There are a few other great ones, we will need to dig out our map 😊

@@whatthesaintsdidnextokay yeah those are some cool names. I'm in Boston and there's a Satan's Kingdom in the Western Part of the state but that's about as interesting as Massachusetts names get. Although ATHOL is kind of funny....it will take a second but then you'll be like"Ooh I see why it's funny...." This is a dumb question but does pretty much everyone know each other? That has to be the case with Tristan da Cunha but 5000 people it's conceivable that not everyone does. I don't think it's just me, I think everyone is a little fascinated by the South Atlantic Islands, just a truly unique section of an ever more homogenous world.

Hi @davechristian7543, thanks for your feedback on the filmmaking 👍 Our approach with this film was to try give viewers a sense of what it's like being inside the town, shooting POV clips where possible by taking the camera into the shops and buildings, up and down the streets etc. We tried to make sure the drone shots, when used, were supporting that 'intimate' feel of the film where possible. An example of this at 13'52", when we positioned the drone right next to the flag above the Castle. Again at 10'37" swimming off the wharf. It's trying to get that balance to help the story along. Personally, we really love flying our drone and the video shots we get from it. Will keep in mind your comment with our next edit and see about including more aerial shots 😊 Thanks again, all the best from St Helena 🌅

Hey Sagar Rao, good question 👍 - we used to have fresh dairy, however, with advances in shipping it eventually became more cost effective to import dairy products, which is what happened. Maintaining livestock and pastureland, for now, remains viable, so continues. The question of restarting dairy farm does come up from time to time, however, logistics and running costs seem to prevent it going much further than discussions. Hi Ben, with a valid British passport you don't need a visa to visit St Helena. Just make sure your passport expiry date is at least 6 months after your planned date of arrival on the island. On arrival at St Helena Airport you will be required to pay a £20 entry fee for which you will be issued a short-term visitor permit of 183 days. You will only be exempt from this entry fee if you have either of the following documents: a. A certificate of St. Helenian status b. A certificate showing you are the dependant of a St. Helenian status holder c. The island was actually uninhabited when discovered in 1502 by the Portuguese, and although various nations would stop by it was not until 1659 that anyone settled - the British. Hi Paul, we've not had dedicated movie theatres for a good many years now, the arrival of VCRs back in the 80s & 90s changed all that, and later the introduction of broadcast TV. The Mule Yard pub will sometimes have a movie night for special occasions, and other organisations will also do something similar every now and again as a charity or novelty event. Hi Paul, we know what you mean. The times we've visited Cape Town we are always struck by how similar we all look as people and other aspects of everyday life. The island has long had close ties with South Africa, a large portion of our goods come from there and it has been the main transfer point for travel in/out from the island. The government ANRD section has a Veterinary department and in their words: "We have cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys as well as dogs, cats, fish, rabbits and guinea pigs and of course the giant tortoises at Plantation to look after."
