Don't bother filling using the gearbox hole. In front of the battery box is the reverse gear detent plug on top of the gearbox. Drain the oil, then bang 2 litres into the reverse gear detent hole!!

Hi mate does the car smoke badly and smell of oil of turbo has gone ? I’m not losing power yet but it’s smoking and with an oily smell 🙏

My friend had a similar issue with misfires in his Seat 1.8T. A lot of time was spent on diagnostics, and many parts and sensors were replaced. We accidentally fixed the problem. While disconnecting the battery one day, we noticed that the positive cable wasn’t properly secured. We decided to install new terminals, and what we discovered was shocking: the factory cables were in terrible condition. We shortened the cable to the point where it wasn’t corroded, put everything back together, and BAM! No more errors, no more misfires. The cable had been causing insufficient voltage or possibly generating voltage spikes, which even the local experts didn’t detect. The fuel delivery returned to normal, and the spark plugs finally showed proper wear. The Seat regained its power, and the check engine light disappeared. It’s been running for six months now without any recurrence of the problem.

Guys I need help please so my maf sensor wire had come out of the plug I decided to get an extension I’ve whipped it out to pop on the new maf and the wire has touched the rocker cover bolt the car doesn’t want to start now I’ve got no live feed to the maf fuel pump don’t prune I’m having a bad time there’s an F on the screen
