How to Light Your Heater or Furnace Pilot Light
มุมมอง 270K7 ปีที่แล้ว
If your heat is on but the furnace is only blowing cool air there is a good chance you have a pilot light that is out. Watch our video on how to get that pilot light lit again so your heater actually ignites. For more DIY tips go to DIYDads.net
Thank you so much for this tip it worked brilliant on our gorgeous walnut table with a gravy boat mark on it! It took me a while to find the right heat , on my iron that was the wool setting and like magic it came off.
Awesome video! Thank you!
What if the stain was caused by a hot iron in the first place? I had a wrinkled table cloth and thought I could go over it with my iron-I had a towel underneath-but it still put two iron shaped heat marks on the table! I've seen this method, but I'm afraid to use it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
This actually works
That worked!! The stain was 2 years old and I managed to get it out with your advice 😊
Genius. She who must be obeyed is well pleased!
Amazing! Three heat marks on bar table disappeared in seconds.
I had a pizza stain for 2 years, and I thought there was no way I could fix it, so thank you so much for this!!
Yeh this made mine worse!
Seems like you did something wrong then
I had a good size white/cloudy mark on my wood table, about 5" x 2" (not sure how it got there). I tried the iron technique and it didn't emove the stain. I then applied steam to it and it came out completely! I wish I had taken before and after pictures!
Thanks 👌
Brilliant . Had a stain about 8 inches long and it worked it seconds. Great tip mate . Keep them coming ..
i’m dog sitting at someone’s house and I accidentally put a mug on the table 😭 thank youu
Thank you SO much you saved me !!! I accidentally burned my moms old hutch with my steamer (don’t ask!) 😂 I was in panic mode. Who knew I was able to use the steamer to make it new again ! 😁
I’m 74 year old lady this was a great help thanks ❤
Ugh..mine is not quick and easy. Barley moves to me over 20 min to fix one.
I had two big stains from pizza boxes. I was beyond skeptical but very pleased to be wrong. This worked like a charm. Thank you so much
Unfortunately this didn't work for my floors. The suction cup wouldn't stick. On to plan B.
Will the suction cups work on Luxury Vinyl planks??
Is your table real wood or veneer wood? I am trying to remove a stain from veneer
staples better?
Why not start at the top and work down?
Thank you so much. A hot pizza box had left a large triangular shaped white mark on our family coffee table but your tip removed it almost immediately. Brilliant advice!
Excellent hack thank you!
Thank you. You helped me with my daughter's furnace. God bless you.
Fight heat with heat well, never would have thought.
Can't hear a word ur saying
bluddy dog.....
Thanks for the info
Does it have to be brad nails? Can I use narrow staples?
I am MIL of Rica - We had a large white heat mark on our dining table from a hot casserole dish. I viewed the video and was skepical, but used a dry iron first; it did nothing, so I tried the steam iron, and within minutes all the white heat stain had disappeared. YAY, YAY Thanks for sharing this UTube video
Injecting steam is a bad idea, makes the problem worse. Iron is okay, but no steam.
Thanks , this was very helpful!
😂😂😂😂😂😂 "Who are you talking to?"
Can't even hear you!!!
Thank you for this video. I’m just intimidated enough that I’ll still call the repair person for my apartment. But at least now I’m sure the pilot light is my problem. Love hearing your little helper in the background too.
Why Did It Move?? Probably Will Move Again? OR Try some Carpenters Wood Glue On Joint Before You Tap it Back.
Keep the dog on another room idiot
My Honeywell is an older version...looks basically the same as the one here but has an electric pilot that glows hot and ignites the gas. Problem is the electric pilot doesn't glow anymore and I have to manually light the gas every time the furnace goes off. Could anyone let me know what to do? Can I just buy an electric pilot light replacement and install it myself?
My furnace doesn’t have it doesn’t have any buttons it’s an automatic, so what would I do in that case?
And Thankyou you both
Papaaa who are you talking too. Smart youngman making sure papasa not crazy.. He says ok alright. Too cute
Do you happen to know what model gas valve that is?
Where do you buu the blue bait from? In Canada i was told you have to havve a pest c0ntrol license to purchase the blue pioson blocks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Where did you get the wood from? Great video!
I got mine from Menards, the same exact boards except mine were 8' in length. They have many sizes available. Relatively cheap as well.
It made mine worse
Lol fool
Haha same 😂
@@mannypuslicker lol I know I tried
@@akoreyes12Did it make the stain bigger? They say to hone the heat in only the area of the stain. You have to use heat to open up the pores of the wood, to pull the stain out. I'll be trying Vaseline first. If that doesn't work, then mayonnaise. Both can be left on for a few hours or overnight, too. I hope you were able to find a remedy for your specific wooden tabletop. Every wood finish is different. Just have to find out what works for your specific table. All you can do is try, try again. No fool at all for giving this a try. Just a matter of trial and error and finding what works best for your table. You're on the right track, just finding the right concoction(s) for your tables needs. :)
Why doesnt my furnace have a reset button?
My LVP has wood grain texture so suction cup can’t seal properly. 😢
Thank you so much 😊 Learned a new trick
This will only work if you don't have texture on the planks
