A Drive Through Jerome | 21:9 Aspect Ratio, 2k QHD Resolution
Jerome, AZ is a gorgeous former mining town in Yavapai County near Cottonwood, AZ. It's built on the slope of a mountain which gives it a very unique feel. Extremely steep winding roads and staircase in the sidewalks are the norm here. On this video today, we drive around the entire town and even go onto some smaller backroads. We also walk around a bit to see some places that a car can never get.

Wow what a gorgeous drive. Sedona never fails to deliver. The Red Rock Scenic Byway is another scenic route that radiates out from Sedona, AZ. Wickenburg to Prescott Round Trip | 21:9 Aspect Ratio, 2k QHD Resolution

In this video, we drive from Wickenburg, AZ to Prescott, AZ. The drive takes us through some of the most rugged and steep roads that I have seen in Arizona. Rugged and steep roads means great scenery and this drive is definitely no exception. After arriving in Prescott, I was also surprised to see a lot of people walking around the little downtown area. Smaller US cities often have very few ped...

I think I may have found my new favorite scenic route in Arizona. The drive from Flagstaff, AZ to Sedona, AZ takes us from pine forests like the ones in Colorado through a canyon to red rocks like that of Utah. This route also covers the entirety of the Sedona - Oak Creek Canyon Scenic Road, one of 3 scenic roads that converge in Sedona. It's hard to put into words how nice of a drive this is, ...

On this video, we drive down the White River Scenic Road and also keep going down AZ73 until its end. I'm going to be honest, I just couldn't find where the scenic route ends, but it begins immediately at the start of the video. The entire route is very scenic though regardless of if there is a sign saying it is. It's also remarkable how quickly the weather changed on this drive. It went from s...

Today, we take an absolutely gorgeous round trip drive between Show Low and Payson. I had the good fortune to come here shortly after a snowstorm. You can start seeing snow on the ground at 49:16 and the entire ground is covered and even some still on the trees by 58:17. This drive also starts in a relatively flat area. This immediately changes at 01:05:09 when we start descending in the transi...

One my favorite drives. And just up the road north on 89A towards Flagstaff you have the switchbacks rising out of Sedona which are really cool.
YES! I've driven it before and there isn't a single boring moment. Those switchbacks are some of the most intense I've ever seen.
ALL HAIL THE 21:9 MASTER!!! 😎🍺
I will NOT be allowing wasted wide screen real estate!
Looks like I 10 West Texas.
West Texas does have some pretty nice mountains too. I always love driving through.
everty state in the country has beaultiful scenery. we are so unbelievably lucky
Beautiful and diverse scenery all in one country! No passport needed to see it all.

yup you're traveling westbound I-40 coming up on Flagstaff. Additionally, 6 miles east is the Meteor crater turn off. And off to your right is in the distance is the Twin Arrows Casino. Btw the green sign reads: "Jct 89 23, Jct I-17 27, Flagstaff 28"
Thank you for taking time to share your video, loved it. I was in Arizona in the summer just before the world changed, loved every bit of it. Coming from Western Australia I am used to the heat, that did not worry me, love driving on the open roads. Hope to go back again one day. Be safe.
I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit here. There's so much to see here and just one trip isn't nearly enough. Hope these videos can tide you over until you can see them in person!
A good driver!
I try my best!
I-40 is one of major routes from LA to NYC and vice versa, from I-10 to I-15 to I-40 to I-44 to I-70 to I-76 to I-81 to I-78 to NYC.
I remember sitting on “A” mountain watching that bridge while it was being built wash down the flooded Salt River.
Stop being a man and become a girl to be mentally healthy?
IT LOOKS LIKE AN EMPTY CITY, MAY BE EVERYBODY MOVED TO SOUTH FLORIDA? JA
Most US cities look empty, as if people are camera shy to show up on videos.😂
like most us cities
@@truthadvocacy not here in florida, here in florida everything is alive!! specially south florida, come and see!
@@alcidesgonzalez1589 I'll take your word for it.
One time I had a concert in Albuquerque, and live in chaparral nm (about 20mins from El Paso) but got the date wrong. I thought it was tomorrow but it was that day I checked! And it was already 5:00 pm when the show starts at 7:00pm. I drive a dodge challenger, and so I floored it there, and made it by 6:40pm 🤣 how I didn’t get a ticket, I have no clue
check it out at 2X playback speed
If you ever wonder what it's like to drive at 150 mph.
Looks just like downtown Toronto
That is some high praise for Kansas City there!

Effect of "global warming" aka "climate change"? 🙄
☘HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024!☘
🥂🎉
The longest freight train (1:04 to 1:08)!
Surreal scenery.👍
Youre doing the Lords work by filming 21:9 🙂
I'm glad you like it. If I'm going to pay for an entire wide screen, I'm going to use the entire wide screen.
Higher altitude and latitude may explain the climatological difference between Flagstaff and Phoenix. Thanks for the virtual trip.👍
That's exactly why! It's incredible to see so much change in such a short amount of time.
Sheer drop-offs and no guard-rails! 😨 Magnificient vistas!👍
They weren't in the budget and block the views!
Only in the USA!👍
No such sceneries in Europe.👍
Not even in the Alps 😱
@@adventuresofadashcam3361 Not so huge.😬
I have done this same drive last month and I used my GoPro to record the video
👍👍
👍👍
Ty so much for sharing this video. I've driven this route thousands of times, I was so happy to see it. The still shots when you pulled over, were absolutely incredible !! THUMBS UP 👍
It's truly one of the most spectacular roads I've ever seen. A hidden gem in Arizona.
@@adventuresofadashcam3361 👍
Looks like a similar route that the 1971 movie by Steven Spielberg with actor Dennis Weaver was filmed?
Far-flung cities!
And the lights stay red forever like it's not hot as hell outside
So many travel trailers on the road. The less publicized, the more crowded.😁
People coming back from their Labor Day camping trips 😂. I'm just glad I didn't have to get stuck behind them.
Did you know? Paris is only 100 km2, for a population of 2 million. Tucson is almost 6 times as big, with only 550,000 people.
Lots of parking lots and lots of empty land. Downtown is pretty dense though and getting denser with new high rises! Those are definitely more interesting to look at than parking lots.
AWESOME full screen, thank you!
I love having a wide aspect ratio. Hated it when my wide monitor wouldn't fill up.
@@adventuresofadashcam3361 Phoenix falls short of a few billion dollars each year to balance its budget, yet is spending a lot of money on extension work, to further aggravate its debt. Wise policy, for sure.
That’s something to brag about
By European standards, US houses, generally, look flimsy and rather poorly built, even the more expensive ones. But, many of those standalone houses seen on either side of the road, early in the video, belie that view!
Ty for the work you put into this video, the lightning strikes were awesome ⚡THUMBS UP 👍
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
"Monsoon season" in North America is a misnomer; only the tropics experience true monsoon. Nice "fireworks", though.

I caught your video right after 20 minutes it was uploaded. Phoenix looks real nice.
Dang. You might have been the first viewer! I do love how Phoenix looks. The heat though is something else. 🔥
Horrible place
Love this. It's like we are there driving with you. Great, the way it really is, vid!
I love to hear this. I put a lot of effort in making my videos feel like you're riding in the car. I'm glad it isn't going unnoticed!
"Where Washington St crosses Central Ave is the center of the Phoenix street grid." But nobody there, for a city of 1.6 million.
Downtown Phoenix is mostly a business district so it's quite empty on weekends. Also, Phoenix is HOT in June. It regularly gets above 110ºF (43ºC) so people like to stay indoors in the daytime.
Awesome landscape!
15:08 should be awarded the "ugliest building" title, otherwise the boulevard is not ugly at all.
It certainly doesn't deserve ugliest in America anymore, but I wouldn't call it anything special. Pretty remarkable improvement.
