I loved this game as a kid! I was pretty young playing cod and everyone else felt older than me and was definitely better than me but I didn’t feel that way when playing this game, I was actually good at it so that’s a plus. It was lots of fun and i forgot about it for a long time but a core memory I got randomly reminded me that this game existed and then it took me a little while longer to actually find it and now here I am! 😁

This was the first game I ever bought and realized games could be bad. I’m glad people got enjoyment out of this game but people have also had fun with literal flaming bags of shit. 😂

I just spent over an hour with my friends trying to remember what this game was called. Holy shit. THIS IS IT. I actually really enjoyed this game but I remember the PC servers were dead within a couple of weeks. ;w;

An actual shame, this game was not a great telltale game and wasn’t even that great of a game period but the story is so rich and true to the series. I hope one day we could get a short novella to wrap up the story because I truly think there was something special here, even if the execution was poor

Its crazy how everyone hated on this game but a decade later all im seeing is praise in the comment section. The world moves the same lol. The title was misunderstood because it was doing things other games weren't. People wanted easy and the same things they were used to (cod). The masked their real reasoning for hating the game being it didn't cater to what they already knew by just shitting on all the mechanics because they couldn't adapt. People don't like change, but give it time and then the same things they hated they are now loving. In 2024 just look at the games now and then look at this game and you will see how much ahead of it's time this game was.

If you look at season 1 of GOT and check the position of STARKS. It was very tragic. Ned is Killed, Sasa is like a prisoner in kings landing. Arya got seperated from family. Bran became a Cripple. And Jon is in Nights Watch, Robb stark is Like Asher / Rodrick on a path of vengence. If GOT had stopped with 1 season it would have been tha baddest ending . So I think this game was excellent Begining. If there was a season 2 we would have seen the Rise of The house Forester. ❤

After watching the show several times and reading the books, the characterization of the Thrones characters doesn't really match their show counterparts. Marg is way more subtle and less vindictive.

Playing as Rodrick the Silent was only moderately eclipsed by improv-ing every line for Gared Tuttle with a silly voice, and putting him on an arc to become the Lich King.

Story sucks because they wanted to link it to the show; hell you even have show characters narrate the end, instead of characters made for the game. They should have just set it during events prior to the series

This game was the regular Telltale BS, your choices don't matter, same thing happens no matter what you choose, only thing that changes is what characters performs a role, like who is the traitor or who stays back after you close the gate etc.

The issue with telltale games is that your decisions have the guise of mattering, but they truly don't. So even if you bend over backwards playing the game, it never feels rewarding.
