Dont wash your timber with bleach if you plan on staining. Use an oxygen based cleaner and use water and a scrubber. If you're painting, you'll be fine

You might want to invest in an angled grinder and a sander. The angled grinder will completely remove any of the old stain and it will remove all the oxidized and bleached wood. After that, sand it down to remove the scratch marks and gouging from the grinder to get a smooth surface. Clean your deck, get rid of all the dust from the sanding and grinding, there will be a lot of dust, believe me. Then put 2 very thin coats of stain. Do not use too much or it will blister, crack, and peel off after a year or 2. Anyway, I highly suggest you grind and sand your deck next time before staining. Otherwise, you'll end up doing it over again in 2 years or less. Also, never apply stain to damp or wet wood. Good luck!

Bro, instead of buying the expensive tv mounting bracket, for a tv like that, it's so light. All you needed was some hanging chains like you would see on a garage bar light, 2 longer wood screws, and the two bolts for the back of the TV. Just put the 2 wood screws into the wall or whatever you hanging it on, keep them sticking out of the wall a little bit, put one end of the hanging chain on the scew in the wall (or wherever) and put the other end on the bolts. Then put the bolts into the TV, and bang. You got a TV mount for cheap. Probably even free because most people already have this stuff laying around in the garage. Just 2 wood screws, 2 light weight hanging chains, and 2 bolts for the back of the TV is all you need.

Smart to just shave a little plastic off. I had a problem with that bar, which just stopped turning. Through TH-cam, found the problem (needed more lubricant than what the factory put in) and now work perfectly. Sometimes, it is just a simple fix. You got a great deal on a Dimplex, not cheap.

OMG .. was going o post something until sorry but i had to laugh with your unfortunate sprayer accident. ... 1- Stain is SUPPOSED to penetrate. you said at 3:10+ "unfortunately the stain soaked in..." ... yes for best results next time dilute your 1st coat 10-15% to allow for stain to BETTER PENETRATE INTO wood. doesn't matter if your finish isn't ideal but you want the stain to penetrate. with a deck as weathered as yours you needed infinitely more stain to be applied on 1st coat vs the very sporadic amount you used. think of min 50-100% more thn what you used. and make sure you do the in between the boards. it should look 100% completely covered but at the edges of each plank it will look darker n wetter because u applied more stain since u would have brushed there and rolled or better yet used a stain applicator ( sheepskin best) and applied with the grain.... then on 2nd coat you don't need to do in between planks but just the entire surface top again direction going with the wood grain and you have a deck that will look good AND last longer cause u protected the wood not just tried to top it. but i gotta give u credit for your hard work

Always mix can real good roll or spray with the grain one by one fully without skipping lightly one coat usually two coats will do,, boiling water with dish washing soap is your friend let it set in spill paint for 8 min. Then scrub with a sponge or use ragged over scrapper to remove it, nail polish remover may help if not it's lacquer thinner blend with soapy boiling water, ,those work best

Use a solid deck paint.

The boo-boos should go away after sanding. And it's good to know the quality of Olympic is just as bad as bad as valspar. My deck started peeling after 6 months. Great video.
