Hope much does this job typically cost if hiring someone?
Will this stop it from agitating as well??
It was helpful to see the removal of the AUGERS (those 'yellow things in front')along with the impeller just to see how that's done. My lack of auger maintenance after too many years has caused my augers to rust onto the shaft and now I cannot grease them. If I want to fix this that assembly has to come out.
What if there was nothing in there ?… had this problem before where the water wouldn’t drain & it was indeed a sock . This time there was nothing .
Thanks for the video! You made it look easy. I have been looking to do the same to facilitate a taller boat in the garage!
@@stevehall7542 as long as you measure everything out beforehand it wasn’t that hard!
I have actually returned mine to Milwaukee about 5 times with a broken brake and each time they give me a whole new one. The 5 year warranty does seem to cover the brake.
This is great. Where did you get the brake pad?
@@MrConacher the local Milwaukee warranty service depot
Great video but what is the name of the gear that left and right auugers attached to.
@@CharlesHagen-e8j I’m not sure their names I had zero experience with anything related to this machine until it failed
want to do my garage door? :D
@@wyatt5391 maybe depends on your location
thanks for the video, this will be my project tomorrow, i ran over a c clamp
@@chuckg1546 haha brutal!
your a dum ass you could have had that done with out taking the cabnet off you could have got to the pump by laying it back
Wow just fixed my washer that’s been broke for months! Thank you
Flat bar is faster bro 😂 that’s overkill like a mf, but that blade is dope thanks for putting me on
there's wider ones too that are super good for scraping stuff even vynil tile
Our washer has been broken for a few days and we were beginning to lose hope. We were worried it was the motor and that we would have to figure out how to replace it. Morale was low. In a last ditch attempt, we took to youtube. Somehow this video popped up when we searched for "Kenmore 80 washer". Leaving our doubts behind, husband removed the lid to the plastic thingy and lo and behold an accursed cute tiny baby sock. The other commenters reporting toddler socks really tipped us off. Thanks guys! Washers really do eat socks.
Would you be able to make a custom tow hitch? And the front frame again? How much would all that cost?
Did this come as a complete kit. The base plate & mounting brackets? I haven't been able to find the setup for horizontal etrac
I just used this video as a reference and it worked for me as well. My little man’s sock was stuck in the motor part.
How do you undo the clips at the white peice
I do wish you showed the reverse assembly procedure for everything, but especially those clips on the pump! Is there maybe another video of that part? (Crossed fingers)… I’m not parried I’m going to bend it trying to clip it back on, and I’d love to see how you did it! Thanks!!🙏
Hi, I need to get to the top panel, the only front part you don't touch hah do you have any suggestions please? I've not had any luck
You mean the painted cowl below the windscreen?
@@FixerMerlin Yes
That is part of the welded chassis of the van and you won’t be removing it unless you use an angle grinder. Why are you removing it?
@@FixerMerlin heh hrm ok. I just brought it, and it has a dent, that I'll like to remove. Thanks for the reply
I think you can access the back side of it from inside under the dash if that helps
Hi Fixer Merlin, how did you go about removing the sound deadening material around the exhaust insertion through the floor? Cheers, thanks, love the channel
Thanks! I can’t remember, most likely just a flat scraper and it flaked right off
How does this even happen? The holes in the main washing bin are so small. How does something like that get past the main bin?
Haha not sure? Maybe it somehow goes over the top?
Hey Fixer Merlin. I have 7’ door and would like to add a panel. Where did you get the hardware for your project?
Just went to a local door company, just search the door brand name in your area
Where is the link to get the break? I am looking for it, but nothing reliable.
Google Milwaukee factory service or Milwaukee warrantee in your area
Same here - the old sock in the pump trick! Thanks so much for this! You are saving people hundreds if not thousands of $$. Is there any way to prevent another sock or small fabric item from getting inside the pump again?
Broke single mom here - I needed a new lid switch, changed that and I couldn’t believe it wasn’t still working since the switch was definitely broke. Turns out I also had a sock stuck in the same part. Thank you SOOOOO much for this valuable video! My son and I can finally have some clean clothes lol😅
Good gob Mr
Exact problem I'm having, and it's pissing me off
@@SC1127-p4k just talked to my guy at the local place and he said they’re coming out with a new version soon that isn’t a total piece of shit
That’s so awesome, I own a window tint buisness and some clients trucks don’t fit, will be doing this soon.
Thanks man
I am very grateful for this video because I was able to unclog the pump. The only thing I couldn't do based on this video is put the machine back together.
Same. I'm in that boat right now.
ALL I NEEDED was how to safely get the top part off & was afraid to break it... glad it just pops but needed quite a bit of effort doing doing! Always helps to know in advance how best do anything as I've broken too any things in my not so short of a life! Haha!
With this broken washer, when the timer got to the drain cycle, was there just silence and the timer wouldn’t move? Or did you hear any noise as the drain pump tried to do its job? I have silence and I am about to do this procedure, but I wonder if it is the switch instead.
Is it too hard to turn the phone sideways? I hate this.
How long did this take?
An evening
M18 for the win, I love it for light driveway cleaning and for the car and motorcycle, very strong for its size
Same happened to mine after a few times of use , seems like a common problem ,
Anyone know if these would work at all on an H200?
BRAW PAS, USE FOR SMALL TITIES
Great video... I'm looking at doing something similar. Did you extend the top rails out 18" as well to accommodate the extra door height? Thanks. :)
I did everything in video and it still doesn’t drain i me it spins just doesn’t drain
Sorry I’m really not sure
If there is nothing stuck in the pump or hoses (that I can see ) what would be the next thing to look at?
Does it spin freely? Also check power to the unit?
@@FixerMerlinmine spins it just doesn’t drain
Thanks, I was really curious about the difference in runtime!

I wish you lived where I lived. I’d pay you to do mine. My suv is lifted so I can’t even park in the garage. It sits outside. Sad life for me. 😢😢
Haha! That’s some bullshit! Get that door lifted and put your suv in there!!
@@FixerMerlinare you in San Antonio by any chance?
Thank you so much! I thought my sander was broken and now i have repaired it
Hey man really nice video, I have almost the same situation, I have high roof van , and I only need about 7 inches higher to make it fit, my ceiling is pretty tight I might have 10”, I’ve seen a vertical door opener, believe is called jack shaft , installed on the side , do u think that might work? Scary project
Thanks! You can do it! The jacks shaft openers are superior but way more money. If I needed to replace my opener I would have gotten a jack shaft but I just reused my old one
what a weak design - same thing on Ridgid and Ryobi, that brake fails after a short time and needs to be replaced🤦🏻♂️ nowhere to buy that in the Home Depot, and now Milwaukee😱 Dewalt simply better constructed and will last much longer, belts available
I got a replacement at Milwaukee service store but including my time it was cheaper to buy a new sander. I’ve had a corded dewalt that’s been taking heavy abuse for 10+ years but the cordless one is so convenient it’s too bad they aren’t built better
@@FixerMerlin i agree, having the same brake problem now but with Ridgid. Found the part in the internet, it's cheap, but delivery is 7x price of the part itself. Thinking would it be good to pay 1/4 price of a new Dewalt sander for this part for Rigid or just it's better to buy a new Dewalt. I sanded my deck with Ridgid and that's seems maximum it can do with 1 brake...too fragile imo, thanks for your video though!
