    If someone live in any country 10 + years and dont know their language its just huge sign of disrespect for that country and their people tbh + it shows how layze and entitled they are ...these people cant be surprised if anyone behave cold or unfriendly around them like a lot of these expats and foreigners try to present Czech people in most cases ....of course they are good expats and foreigners too but in Prague most of them are just layze and entitled who would want to be friend with these people ...

    Hi, the problem is that, generally, a native speaker has these patterns internalized before they learn the "mechanics" of it. They are already using declensions, cases, grammatical genders etc. before they know what those things even are. Then they learn the rules in elementary/middle school as an "explanation" in a somewhat simplified way and build on this knowledge in high school. A Native speaker with no background in education, who has been using these patterns intuitively since childhood will not be able to teach you Czech if you are starting from zero. Especially when you don't know any other slavic language. They won't be able to explain these concepts to you in a digestable way. This is why all of these comments are just making these concepts even more confusing.You need to find a teacher/lecturer who knows how to teach Czech to non native speakers. And keep in mind that Czech has many dialects. If you know absolutely no Czech you won't be able to identify a native speakers' dialect. When you know zero Czech, you need a teacher not a native speaker. Edit: 11:08 This is due to word order being less rigid in Czech than in English. You can play with word order to put emphasis on something and can also be used for poetry etc. Some of these are intermediate/advanced concepts. I wasn't being taught perfect tenses my first week of learning English when I couldn't even string together a sentence. Languages are complex, you need to start with the basics and build on that.

Státní dluhy a cizí konkurenti moc kladné nejsou.

    ### Slow Cooker Beef and Carrot Freezer Bag Meal Prep #### Ingredients: - 2 pounds beef flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced - 1 cup beef broth - 1/2 cup soy sauce - 1/4 cup brown sugar - 2 tablespoons sesame oil - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated - 1/4 cup cornstarch - 1/4 cup water - 1 large onion - 5-6 carrots - Cooked rice for serving - Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish #### For the Freezer Bag: 1. **Prep the Ingredients:** - Slice the beef into thin strips. - Chop up the carrots and onion 2. **Assemble in a Ziplock Bag:** - In a large ziplock bag, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well. - Add the sliced beef, onion and carrots to the bag. Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible, and mix everything together so the beef is well-coated in the marinade. - Lay the bag flat and freeze. #### For Cooking: 1. **Thaw:** - The night before cooking, take the ziplock bag out of the freezer and let it thaw in the refrigerator. 2. **Cook:** - Empty the contents of the ziplock bag into the slow cooker. - Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender. 3. **Thicken the Sauce:** - About 30 minutes before serving, mix the cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the slow cooker. 4. **Serve:** - Serve the beef and carrots over cooked rice. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. ### Tips: - For a bit of extra flavor, you can add a teaspoon of sriracha or red pepper flakes to the marinade for some heat. - Other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas can be added along with the broccoli for a more varied dish. - If you prefer a lower-carb option, you can serve this dish over cauliflower rice instead of regular rice. This meal is easy to prep in advance, freezes well, and provides a high-protein, delicious dinner that's ready when you need it! #mealprep #freezerbag #freezerbagcooking #freezerbagprep #mealpreprecipes #delicious #beef #carrots #freezer #freezermeals

    Original video that I got this recipe from is here - th-cam.com/users/shortsRpngLqZ1510?si=vyThLGBiHxlqVZEU Again there is a bit of a learning curve to making them well. Also I would recommend putting them on a baking sheet and cooking for 20 minutes and then flipping them and cooking the other side for 5 to 10 minutes. Then you get a truly perfect cook with 0 clean up hassle from the air fryer. #chickennuggets #mealprep #meal #chicken #delicious #food #betterthanmcdonalds

    To your question. For typical and absolut english names such as Tiffany we have exception. Your can use the name allways in the same way. IT sounds good. No problem at all.

    Slow Cooker Creamy Cauliflower and Bacon Soup Ingredients: • 1 large head of cauliflower, chopped into florets • 6 slices of bacon, chopped • 1 medium onion, diced • 3 cloves of garlic, minced • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth • 1 cup heavy cream • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg • Salt and pepper to taste • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish) Instructions: 1. Cook the Bacon: • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon pieces with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the skillet. 2. Sauté the Vegetables: • In the same skillet, add the diced onion to the bacon fat and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. • Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 3. Transfer to Slow Cooker: • Transfer the sautéed onion and garlic mixture to the slow cooker. • Add the chopped cauliflower florets and chicken or vegetable broth. 4. Cook: • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the cauliflower is tender. 5. Blend the Soup: • Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth directly in the slow cooker. Alternatively, you can transfer the soup in batches to a regular blender to puree, then return it to the slow cooker. 6. Add Cream and Cheese: • Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and nutmeg. Cook on low for another 15-30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. • Season with salt and pepper to taste. 7. Serve: • Ladle the soup into bowls and top each serving with the crispy bacon pieces. • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy your slow-cooked, creamy cauliflower and bacon soup! #mealprep #meal #soup #slowcooker #delicious #meal #keto #ketorecipes #ketodiet

    Hello, I am watching your channel for many years and your videos are very interesting 🙂. You can make so many interesting videos cos you are originally from Canada and czech people love to watch different opinions about living in Czech Republic vs Elsewhere. You can give tips about your favourite places in Prague, you can give tips for people who are thinking about to live in Prague, you can make a list of good or interesting czech food like utopenci, prdelačka, dršťková polévka etc. and maybe film that at home so we can see your reaction 😄... People will comment on these videos so you will get more views :). More ideas: Kofola vs Coca Cola, Czech non-alcoholic drinks vs Canadian non-alcoholic drinks. What is typical for Canadian cousine?... etc. I wish you happy day 🙂!

    In a way in English you also have cases, you just don't think about it that way. For example you'd say: " *He* is walking the dog.", which is the Nominative case. Also you'd say "I see *him* walking the dog", which would be the Accusative case. So in this case you transformed the word he to him.

    • @RMKL1900
      @RMKL1900 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lol 😂 you don't really have a grasp of basic grammar.

    • @vitaluka
      @vitaluka 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Now I don’t have a grasp on czech grammar at all. I literally only know accusative and nominative to a very basic level - like a 2 year old, but the difference between nominative and accusative in czech, is the adjective and noun change to have all new endings based on their gender (which doesn’t exist in English for non-living things) and whether they are living or not for masculine words which I think is extremely different from just changing he to him. Which I believe you do in czech anyways. You don’t say “Vidìm on venčit psa” you’d say “vidím ho venčit psa” so not only are you changing he to him but you change pes to psa. If there was an adjective you’d add “eho” at the end. This is all way more things to keep track of than just changing he to him and even if you said to an English speaker “I see he walking the dog” we will understand what you mean, but if I don’t get the correct melody of the correct sentence - you’ll have no idea what I said. That is why czech is so difficult for non-Slavic people. Especially English speakers when genders alone nevermind casing are difficult to understand.

    • @FF-wl1oo
      @FF-wl1oo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RMKL1900 The example I gave is a remnant of old English which used declension cases. A nuance that got smeared with time. I don't exactly understand what is your problem - please enlighten me, master of basic grammar.

    • @FF-wl1oo
      @FF-wl1oo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@vitaluka Yeah, sure. My point is, when you are to apply declension, the first step is to realize "oh hey, I should apply declension here" and figure out which declension case it is. Which of course is difficult for someone who isn't used to that. So I agree that in Czech it is more difficult, I was just saying that sometimes you could get a certain feel of when to apply the accusative even from knowing English.

    Since this is my first video of yours that YT recommended to me (as I'm finding Americans learning Czech language really interesting phenomenon and it is becoming some sort of a trend recently). Some of you, folks are extremely gifted and sound like natives - chcek Michelle Ness channel. but for her it must have made a difference to be of mixed origin and being able to grow up in a household where Czech had been spoken on a daily. - this is a rare case, for the most part, ALL Americans have real problems with pronunciation. If I can be of any help, it would be my pleasure to clear some issues. I'll give you an idea and I will absolutely try not to sound arrogant in saying this, please use it only as a tool for your self-assessment. Your introduction of this video puzzled me and I had no idea what those words were or what you were saying. I understand, this must feel really discouraging cause out in the population your verbal interaction must cause you significant troubles. Since you live in Czechia and outside of the University, most people have less than an elementary idea about English to even attempt speaking it, this is a pickle.. this will need to get corrected to some manageable degree of profficiency ;) When you said CHCI and it sounded like HITSI (with some weird jewish-sounding trhoat phoneme CH) I realized I would have needed to see the written form of that word to be sure CHCI is what you were talking about. - ''CH'' in Czech and Slovak language sounds like phonetic CH that you might be familiar from Spanish name JOSE (not like when Americans try to pronounce JOSE as in HOSAY, it's soft and throat is not contributing to make the sound, at all - when making the Jewish CH there is something else going on in the throat. In Czech there is less of a constriction by the throat, less of a choking attempt by the back of the throat, and more it is a silent hissing sound which flows naturally from the trachea or esophagus, than physically constricting the epiglotis. - two different locations/ check these here www.researchgate.net/profile/Gustavo-Andrade-Miranda/publication/318814563/figure/fig6/AS:614349840330760@1523483824981/Schematic-representation-of-the-vocal-tract-with-its-differents-parts-Adapted-from.png I would really like to be of help, I can see you're struggling with this and you need this done, to pronounce Czech the way it is needed in order to be properly understood and your communication to become more fruitful and less stressful. Have no worries though, American's are rarely good at this, especially in the beginning. But it absolutely can be done and you must not give up :) If you'd like to ask anything, I'm here to help.

    I was on YT trying to find the location for tuna and came across this video (I found the location btw). I grow Hibiscus flowers (200G per flower) and make Hibiscus Jam (1,800G per jam), which takes 3 flowers for 1 jam. There are 3 wisps in Halo Halo I go to on a daily basis and another wisp by the mine west of the beach. 4 wisp = 12 seeds (12 flowers), 12 flowers = 4 Hibiscus jams (7,200G total). It's very profitable considering that if you sell 3 raw flowers, you'll only get 600G. If you do that regularly, you'll have money in no time, especially if you have other sources of income. Another way is selling flowers and their mutations. Your encyclopedia is your best friend! Hope this helps!!

I do have one friend who is black from the UK who says he faces less racism here and enjoys it more than the UK but I also know another guy who was badly beaten up for being black. You’ll just need to be more careful and more respectful to the people around you and I wouldn’t go to the party scenes at night. You’ll also receive a lot of micro aggressions too. The cheap prices probably were not because of perceiving panelaks as bad and not worth much money. They were sold out as part of the privatization process when the primary goal was to change the owner rather than to make money and any type of apartment could've been cheap. Also, decades under communists left many with no other options but to live the whole life in a panelak and over the years panelaks became kind of a norm since there was nothing better to remember and want back
