    Yeah, this works, thanks guy. I used one nail at a time though, I put a smaller nail on the first slightly lifted side to hold it open (lid) and did the other hole and it opened. Easy process. Look into the holes for the key and you’ll see which way to push the plastic tabs.

    Worked great for me. I am able to replace the bait boxes by myself.

    Stand up the station. Step on it. Pops open easily. That what pest control techs do when they don't have a key with them.

    Thank you for showing this. I just got two of them at a yard sale today. They said use a screw driver but didn't say how

    Where do you buu the blue bait from? In Canada i was told you have to havve a pest c0ntrol license to purchase the blue pioson blocks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

      Just make your own at home. It's easy and safe to make. use Baking soda and Grated Cheese, then just mix it up. The mice can't digest baking soda and die from being starved or not able to function. Try it!

    I live in an apartment and orkin just put one in...can the mice get out on their own because we found one in our kitchen floor dead

    • @diydads2535
      @diydads2535  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes they can get out. These stations aren't meant to keep mice trapped inside. Just to create a space to put the poison for mice to find, ingest, and potentially bring back to any nests they might have.

    Thank you. My box arrived w/o a key, just some thin metal bars. Figured they were meant to use for opening...

    I had a local pest control install the six traps I have and they didn't give me a key. I didn't have nails, so I used two screwdrivers. Thanks Chris!

    • @brianmilette
      @brianmilette ปีที่แล้ว

      Customers don’t get a key. This is the exact reason you wouldn’t get one. You pay for a service and then you try to go and fuck with everything afterwards instead of let the bait work. I’m sure you complain when they come back because it “didn’t work”.

    Lost a whole bag of them and I'm a professional pest control age. So I'll definitely keep some screws and nails on hand in cases

    • @diydads2535
      @diydads2535  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure. A lot of these boxes that are the black plastic work similarly so it's worth a shot if the style looks close. Good luck and thanks for watching!
