What do you both do for work on the road love the new van very spacious
Can you plug the bluetti straight to your van so all the 240 vault works in the van
Suspension squeaking is probably rear springs Spray some lanox on the leafs works a treat
Hey Guys just found your channel. Now new Subscriber😁Definitely not cool at all asking you to move after the booking ,I would for sure be very Peeved especially the other Van being smaller.Awwww stella is an absolutely gorgeous looking dog and clever ,I am a dog lover having 2 of my own wouldnt be without them🤗.Wow Sam that brisket looked awesome a must on my list now 👍.Thanks guys for your hard efforts and sharing with us .Ps I am still quitely fumming for your other hard effort of having to move🧐🥴Take care and happy adventures From Me V down south WA 💞
So we're you booked for that time on that site, or extending your booking every few days?
@@robyncrighton1255 booked and paid for the time.
That's not good! I understand if you are warned earlier, when you booked, but that's not very good business, unless they compensate for your troubles
The dirty fkers. You moved for a van no bigger than yours. Not very nice. I’d ask for a few nights free
If you had booked your site and paid I would have been annoyed but possibly would have moved but would have asked for some free nights or credit back on some of your already paid nights.
Yes, we tried to ask. But the time of year. I think they were maxed out until mid January. So not an ideal time of year unfortunately.
My biggest concern is how we are going to survive all these financial and political crises, especially the power struggle in the Australia. The government has really made things difficult for its citizens and we cannot just sit by and suffer the consequences of bad governance🙏…
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $21k passively by just going into crypto investment, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So l really don't blame people who panic.
I am new to the crypto world and don't understand how it really works. A friend told me trading with a professional trader is the best strategy for beginners and busy investors, but for months now I've been making so research and haven't found any. please any recommendations
Noahavamia 👈👈
SHE'S ONLY ON TELEGRAM
I am amazed that you mentioned and recommended Noahavamia. I came across one of her client's testimonial on CNBC news last week.
Im with you on this one mate. We travel full time and very rarely stay at parks anymore because of things like this. They have become very greedy with the number of vans travelling presently to fit another van in at your expense when you planned, booked and in the middle of enjoying your Xmas fun. Makes me fume. Good effort with the brisket on the Weber to get it edible in an hour, mine take 12 plus😂
@@oztravelandfood it’s such a busy time for year for parks, the place was FULL and I’d only imagine overwhelming for the staff. The brisket could have definitely been a little softer. Will try longer next time. Lol
Sook
Just replaced all my leaf bushes, greased everything on install. I also spread the leaves (with no weight in them) and spread grease between them… 2 weeks later they started squeeking again…turn your stereo up…🤣😂
@@Paul4x4B that sucks! Well at least you know they’re in good shape. Stereo up and window up on speed bumps 😂
Good to see you have Stella on a lead too...well done x
Would be really rude of them to tell you to move otherwise....and they cannot tell you anything really if you've booked and paid!!!!
@@debbiewilliams2140 they did ask very nicely. We were pretty annoyed, because we weren’t expecting to move for at least another week. But it is what it is.
If you already booked and paid for site at that time...I'd say sorry....not moving until my time is up....EASY
You know what? I enjoy the way you make mistakes but still post it anyway. That’s a true reflection of your experiences and the kind of honest content I like and prefer to watch. 👏👏
Thanks David! Appreciate that. We’re just working it out as we go. Thanks for watching!
Refund
Sounds like the bushes have gone
I can’t believe that they wanted you to move since you have been there over a week.Disgusting
Suspension squeak might be a bush.
Caravan park manager looking after someone they know. Shit go in my opinion. You took it well.
Rumour has it, when the suspension starts squeeking, the motor is about to blow up 😅. Time to trade it in quickly for a 200 series cruiser! 😊
@@newzealandearthmover4008 hahaha the extra power would be nice. Not sure about taking out a mortgage to get one yet though lol.
id tell them to get fcked id just be flat out like no. and then id offer to pay abit more to not have to move. or i would give them the option either i pay abit extra more to stay at this site or, i move sights and get a couple nights free. alternative choice close boom
Discovery Park Townsville.. asked if we could move our self contained caravan to another site to accommodate a caravan that needed an on suite. We agreed and they credited back the balance of our stay and gave us a complimentary night if we wished to stay..Just saying..Keep up the good work..
That’s very nice of them, and it worked out for everyone. This time of year can be overwhelming for some businesses I suppose
Bushes have just got dust and sand in them. Spray Lanox/Inox (doesn't harm plastic) into the bushes and give it a good run and spray more. If it continues the bushes might be damaged in which case book it in for replacing.
Thanks for the tip! Got some Lanox to try later on. 👍
I feel for you guys. It’s good that you’ve got each other, and Stella. You’re a lovely couple.
I feel for you guys. It’s good that you’ve got each other, and Stella. You’re a lovely couple.
No way, I'd be pissed if I did the nice thing and moved, and then a smaller van was put on the site that you moved from. I'd want at least a free day for the trouble of having to move for nothing.
Imagine if they'd damaged the van or car whilst moving.
With the suspension buy a can of CRC or WD40 and spray all the rubbers on the suspension and then take it for a drive on a bumpy road and spray it again. 👍
Great tip! I’ll have to try that. Thanks
I think cheeky caravan park operator to ask you to move!
Overwhelming time of year for some businesses
I would have asked them for a full refund and leave or atleast a discount on my remaining time. If i didn't get it, i wouldn't move. Throw it all back in their face.
I would have definitely asked for 3 nights free on the new site. You are both amazing people that would always go out of their way for someone else.💃🕺🏼👏👏👍 someone else would have said no way.
Thanks Paul. We were in 2 minds… and then just decided for the sake of the holidays we might as well. Hope you’re well
You are better people than me! There is no way I would have moved once I was set up unless they had warned me when I booked.
It was very annoying, we received a phone call out of the blue. They did ask nicely. But yes moving wasn’t ideal.
I would not have moved
Hi guys, just wanted to jump in firstly to say Merry Christmas to you both and Stella, of course, gorgeous girl. Our Loki would absolutely love her! Secondly, on the travelling/settling stuff, if you can't decide what you want to do when you've finished your lap, then who says you have to stop? Especially if the travel makes you happy. Perhaps you travel slower and take more time to enjoy each place? Maybe your goal could be to pick some places you've really enjoyed and spend a good chunk of time there to see if you do like it enough to stay there. Otherwise, keep on going, I say. Anyway, safe and happy Christmas 🥂🪇🎄🍻
Hey guys:) Thanks for sharing! Absolutely, we have thought of that and most likely what we’ll do until something really makes sense. In the back of our mind it’s this is amazing and all. But we don’t want to miss the chance to purchase a base/property for future. But we’ll definitely go around and look at the places which stood out. Stella and Loki can have a play Maybe we’ll run into each other on the road soon :) Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
We're probably the exact opposite in terms of wanting to travel but in terms of living somewhere we are extremely happy with our choice. We moved states and out of the city to a near city regional area in a very popular tourist spot decades ago and have been there ever since. So much of it will come down to what you can afford and what you expect in terms of employment as well. It's all well and good to live in some postcard place but you can't eat the scenery. Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your situation, places like ours have now become extremely popular and very expensive in terms of housing over the last few years. I haven't watched any other of your videos so I don't know your skillsets but if you are in the trades or things like medical, teaching or whatever then you will have so many more options imo. I do wonder sometimes how it must be for people to sell up, do a lap of Australia or whatever and then have to come back to the reality of working flatout again and housing having gone up by a heap or having to rent in the current market.
Yes, fortunately for us. We run an online business and can work from anymore. Hence the decision to check out the country and see if there is anywhere our hearts decide to call home. Issue is after 16 months. We’re still very undecided. We are hoping to get into a tight knit community out of the big city. But of course it’s gotta be something we’re both set on. “Can’t eat the scenery” 😂 that’s hilarious I’m stealing that one! You’re not wrong though. Plenty of great spots just taking the leap from caravan to a whole new place is the ticker. When you made the move, was it based on a place you liked, or more of an investment decision… because it’s hard to find both I reckon. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
@@360-Explorers I moved to another state with my family when I first started work and got moved to this area. My now wife moved to join me not long after. My family then moved to another state and then to our original state and even though we tried to move to join them it just never happened. No place will ever be completely perfect and trying to find that place will just bring frustration and disappointment imo. These days it seems that social media, society and whatever else tries to push us to find perfection/happiness but my view is that being grateful for what we have is the answer. I always thought that I would love to live in Tassie or that we would end up living near the Ocean but it won't happen. Couldn't care less tbh. Hope you have a safe and happy festive season guys.
Revisit the the places that stand out that you would like to see for longer do the lap but spend the time in those place see how it feels after that. You're still young enough to kick it on the road for now
Yes true. I think going back around with the intention of picking a place might be a little different than the first time round. I’m sure something will feel right. Merry Christmas Chris 🎄❤️
@ merry Christmas to you guys too, enjoy the holidays worry about the second round after that. Besides once you see tazzie you might not want to come back

I’m in Perth first video. Seen the gallows and Freo spung to mind 😂. As long as you have eachother guys, FTW!
You’re not wrong, we keep each other going that’s for sure. Perth is so nice, do you mean this is our first video in Perth? Thank you for commenting. Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
We have travelled for a long time but now having a home base you can go out on trips then have a home to come back to and can even work to build up funds again. This way you have the best of everything.
Absolutely, we have really been thinking about a home base. It’s just so difficult when the whole country is an option. We have narrowed it down to a few locations. But it’s just taking that leap after travelling for a while. Thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas ❤️
We are retired and made the decision to sell everything and just travel in our caravan. We have been caravanning part and full time for over 15 years. We know that once we opted out of the real estate market we would not be able to purchase another house by we are good with that. We are lucky that we can park up with our daughter on her property when we need a break from travelling. For us life is so much easier and way less stressful living in our large home on wheels. Enjoy the holiday season and safe travels.
We're the exact opposite. We're very thankful we have a nice place to call home and that we can make it user friendly as we get older and the inevitable health issues start to rear their ugly heads. It sure isn't getting any cheaper in terms of things like insurance and whatever but then I would hardly call costs of travelling such as fuel, site fees, maintenance or replacement of a tow vehicle or van cheap either.
Hey David, absolutely. We are loving it! But yes sometimes when you want to take a break to just pull up sounds nice. At the moment we use caravan parks as our break. Which is nice but it’s not really “home” so I suppose we just need to find a nice base for us and the caravan. Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤️
To be honest with you I don't think you can make an informed decision about where you want to settle until you've done all states. Then make a short list of 3 or 4 places and go back to those places and really check them out. I mean look at them from the point of view of a resident, not a tourist. Then you can decide from there. Hope that helps. Hope you guys have a safe and happy holiday season.
Thank you! Yes, I think so. We still have a bit to see, hopefully something just feels right and we can take the leap. Only issue is everything is so damn far lol. Merry Christmas ❤️
@@360-Explorers lol. This is true!
Thanks
Thank you Bruce. Much appreciated!! Merry Christmas to you and the family 🎄
We purchased the exact same camper earlier this year. Like you, we found dataplate weights from the factory were BS, tare and ballweight were bollocks numbers. So, we ditched the big stupid box over the drawbar, this saved 75kgs, mostly over the nose (Gas bottles are now in the open (legal), with regulator behind a metal shield, and added a steelframe fabric net rockscreen mounted on the drawbar), could also still mount two jerry cans in holders if required. Also ditched the 4 stupid rocksliders (2 each side, they wouldn't protect the sidesteps anyhow if you wanted to go that knarly offroad). Good for nothing except 'looks' Another 45kgs dead weight removed. Ditched the 4 flimsy stabilisers and replaced them with BOS versions, these each have geared drives and strong enough to lift the wheels off the ground just using a cordless drill 🙂. Also ditched the factory jockey wheel (good quality, but also HEAVY) and replaced that with a lighter BOS jockey wheel. Yep, once again, provides heaps of travel up and down with a cordless drill. In the end, inlcluding tossing other stuff (annex, poles and outdoor flooring) we took 140kgs off the tare, including 70kgs off the ball. Can now carry a useful payload all legally within weight limits. But only just.... Ohh, and the optional internal fridge fell out on the floor driving down the highaway, not even off road (don't ask how the factory 'secured' the fridge). Anyhoo, a lot of the 'cheaper' end vans have similar problems it seems. I'm just thankfull I'm mechancally minded and so didnt bother with useless post sale conversations (arguements) with the manufacturer who by all reports are not helpful or caring (no contact with manufacturer so far at least, only done a few thousand kms, what else can go wrong? 🙂) Good points? Number 1 being amazing stability, including towing abilty off road (but not up the side of a mountain). Cheers and enjoy your travels!
@@MaxDJsWorkshop how good to be mechanically minded and get some stuff sorted out. We were living on the road at the time and endless arguments with the manufacturer just made things worse really. They’re all some pretty great ideas on how to eliminate unnecessary weight and provide such a practical solution. Thanks for sharing I’m sure a lot of people would be keen to learn this. The vans are actually great, it’s just the weight and after service which got to me in the end.
How can people be so stupid to travel or even live whit out insurance?
Some people are forgetful. It wasn’t purposely done. But yes it was a stupid mistake.
Nice videos guys we really like watching them 👍🤙👌
Thank you so much ☺️
Loved Kalbarri. Pink Lake didn't really do it for me. There was an old settlement on the left not to far from the pink lake as you head south that was interesting. We got sick of the wind by Geraldton and headed inland through the gold fields, we were on the tail end of the wild flowers, so maybe alittle ahead in time than you. Gold fields were really interesting, and we were glad that the wind forced us inland.
The wind is getting brutal. We’d love to check out the wild flowers!! Might do that soon. Thanks always for the comments!! Hope you’re doing well
@360-Explorers too late for wild flowers now. Start of October is pretty much the end of them.
@ it will be added to the thousands of things we missed and we’ll catch on the way back around.
Great video guys. Aldi be available everywhere when you hit Perth. Also two Costcos in Perth 😊 safe travels.
That's exciting :) Thank you
We've been on the road for 2 yrs now and agree with a lot of what you say. However we try and support the local IGA (and def the butchers) rather than Woollies or Coles as those stores will eventually close which will affect the residents of those towns. Stay safe.
Yes absolutely. We do really big shops at the small grocery stores. Some items are just sometimes too expensive and we just skip those. But yes all for supporting small businesses but also try and keep a budget
Drumsticks are worth it
