I just bought Affinity Designer 2 for $35 (Black Friday special). Now see there is the universal license for all 3 apps for all platforms for $82 (Black Friday special). Wish i had seen that before. Should I get that? It looks like a killer deal, and I have Mac and Ipad Pro, would use on both.

Would you reccommend any of the Affinity apps for producing things like reports / invoices? Or better to use something like Word / Pages ? Thanks

Perhaps you have an idea of how to do this: In photoshop there was a great feature where you could select an existing color anywhere within your project by doing an "Opt-Click?" (or something like that) and doing so would set that color for your little fill-bucket tool. It also worked for any brush or pencil tool as well. I cannot find a way to do this in Affinity which surprises me. Would you happen to know?

Looking like Affinity Photo will do for me. Im gonna watch the publisher video next but i think I’ll just end up getting this on its own. I just need something that does what Photoshop does, so I can create TH-cam Thumbnails and posters for my Short films. Thanks for the videos, helping me decide between individual programs or suite

Great concise video thanks. So this is basically like deselect... With photoshop you can press enter and it'll deselect/remove square around a layer. I'm trying to set a keyboard shortcut within Affinity with the enter button to be the "Hand" tool and act like a deselect, functioning as enter does in photoshop. Thing is, the enter shortcut is in use by default for brining up a "Move/Duplicate" window and I can't seem to find it anywhere in the pages of shortcuts.

Anyone else here because they learned that Arcane on Netflix was done with Keyframes and needed it explained?

I was using a PDF creator but found that adding text that exceeded one page did not bleed over into the second third fourth or whatever amount of pages required. I figured I had to use a product such as this. I'm unfamiliar with all the various products, but this seems to be an excellent price and as you mentioned, has all the features one might need. I am assuming that the document can be saved as a PDF. Is this correct?

Awesome, thanks for the introduction! What I'm most worried about right now, thinking about switching from Adb Id, is if Publisher has GREP search/replace and GREP styles within styles (or something equivalent), which, more than extremely helpful, I basically see as essentials now. There's also nested styles, also very helpful, inheritance for paragraph, character and object styles (other essentials basically) and just a lot of flexibility with styling and automating stuff. In any way, first glance, it looks very familiar or better in some ways, so I'll surely be testing the Affinity suit soon, with its long trial period, since I'm VERY interested in switching from Adobe (as I'm sure many others are). Now, with DaVinci Resolve (which I recently started using and learning more and am sooo much happier with) and Affinity apps (very promising looking), we'd be all set!! Oh, and I almost got the 3 apps when it was trending with a promo discount and somehow forgot about it, and I'm regretting not doing it so much these days! (taking into account that I'm Bolivian and price is a big factor here, hah)

I'm finally getting around to weening myself off Adobe after almost 30 years. So here I am! They had a sale on a few weeks back for Designer, Publisher and Photo for £80 so I had to take them up on it! Now to work out how to use them lol.

I bought the ink and slide and used it successfully on my iPad Air 1 - I’m not an illustrator, however I used the devices in Good notes and it was brilliant. Slight lag, but all good at the time.
