I was like "Heh, funny." when I saw the revolver, then the video cut to Fallout 4 and I just went "OH BOY HERE WE GO" The "guns" in that game are just so cursed in so many countless ways. You have developers like Hideo Kojima who take the developer team to a firing range to get hands-on experience to get the guns as accurate as possible, and then there's Todd at Bethesda who must like, watch a CNN clip and go "Eh, good enough."

yknow i actually dont mind the m1 garand one from cod ww2 that much. it's actually realistic in unloading a loaded m1 garand rifle. its just the reinserting a new clip is the problem (although possible with a terribly maintained weapon).

Contrary to what was said in this video, the sights in Hell Let Loose are actually historically accurate whereas the others are not. Hell Let Loose and COD WW2 feature the correct "lockbar" style sight knobs (which you criticized for being "too small" in HLL) found on Garands as they were during the war (although COD does a shitty job modeling them). The T105 sights found on your rifle and most commonly (and incorrectly) modeled in video games like BF5 did not come about until after the war. The T105 sight is present on postwar production and reproduction rifles like your own, and was even retrofitted to many older Garands. Because of this, the vast majority of surviving Garands which video game models are based off of feature the T105 sight, even though it was never present on a rifles in service during the war. Just a small nitpick in an otherwise good video.

I really love the Basilisk reload animations. Having a dedicated animation for every state the cylinder can be in is perfection.

With regards to 5:57, that's a problem I have with the "TR-76 Geist" (Malyuk) from MW II, although maybe it's because I don't necessarily understand how the gun works. But whenever you see the operator interact with the magazine there doesn't seem to be any form of actual mag release taking place, at least based on where their hands are during those animations. It just looks like the magazine just falls off when it needs to.

Something I learned about the Nagant Revolver in BF1 it’s completely random how the character removes the sent casings rather he just shakes them out, pokes them out from the front, or uses the op-rod

Well...I mean the SPAS-12's reload procedure is rarely depicted properly. CoD:MW2CR, of all things, is the only time I've seen it done correctly.
