Benefits of Doing a Long Design Project | Featuring the Hobbit

I've spent the last year working on a personal project illustrating a scene from each chapter of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit. I've loved working on this project and I think you can learn a lot by doing something similar.

Yes I have done a few similar thing and it was very rewarding! I started a personal website that is in a bit of a book ordered format. Most of it was started last year and is getting quite filled out now at the end of 2023. It has become so big that it will split into two major pieces next year.
I hope to keep it going by hiring people to do different sections of it as I do work for other people. I think it is really cool to keep it going over time. Many of the writings started about four and a half years ago.
