gym. But I am going to make a video and update everyone on the last four years. Be on the lookout
How do you work at AF? Do I just ask the manager or what? Or do I need some personal trainer certificate ?
Both really but depends on what position you want to take on? Definitely certified for personal training but I’m surely they’ll let you shadow or get some desk hours if you’re working on your cert
What’s your ig, I seen your yt video and I try to add your ig but it wasn’t popping up
How’s it going man? It’s @gymguy_ike I’ll follow back
I got my interview at Anytime tomorrow and coming to your video sparked so much light into me! Thanks for being you, you cultivated such inspiration into me!
Hey Suriah. I hope your interview went well! Thanks for the comment.
Hey new subscriber here! Congrats on getting the job at anytime fitness. You seem super happy. I am newer to personal training and have my own business going but it gets hard finding clients some months so I may go over to anytime. Thanks for the video!
No problem and awesome! I’m doing group training at a place called BurnBootCamp now while I am growing my online training business.
Awesome channel btw!
@@gymuy_ike yes I know that place. I almost worked there but decided to go a Different direction. Good luck on everything
@@gymuy_ike thanks so much!
How do you get a job ?
Keep it up brotha!! You are doing great. Can't wait to start my channel and put the work in as well
Thanks a ton bro.
Aye you still personal training? Could i ask a couple questions. Imma be starting at anytime fitness
Yes I am! Sure can
Are you still with Anytime Fitness?
Not anymore. I do boot camps for a couple of gyms and my own personal/online training now.
I got my certification like a month ago and im going to start at goodlife soon. I failed the written once and passed my practical the 1st time. Watching this gave me so much more motivation aside from a hiring person laughing and telling me i need more experience (like duh i'm new to everything plus havent been exposed to various equipment before due to accessibility) and im so focused on studying. Your video just got me amped man lol thanks!!
Starting at Gold’s on Tuesday. Super nervous but your video brought me some excitement, so thanks! lol
Congrats! Hope you did well on your first day! Soak up as much knowledge as you can.
Honestly you advertise by knowing things about the business and walking around the gym and working. One day I was cleaning the gym and someone said they were getting a workout just watching me. Is that enough advertisement? Go Ike. Are you still at Anytime?
Sorry about this crazy late response. But you’re definitely right. No, I’m not with any time fitness anymore. I’ve been with three other gyms to the date. One of those gyms I was with for about 3 1/2 years and I still do a little bit of group fitness for them from time to time. I’ll be uploading and update video within the next couple of weeks. A ton more coming.
@@gymuy_ike I forget what I was talking about. It seems like your dedicated to fitness, that’s great. If I become a personal trainer, my clients will hate me. We are working that muscle until the contraction isn’t there.
Can I make a living from being a personal trainer
Absolutely. I am.
this is how new i am my channel is William Brown its the very start of a fitness channel
you still there? hit me up i wanna chop it up with you
Hey Will. I know it’s two years later and I’m not sure why I never received an email for your comment. I’m definitely about to make an update video within the next couple of weeks. It’s been a wild five years in the fitness industry.
I will be apply for anytime fitness .. I got respond back through email, but no calls yet !!
Nice!!! Be sure to reach back out to them! Stop by if necessary, show them your hungry just be prepared for them to ask for a demonstration
I agree! I called to introduce myself and ask some questions BEFORE I put my application in and they let me shadow on of their sessions!
I got the job started training class today .. thanks 🙏🏾 for the support..
Hey man I’m a 19 year old looking to be a personal trainer, any advice?
Kaleb Rinear Go for it. It’s a different feeling once you actually start doing it so definitely try it out and see if you like it as a career option. If not you still have plenty of time to pivot in another direction. It’s fun but definitely challenging bc you have to try to make exercising fun for ppl who don’t like exercising so you definitely get in an uncomfortable zone at times. It’s rewarding as well once your ppl start seeing results. Just do not, I repeat, DO NOT, forget about yourself. My current job calls for me to train multiple group fitness camps 5-6 times per week and it breaks down your body to put energy in others and it can be draining mentally and physically. So don’t forget to take care of yourself mostly and be patient with yourself learning the craft.
Respect bro! Keep up the good work!
Thanks bro!
Good shit man it’s my dream to become a trainer as well and own my own gym
Same here bro! Good luck!
Hi I'm thinking about becoming a trainer for Anytime Fitness that's opening in my area. This is something totally different for me but I'm up for the challenge. I'm a people person and super excited!
SHAWN TURNER that’s awesome! Have you trained before?
@@gymuy_ike no I havent but I'm so excited to learn and I am ready to train myself....
SHAWN TURNER that’s the best way to start. Start training yourself. Keep a close eye on your form, then practice training a friend ask always ask them for feedback
SHAWN TURNER good luck!
Word of advice : take your clients BMI using an In body test. It will show you muscle Mass and percentage, in relation to body fat mass and percentage and it will also tell you skeletal muscle mass as well as metabolic composition rates. Use this and then use a success triangle with tour clients. Rate their knowledge on all category’s of fitness and nutrition. This will help u in the future when u are promoting your PT and trying to sell packages. Good luck!✨
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Like your honesty man. Yeah, be hungry yo. Good paycheck is gonna prevent you from burnout and have more impact.
Rebel with a Dream absolutely!
Wow man, can feel your positive energy come through the camera. Lucky clients yo. I just got Certified with ACE and tomorrow is my first day in the gym as a personal trainer. Excited as FUCK. All the best bro. You Rock!!!
Rebel with a Dream thanks bro! Good luck to your future endeavors
Do you think it's worth going through Body by design? I'm thinking about just going through nasm.org
Jake Stumbaugh Body Design focuses more on the the business side of training and the basics of personal training. They might go over 20% of what’s on the actual NASM exam. A lot of employers know of Body Design, in the Atlanta area anyway, and it makes a nice mark on your resume. But you’ll do fine just going through NASM.
@@gymuy_ike Thanks man I appreciate the response , I will probably go for the Nasm that guarantees a job and gives me the option to retest it but still not sure the price is worth it.
What qualifications did you have to show to get certified? GED? CPR?
Mal & fam You don’t have to show any type of qualifications to purchase the course. But you have to be CPR/AED certified to take the actual exam. You’ll have to present it when you arrive to the testing center.
Underrated a$$ video. Hilarious yet informal
Lawrence Lockhart thanks bro
Try www.acuityscheduling.com/ this is helping me with appointments and booking and private sessions. There is a free version as well! Living in Atlanta too! Keep doing you’re bro, inspiring!
I think it definitely sets you apart and let's clients know you're legit and really know your shit. It also achieves my goal of being more knowledgeable so I can help people more effectively. You did the right thing bro and I applaud you for not taking short cuts. In the end youll be the people's top pick. 💯💯👌🏽
Jade Robinson thanks a ton!!!!!
I see the spark in your eyes I can tell this makes you feel fulfilled. This is what I wanna do. I always wanted to inspire and Influence the transformation of others minds and bodies through my knowledge. I can see myself waking up and being happy to go to "work." But I'm not in shape right now lol so I'm working on me first and then once I got results for myself I'm gonna pursue the fitness training career starting at a company then become my own boss and help others do the same. 💪🏽💯
Jade Robinson that’s the move!!! I’m with a company called Burn Boot Camp now that I will make a video about soon. Your transformation will inspire others along with your PT knowledge. Stay strong, good luck and keep pushing!!!!
Congrats on everything! ... I know that you mentioned having 6 class days but on the BDU website, the options are limited to 2 days , 2 weeks, or online modules without live instructors. I’m curious to know which did you take?
Jasmine B The 2 weeks option. You’ll be in an actual class setting Monday-Saturday, with Saturday being a recap and final test. Then you’ll have a 40 hour internship at their gym. If you’re coming from out of state then you can do it the following week. If you’re from the area then you might do your internship a week or two afterwards
Mann bro I just started my studying last month and it’s a lot but glad to here your success on passing it much love 💪🏽
Goldie Edwards thanks a ton bro. Good luck and keep studying!
Just got my nasm cpt this summer about to be in the same situation soon, super awesome to see such a positive experience! Thank you for showing this to me and anyone else just starting out
Matthew Freeman congrats Matthew! Good luck!!
10/10
Bro you got that type of energy that any client would request/need to aide them in their journey of healing. You real humble, its a good look. But I wanted to ask is there any other requirements to be a PT other than getting your certification ? Cause I don't have my GED and was wondering, let me know
Thanks a ton man. Just a PT certificate and CPR/AED is all you need to become a trainer. I don’t think you need a GED to get certified but still get it eventually though. Keep grinding bro and good luck!
@@gymuy_ike No doubt, how much does it cost to get them ? Thanks for the motivation tho !
Godflow93 there’s a few different options. Check out NASM.com and different cpr/AED courses. The NASM site will give you all the info you need.
