No, Miku should have won. Also, the whole Japanese warlords thing and her outsmarting him with the matcha drink demonstrates better connection more of an equal to his study centric nature. She is a better fit. Then he goes to the library to out study her and later her wanting to be a more diligent student fits the tutor plot device better than any other character. Yotsuba to me was nothing more than 'excerpting expectations'. When it was clear Yotsuba was the bride in the movie i just skipped to the ending as I lost all interest in how the rest played out. Interesting concept better romcom anime than most....failed ending.

The ending was not terrible but it was disappointing to people who picked the other quint

It’s funny, when I first started the show, I thought Yotsuba was the most peaceful and lovable. I was definitely leaning towards her in the beginning. But I did feel the author was leaning towards Miku throughout the series since she did like him first. I wonder if the author and the manga team were having any discussions on who ideally would make a perfect bride. Looking at it all, it makes the most sense to pick Yotsuba. She is extremely happy and cares for everyone, while everyone else had some small red flags that may ultimately end in divorce if anything escalated. I was surprised with his choice, but overall I am still happy that everyone had their moment. Reminded me of Kiznaiver ending, and I’m happy with both. Cheers to the future ✨🥂 hope everyone finds their love partner~ ❤︎

very umpopular opinion.. but i was team nino or miku.. they were my favorite.. runner up was itsuki.. but i never thought of yotsuba..

I am only starting the anime now - arriving from Ranger Reject - and I just noticed, that Fuutaro´s hairstyle mimics the bow in Yotsuba´s hair?? They have a "pairlook" from the start, so I guess the endgame was set since day one, straight from the design of those two? Would be funny if he hinted it with something so easy to overlook : D I already had the end spoiled, so maybe that is why it struck me from the first episode... I was overly focused on those two.

This Anime made me realy happy and it gave me happines towards looking up to the future because i was kinda getting depressed. i hated how it ended but it gave something for me to strive for, freinds, and smart, im smart but i want to be smarter even tho im doing calculus as a 8th grader, i jus dont have the freinds. this anime was the key to my empty hole i was in. i was kinda rooting for nino, i liked how straight forward she was.

I think to be genuine, fans were more upset that even though he made his choice and got married the time skip made it seem the sisters grew farther apart in a way. Like they all still hold onto regrets of his decision like the fans felt. To me personally I thought it was odd he made a choice like he did and the reasoning being able to flip between any of the sisters. But I hope they build off this and see all that pain those sisters held onto get released with venting and Futaro needing to come up with a solution to fix it all since his decision split the family.

First I thought he gonna marry 5 of em, then we found out he marrying yotsuba. I was like okay atleast it IS one of em, but htey had to fuck it up by showing that it was ALL A FUCKING DREAAAAAMMMM AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh

I would love to see the honeymoon trip and see them finding someone for themselves to be with and be happy. I want everyone to be happy at the end. Another anime I want to see continue is Gamers! The green haired girl...can't remember her name right now, it's late and I'm exhausted, was the only one without a partner and is actually someone who deserves to find happiness. Oh well, not all things can end perfectly I guess.

The ending was unexpected and a little terrible... I understand Yotsuba was a childhood friend and they love each other at first but at the end i don't think that they truly love each other. In fact uesugi should have picked itsuki nakano because of 3 things 1st she was the only one that visits uesugi home 2nd uesugi's little sister had a bond with Itsuki 3rd even though they fight a lot thats true love right there because i've heard that the real true love is the one we fight and that foto she taked with uesugi and her sister was full proof that they should have been together...

I want to know how did futaro knew Yotsuba would in the school clinic and does he knew what the twins are up to?

Bro i know it's way 2 years old but we got a movie on it and this movie makes no sense in the end it's fotaru's dream and there is a season 3 also which declares this anime never ends.

They might or might not fall in love again with someone else, but i am sure they won't forget their first love - Futaro kun 😊

Honestly, i was also team Miku. I thought she was a perfect match for Futaro and i still think the same. No one cant change my mind. But the author had some other plans 😢

She also was the first one to confess her feelings. I was (am) team Miku, but accepting the ending is accepting that life is not always fair.
