Summer is the best time to see the pink lake is it is the strongest in colour during the warmer months .

Loved Kalbarri. Pink Lake didn't really do it for me. There was an old settlement on the left not to far from the pink lake as you head south that was interesting. We got sick of the wind by Geraldton and headed inland through the gold fields, we were on the tail end of the wild flowers, so maybe alittle ahead in time than you. Gold fields were really interesting, and we were glad that the wind forced us inland.
