The animators absolutely popped off for both MW2019 AND MW2022. Props to the sound guys too, the gun sounds are accurate and the casings even have different sounds when they bounce off certain stuff like metal.
3:41 I love how he reload only 5 bullets, and let one chamber empty. For those who don’t know, this is how you reload the Colt SAA Pistol (or Peacemaker Revolver) back in the day. The reason for this is because this single action pistol is not “drop safe”. The hammer is really sensitive, which means that with enough force on the hammer, this revolver will fire itself without pulling the trigger if you accidentally dropped the gun on the ground, or worse, hit the hammer by yourself while carrying it, which will cause injuries on your foot or organs (if you are unlucky). That’s why for safety, people only reload 5 bullets, and let 1 chamber empty while using this revolver, unless when you’re in the fight (plus, the game developers really put the detail to the finest) 😄
its not so much that the hammer is sensitive, but that on old school style revolvers, the firing pin rests on the primer of the bullet. Newer models have a transfer bar that only comes up when the trigger is pulled
The detail at the last part is not "really" about the rising price of ammo. It's about the caliber (which is proprietary) being as expensive as the gun that comes with it, as well as it being rarer than a .50 BMG (since it's pretty much produced since the 20's)
How ambitious would it be if future CODs has each operators having their own unique reload animation? (has to be the same reload speed as everyone, of course for balancing purposes).
Something I learned about the Nagant Revolver in BF1 it’s completely random how the character removes the sent casings rather he just shakes them out, pokes them out from the front, or uses the op-rod
This is known as a In-line muzzleloader. The weapon breaks open kinda like a shotgun and allows you to replace the primer in the receiver. They also have the option to load capsules of pre measured gunpowder and typically shoot a more modernized bullet.
BF1 and the MW reboot reloads can probably never be beaten. Sledgehammer reloads are the opposite of satisfying, they’re cancerous. Hell Let Loose has fairly decent reloads, but not what I’d call satisfying.
You're telling me that he also worked at DICE, Sledgehammer, Black Matter and goddamn Expansive Worlds? Wow no shit he has thousand of clones waiting to take over every game studio
Eh, the Expedite 12 (Benelli M4) reload animation including the fast hands is kinda lame. How about this Battlemaster Barrel Attachment Concept since it more resembles a Competitive Shotty Normal Reload - Twin Load Fast Hands - Quad Load
@emmanuelrossi828 oh yeah that. Yeah smack is cool. I just really hate overused loading technique. The reason why prefer double/quad load is because is way more badass than loading only one shell
The COD ones look terrible with the amount of camera shake they have. Makes it look like the guns are made of jello. Either that or the player has a really strange case of the jitters that only flare up when he reloads guns.

Nope, MWII was for the most part a downgrade in sounds...and Season 2 animations were questionable
@@rosaria8384 some guns sound disgusting but I'd argue that most of the other ones sound better than MW because they're less exaggerated imo.

I know MWs animations are creme of the crop, but look at BF1s! Just the right balance between realism and flair.

I really love the Basilisk reload animations. Having a dedicated animation for every state the cylinder can be in is perfection.
I love how you add 5:07 on the description "race car shit"

I appreciate the sound effect of the empty magazine dropping to the ground
I wish you showed the Bf1 Mosin-Nagant reload where the player catches the last bullet as he ejects it
I must have missed this somehow, maybe next time

I’m sad the slight of hand reload for the expedite 12 wasn’t there. I don’t care for the original animation much but that one is just so satisfying.
3:57 What is this gun and why is this gun?

I've always like the shotgun and clip gun reloads than magazine reloads.
man, MW2 really did their homework, the holy grail in weapon animations

Didn't expect seeing Cod WW2 here, really nice.
