Smart to just shave a little plastic off. I had a problem with that bar, which just stopped turning. Through TH-cam, found the problem (needed more lubricant than what the factory put in) and now work perfectly. Sometimes, it is just a simple fix. You got a great deal on a Dimplex, not cheap.
