46 Day Bushcraft Log Cabin Build, Surviving On Wild Game Only | ASMR
No nails, screws or power tools of any kind. I disappear into the Canadian wilderness without food, matches or modern hunting gear. The Cabin was built with an axe, handsaw, snare wire and my pocket multitool knife. The only tools I have to feed myself is a recurve bow, gill net and snare wire. I came prepared with my tipi hot tent and a small wood stove, to use as my base camp while I dig into the land and prepare for the coming winter. The entire trip was a total of 46 days. Since I was surviving, I couldn't spend all of my time just building the cabin. Stopping and taking the time to find food to eat and dry wood to stay warm each night was vital. I lost over thirty pounds of my body weight during this trip, eating nothing but what I could find on the land.

Why I Burned Down My Log Cabin | Full Story
มุมมอง 921K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is the story of how I lost my log cabin, covering over two years of my journey to disappear into the wild. I built this cabin alone, deep in the north. Showing up in this place for the first time I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. I staked out a Placer mining gold claim, with the intentions of mining it like the old timers did, by hand and using a make shift wash plant. B...
The Untamed Arctic: A Solitary Battle Through the Northwest Passage

This episode chronicles my solo journey through the remaining miles of the Northwest Passage. For 91 gruelling days, I battled relentless weather, the isolating vastness of the Arctic, and the ever-present challenge of self-reliance. From breathtaking landscapes to bone-chilling storms, this episode captures the untamed beauty and unforgiving power of the Arctic. See me navigate treacherous wat...
Alone in the Arctic: The True Test
มุมมอง 8K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
Sometimes, the greatest challenges aren't the ones you anticipate. This leg of the journey threw us a curveball - a detour, you might say. Adam, my partner, was forced to turn back due to an unfortunate injury. Saying goodbye in Paulatuk was a quiet affair, a shared understanding hanging heavy in the air. This episode delves into the solitary rhythm of navigating the Passage alone. It's a dance...
Facing the Unknown: Into the NorthWest Passage
มุมมอง 6K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
We're officially in the thick of it now, folks. Every day is a grind - endless stretches of open water, muscles screaming in protest, and the constant battle against whatever weather the Arctic throws our way. But let me tell you, the payoff is unreal. Crystal-clear water reflects the never-ending summer sun, chunks of ice pierce the horizon, and the whole place is bathed in this crazy, 24-hour...

That's right, along with my fearless partner, Adam Riley, we're taking on one of the most challenging journeys on Earth: navigating the vast and unforgiving Arctic Ocean. This first episode is just the beginning. We'll take you behind the scenes of the months of preparati...
91 days in the Arctic, trailer.
มุมมอง 3.4K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
In the summer of 2023 my good friend Adam Riley and myself spent 91 days rowing across the arctic and following the famous north west passage route. We were pushed to our limits on a daily basis. So much more to share with you, the full story will be out soon!
Rowing 300 Miles In Homemade Boats
มุมมอง 20Kปีที่แล้ว
The paint is still fresh on our newly built row boats, and it's time to put them on the ocean for Sea Trials. We begin this trip from Cortes Island, which is off the west coast of Canada near Vancouver. Loaded up with enough food and supples for a month at sea we leave the island and head north. Surrounded by snowcapped mountains while gliding along on the crystal clear waters of the pacific. L...
Building a Log Cabin Start to Finish | Timelapse
มุมมอง 685Kปีที่แล้ว
Solo log cabin build without any music or words. From clearing the land and harvesting logs, to milling lumber on an Alaskan chainsaw mill for kitchen countertops. The cabin was water tight in 60 days, and I moved in right away. I used spruce logs that were still green due to the lack of time before winter set in. I lived on site during the entire build process staying in a hot tent.

For views? I’m going to say views.
You coulda made an insurance clame. Smh
Wheres the doggo? New Sub. Great work.
Could you not buy the claim that the cabin was on?
The greed of other people when it comes to land but yet we All going to leave All this land behind when time comes, nobody really own the land in this Earth but our creator who lend it to us nit to own, cause we are not the permanent owner but only lending it temporarily
1 kamyon dolusu canli (olmemis) agaclari sirf kulube yapmak icin kesmen beni cok uzdu. Gorselin 6. dakikasinda izlemeyi biraktim. Hic hos degil.
I don't get why you couldn't stake another claim around the cabin?
Couldnt you get another claim next to the existing one?
What genetics where you growing?
Where's your dog? I guess you had to give him up? Your story is a run of emotions. Inspiring, sad, happy as well as informative. Keep the faith and press on! Well done!
I normally don't leave comments , this one here is for the algorithms, and to tell you that you have a new subscriber.
so that nobody else could use it as shelter if they needed to??
Man, if I was the land owner, would have said it can stay, but I own it. If it's public land, could have been used for a public hunting shelter, lots of options.
What happened to your pretty 🐕.
Oh he's still here with me. For this trip in particular though he stayed with family.
I have just found your videos hang in there keep up the work I pray it just gets easier from here I feel your pain you can do it.❤❤❤❤❤
God love ya ♥️
Right on where is your furry companion at? Like the hell outta what your doing! The strength of your heart and mind is a awesome!!!! ROCK ON!!!
He stayed with family for this trip. And thank you, glad to have your support
I would have winched it over the line on skids and rollers
Me too if I was allowed. That wasn't an option in real life
😢
Jesus wants to save you
You have to much base in the video !
Did you ask about permition for cutting forest? I just don't know how it is.
i noticed the footprint of the new cabin is much smaller then the last ? i see you doing it by hand instead of with the chain saw witch plays a factor, but i was wondering if the trees available in that area were possible shorter . i really admire the way u live off the land I’m 46 years old and i constantly feel sick and tired ni energy feel very ill all the time, if I felt better i’d definitely to live the way you do 👌🏻🙏🏻keep up good work ladd ☘️
I love you adventure.
Hey man genuinely one of the most raw build and survival videos on this platform, cheers for doing it the hard way and putting it together in a good edit. One of the rare instances where I would say I actually want to see you build a more permanent hut and stay even longer.
How many cabins have you made in your life now?
What is your opinion on that canadian camo winter jacket, is it durable and warm? And would you pay 200 bucks for it ?
The last minute ,you looked like and reminded me of the twins from quest for fire
Fungus i bet
Once you're completely set up will you be bringing Ronnie back out? He seemed to bring your spirts up, now doubt he loves you back. New subcriber and loving the content ✅💚 Edit: i see this was just a trip.i should have know from the start because you didnt debark your logs 🤣😂🤣🤤🤤🤤. hopefully you're able to get back to full time homesteading 💚💨✅
I'm actually in the process of moving my house here in New Mexico. The county wants to take my dogs. Nope! I moved everything to a different county. Im almost 60. Live free or die!.
Te lo tomas con mucha calma lo bueno que tienes que todo lo pescas y cazas pero con muchas tecnologías
여우고기 맛이 어때요?
Still cant figure out why you got denied past Ft. Smith? You're Canadian no? I paddled solo from Ft. McMurray to Tuk in 1998. Nobody ever asked me about "entry". Interesting to find out more what the hell happened to you. The old Ft site you visited at Ft. Chip I dont think you realize what that was! Thats the Fort Alexander MacKenzie left from in 1789. Cool to see. I had no idea it was still visable when I was there in 1998.
This trip was during covid and the world had locked down its borders.
What a freaking terrible ending to a great story🤬. Government😡 never ending source of anguish. I can’t image. That was a ton of work with many days of squeaky snow🥶
When using your lumber saw you should cut on the pullback, not when pushing forward, and you'll have a much easier time of it.
Click-baity, coulda just disassembled and moved it.
I thought i seen some more salvageable items… the door and hinges for one! Furniture inside and at least some of the long timbers. Im sure that part issue was that u cut timber off your land, but cudda just stashed it. Also you said the living space had to be mobile/movable? How was that huge log cabin mobile? Lol
Oh fuk! My wallet…
YOUR VIDEOS ARE SO FUN TO WATCH.
lol land ain't free homie, bozo move building an entire cabin on land you didn't own
What kind axe were you using???
Where is your dog ?
Is this cabin to replace the one you had to burn down? I subscribe to your channel. Your badass.
Your young, start again. I know it sucks. You don't want to live in the city, people suck. Out there You are your own boss.
That was legit favourite part was that fox kill did not expect that gonna hang his hide in the cabin or turn it into something, great content
Man why did you burn down that thing you just had to color code everything and take it apart and put it back up again I wish I was with you I used to camp out up in Canada I would have saved you a whole lot of time and money and effort how to color coded the roof blue and did the sides red and white and something else and something else we took that sucker apart piece by piece and put it back up whenever you needed it
Your first cabin was the best. I hope you improve this one. Probably got started late in the season
It's a pity to damage nature.
Sorry for your loss also
With all the homeless people out there why dont guys like you make a business building natural shelters for the homeless and that way your cleaning up your homeland and helping out..
