10:40 all the extra stuff you pass to the docker can actually be declared inside docker-compose file, it's suppose to be self contained and all you should ever need to do is called "docker compose start | stop | restart" FYI: "docker run" and "docker compose start" are two different things and "docker run" doesn't use the docker-compose.yml file you created.

Are you saying that you have a cluster of 1 on your host machine that you use to Portainer SSH into the "actual cluster?"

I got into a problem with following error: "msg="error running loki" err="mkdir /tmp/loki: permission denied" from loki container. when I run the docker compose using my user account (id = 1000:1000) with (root, docker, adm) groups membership, and I solved that using the following Method-1 (preferred): - run the following: { mkdir data && chmod 777 -R data } (as I noticed the loki container creates the data folder under the following user id (1001) or Method-2: add the root user id 0 to the docker-compose.yaml file {user: "0" } to both loki and promtail containers.

I really want one of these but cant t justify the price., especially seeing I’d need the additional plates for the switch ports etc.. Also, the adapter with the full size hdmi is a bit useless if this is gonna be a home lab, all headless servers. What would be better is the small led displays that show cpu ram ip temps for each pi, I have about 7 pi’s I’d put in this rack Love seeing anything pi though, congrats on getting it for free🎉

Why not install docker from the mint repository and go from there?

I'm trying to set up a Cloudflare Tunnel for my root domain without using a subdomain. However, I'm facing issues where the root domain does not connect through the Cloudflare Tunnel as expected. I set up a CNAME record pointing to my tunnel's unique ID, but it still doesn't work properly. There’s no A record for the root domain, and Cloudflare seems to require the CNAME pointing to the tunnel, yet it doesn’t resolve. I’ve cleared caches and checked the tunnel status, but the root domain remains inaccessible. Any guidance on how to configure this correctly would be appreciated.

I used to use Homepage as my dashboard until a few months ago when I changed to Glance. Now I can see all my favourite Subreddits at a glance :) and grroup TH-cam channels together by subject. And because I am a serial customiser, I coded in a REFRESH button so I don't need to stop and start the container :)

not sure uf you'll see this. Just setup cloudflare and using the access applications to authenticate using google, however when I do that it wont connect on the immach app unless I take the extra authentification off. However I want that added security, anyway to have that added security?

you dont need to manually set the ip address in promtail config, just use the container name
