    This was a great video. Thanks for sharing. I do procrastivity all the time. The issue is, i didn't relate it to procrastination and always everything I did instead of doing my main work seemed important in hindsight but I'm still lagging behind in a lot of areas in life. I have started getting better with my time management and priorities though these days but still I miss a lot. Thanks for bringing "procrastivity" and "fear" leading to procrastination in light.

    • @MikeWangCoaching
      @MikeWangCoaching 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks for the thoughtful and encouraging comment. I feel awareness is a great first step! As we cannot change what we cannot see. It's easy to fall into procrastivity, as we live in a productivity-focused world :) I used to love exploring new productivity tools and apps, but started realizing I was spending a lot of time and energy researching those, rather than actually being "productive" haha. One of the key things that has helped me has been having a clear vision for what I want to create in different areas of my life. Especially how I want to feel. It's given me something to focus on, when I notice I'm getting distracted or going down various rabbit holes :)

    Interesting take on this age old adage. I like the concept of active alignment and how its absence implies being stuck. This brings me closure on my past decisions to walk away. Thanks Mike, new subbie here.

    • @MikeWangCoaching
      @MikeWangCoaching หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks Deshaun, for sharing and for being here! Active alignment is indeed powerful. I've come to realize that when I feel stuck, my focus is on "what is" or what has occurred in the past - rather than creating something new. Which translates to an energy of "waiting" or for some external condition to be met.

    I like the idea of developing self trust through adventure. Lack of trust comes up in attachment style- it’s interesting to think about the self trust connection. For example in fearful avoidant attachment, trusting externally is hard because the attachment figures didn’t feel safe in some way. But I imagine this also doesn’t lead to self trust. Thank you for the thought provoking video!

    So you can have a transformational relationship even if there is a transaction? What you said towards the end about teaching students that pay was interesting but a bit confusing

    • @MikeWangCoaching
      @MikeWangCoaching หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ah, I can totally see how that part could be confusing! I do believe transactions can be part of a transformational relationship. It's about the energy or motivation "behind" the transactions. For example, a student could pay me and then feel "entitled" to receive something from me. Or a student could pay me because they appreciate what I'm teaching them and they want to support me. Hope that makes better sense :)

    Not sure what happened in the video between 0:22-0:52, but this is what I said: "So, what exactly is momentum? Simply put, momentum is the result of our sustained focus. When we keep our attention on something, whether it's a goal, a milestone, or a vision, we start to build energy around it. This energy propels us forward, creating a sense of movement and progress. Think of it like a snowball rolling down a hill - it starts off small, but as it rolls, it picks up more snow, getting bigger and faster. That’s exactly how momentum works in our lives." Journaling Prompt: Reflect on a relationship where you resisted deeper commitment or change. What fears held you back, and what was the outcome of this resistance?
