Okay for one, I LOVE that idea! Honestly never thought of that. All of mine are regulars who clipped fun moments to remember. So I've never tried clipping before but from what I know they are less than a minute I believe and can be edited but only on IOS. Hey! That sounds crazy and I imagine very frustrating! So your 2 options would be A) List every car individually with a picture, title and price and run them in order or by request (they will default to alphabetical order) or B) Make a single listing titled something like "Single Hotwheel Shown" or "Hotwheel as Shown" and make it a quantity listing by adjusting the amount available and make it a set shipping price for the weight of a single Hot Wheel. Then you would just show individual Hot Wheels one at a time on screen and run them using that one listing. By having everything individually listed you would be able to see every single Hot Wheel by image and title and the buyers would be able to see all the options they have to shop in your store. However that requires more time up front sitting and listing every single item. The other option allows you to skip the listing process and just showcase the items one at a time running individual auctions that way. Each auction would be a different number every time someone wins for example it would start with Hot Wheel #1 and then if that one sells and you run a second auction it'll say hot wheel #2 and so on for each new auction.

@resellmaven Thank you so much for the well explained options. One more question if I may. Say I sell the Hot Wheels singularly, without a list. At the end, Whatnot sends a list of items sold. How do I correlate each item to the buyer? I see some sellers take a pic of each item when it's sold. This seems redundant and very time consuming.

On the backend, your seller dashboard and shipments page, is where you will see all your orders separated by buyer. Let's say for example you sell 20 listings of the quantity listing "hotwheel as shown", it will have that title and number ranging from #1 through #20. So each time you run an auction and it sells, take a post it note, painters tape or similar to write down #1, #2, #3 etc and place on the corresponding item as it sells. Then when you are looking at your dashboard and ready to pack your orders, you will just look at each buyer's individual orders that they purchased and pick the corresponding number auction and Hot Wheel that they won. Example: Buyer A: Hotwheel #4 Hotwheel #9 Hotwheel #14 Select those 3 auctions and package and ship! Hope that makes sense

That's an absolutely valid thing to consider and on platforms where returns and cancel requests are more acceptable I could see the hesitation. However, Whatnot makes it clear to buyers to buy responsibly and that sellers cannot accept returns and are allowed to deny cancelation requests so that does prep the buyer in advance (given they read those prompts). I've only ever had one issue like that and luckily Whatnot reviewed it and immediately removed the remark. If a buyer ever leaves you a review that doesn't represent a whatnot standard appropriately, what not will side with you and remove that review

I definitely wany to share this Whatnot Help page on this topic bc it does an excellent job at summing it up! help.whatnot.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407962164621-Creating-Custom-Shipping-Profiles But basically you would use the max number of items option when you're selling items that you want to really determine how many you can fit into a box maybe they are glass pieces and you know you can only fit one or two glass pieces in any given box to ship safely, so you set the max amount to two. Then if a buyer buys three it'll charge them a new shipping rate for that third item because you have to start a new package. From what it sounds like what you're selling you're not going to need to worry about that too much, and I never use that. For the set a fixed rate option, that is going to be for selling all items of the same size and after someone purchases one you want to tell what not what you want to charge the buyer for each additional item that they order because you know how much exactly it'll come out to based on how many they order due to the similarity. Think sports cards, Disney pins, all 1 size of a specific type of clothing.

Hey, so this is going to be a setting on your print page. You just need to find the option for paper size and change it to 4×6. I will say when I set my printer up 4 years ago I had to go through the annoying process of calling the customer service and actually screen sharing so that they could make it a setting within my printer paper size because I did not have a 4 × 6 option. But I've never had to deal with it since or call again and it just always defaults to that 4× 6 unless I change it. I am also using a Munbyn thermal printer.

Yeah, unfortunately, you cannot clone giveaways. At least not on android, I feel like I may have seen cloned givvys before but it may be on IOS

Yes, the shipping is completely controlled by Whatnot, with the exception of flat rate boxes or max shipping. Once a buyer pays their initial shipping cost, all future purchases will be at a discounted price depending on the weight of the items they are purchasing. Many times people will have free shipping for a few purchases and then will have $1 or 2 and then free shipping for a few more items. This is all automatic by Whatnot and goes vis weight

Thank you so much for your kind words and I love that the videos are so helpful! ☺️ Personally I never use flat rate, ever. But that is mostly bc of the items I sell. Many people utilize flat rate and it works well bc they sell maybe smaller items or bulk items that fit really well in those flat rate sized boxed. Some people do a fill a box style and once the box is stuffed they start a new flat rate and that's fun but again, the items would need to be fairly small. As far as giveaways, you do need to disclose the item in advance/during the giveaway run time. I try to but sometimes I'll pin up a giveaway and forget to pick an item then scramble as it runs to select something lol but as long as your not discriminating against who wins and giving a fair item to each winner it's not a big deal. Just pre select you givvys or enter them individually if you prefer.

Hey, thanks so much and that is a great question bc people can be very flaky with a system like this. I made it very clear early on that if a buyer didn't purchase their bundle from the cubby at the end of the week, they would have about 2 chances and then they just wouldn't be allowed to use the system anymore. Of all the time doing the cubby, I only have 1 person who is banned from holds. Every week I may have 1 or 2 piles that don't get claimed bc they are new buyers that forget they held something, but I just re show those books at the end of Saturdays show and they tend to be purchased by someone else. It works really well for me, but I definitely have to be firm about the rules bc people try to bend them or extend their hold and its a simple no.

@Arranis For sure, that is not lost on me. My commentary is way more a testament to how badly the south handles snow vs the 5 feet the north gets and keeps everything moving. Shutting down or delaying schools, business and even our local government for less than an inch of snow and some ice can affect people as well. Hey, thank you! Yes you definitely can. So once you are approved to be a seller you can go to your profile and there should be a plus sign somewhere on the screen to create a listing or a show. Click create listing and make your listing following the steps. Make sure the option for "only available in a live show" is toggled off and it will upload to a Marketplace. Then, repeat that and you will have your listings!

So there isn't really a bundled shipping option, you can make bundles of items and make a single listing for them but the shipping price will always reflect the weight of the items the buyer is purchasing. You can offer a flat rate or maz shipping option but those are a little more advanced and I recommend starting with standard shipping first when getting started. If you want to learn about flat rate just Google "Whatnot flat rate shipping" and that article will help better explain it. I have zero experience in selling women's clothing and I know it is an extremely competitive category. I would recommend watching a dew shows and see how others are pricing. If you have a lot, then maybe offering bundles or lots of similar items instead of individual items would work well.

Hey great question, so no they must come to 10 seperate shows overall. The shows don't have to be consecutive but the 10 minutes do. This at least means they are a loyal watcher even if they don't buy much and they can reap a reward for their viewership and support. I notice most of those watchers don't tend to even use the coupon.

If you have a listing with a quantity entered as more than one, then when you run the first auction for that item it will automatically number it 1 then the next auction for that same listing would be number 2 and so on. When you're creating listings you would just adjust the quantity available and Whatnot will do the rest.

Hey, great question, yes and no..so I get 3 types of people who typically respond to my service. The first person doesn't care they're trying to get the books out of their house and if someone wants to come pick them up they are more than happy to give them away regardless of what that person is doing with them they don't even ask they just want them gone. The second person will ask what you do with the books and will say oh that's great I love that idea here please come pick them up immediately and then the third person will ask what you do with the books and will never respond to you because they just don't like your answer. It's pretty clear cut and I don't disclose in my listing that I sell but I do not lie if someone asks. I just let them know I'm just trying to save any books that need a new home and get them back into the hands of readers all across the country. Most people don't care and those that do can deal with the headache of donating heavy loads to the thrift
