Here's a set of our Stage 2 ported LS 243/799 heads that's setup with BTR Dual .650" lift Valve springs upgrade. We also offer other Valve Springs options as well. We sell sell these and the 4.8/5.3 heads as well or you can contact us and send in a set to be stage 2 ported.

@@jplperformance9073 thanks. We have customers out there running our stage 2 243/799 heads making 800whp with 5.3s with less than 16psi of boost on pump gas street tune and a local guy doing 950whp with a 6.0 and 18psi on pump gas.

I never thought that there was much you could do to headers to improve flow until I saw the inside of the factory ones for the first time. They weld them on the inside and they leave a big bead of weld all around the perimeter inside the tube. It probably sticks out about 1/8 of an inch on each side.
How did you get the manifold to seat flush on the plate on the right side since the manifold has the standoffs?
@@Juniorhm70 we make special fixtures and adapters to be able to accurately flow the parts. If you look in the background on some of our flow videos you can see some of them hanging up. We understand we don't show the other things we test for on video because we try nit to make our videos too long and boring lol. The parts we test in our videos are customers parts and they will tell you the performance gains are real and above average

Looking at those numbers on the other side of the manifold, it appears unbalanced; the after numbers appear to be a lot lower. Is that true?
@@jamiebest7245 look at the video. The before and after flow results are on there. In stock form the manifold is horrible. After our porting it's fantastic. People criticize a 10-14cfm flow difference which is absolutely fine. It's when you start getting into 25, 35 and 45cfm differences. Some of the most expensive out the box aftermarket manifolds can have great flow differences which is why we always recommend porting

Edelbrock has the center wall at carb cut down which has been proven to be much better in making horse power also I picked up a china intake for cheap because all the center cylinders were mostly cut off with a huge wall that had to be cut out. You have to pay for good parts. It's worth it
A trainee Machinest I worked with put 351 C valves in his with mild pocket porting. We didn’t have a flow bench, but it ran great in later seat of the pants testing.

Dynos? Dyno vids? Dynos????? Tony....yall go ahead and hire a whole other staff just to test your products for the TH-cam public. Thats what would have to happen for such videos to be made. Dyno sessions take time and money btw.....as if business isn't busy enough already and forum folk are complaining about lead times or customer service. Thats another one that kills me, "customer service." Im sorry to get on this rant....I apologize. Tony, how can I expect to receive your cam? With a cam card of sorts or a cam doctor report??? I'd like to see if your cam will work for a client of mine. Ideally a cam doctor report would be awesome, but if the cam card comes with opening and closing events that information would help me. Thanks.

We have ported literally thousands of parts and many people hand posted dyno videos, Track videos and track/dyno charts including us but you get people that always seems to miss that stuff lol. We post video direct flow result comparisons and speak on dyno results from customers that we've posted but then people say where's the dyno results 🤔. We have customers promise us dyno results and when they get their parts back they either disappear or give us the results then tell us not to post them because they want to keep them a secret lol. @@mikev.7361 you are years late. So many dyno and track results that we've posted and done videos on. Things we say have already been proven and posted. We posted the complete engine dyno results on one of our Stage 3 347s that ran one of our Stage 3 Explorer GT40 manifolds that made 540hp. Another video was a mild 363 that did 400whp through a power robbing T56 trans on a stingy Mustang dyno with full accessories and shorty headers. Prestige Motorsports posted 2 videos with our ported Explorers on their crate motors doing over 415hp. We've posted many dyno results and track times on our Facebook business page. We backed up everything we've said. That's what Bigdogs do💪
