Im a diamond back user. Love mine but I know it has issues. An they aren't dealbreakers for me at least. I don't have nearly as much stuff on my cover as I could cause ideally the tow hooks are legit the best feature. What I like about the Renegade - the locking mechanism is neat but don't like that I have to open the bed to access it. (minor complaint) - Easy snap on for some accessory's is nice vs more permanent fixtures on the Diamond Back. Some of theirs aren't as streamlined. - The easy take off of the cover is nice. The Diamond back can be a bear but I rarely take it off cause I always have stuff in the bed or I can work around the inability to easily take DB apart. Good to see theres others in the market.

I admit and agree that your cover is visually more appealing than the diamond back however your lead time if 6 months is a joke! Unless your smelting the aluminum your self?? Also you offer no extra's other than tie downs and racks. Your pricing is no better either, yall need to get it together!!

I can literally order a DB cover right now and have it within a week. I can order a renegade cover right now and won’t have it for six months. If you are going to bring a product to market, one of the first things to get in order is manufacturing and distribution. If renegade is too ignorant to figure that out, what else are they lacking as a company? On top of that, DB offers free shipping, renegade is $500+ I’m not sure who these people are trying to convince, but you can’t take much business from a company that has been providing the same product for decades with a solid reputation like DB without having your ducks in a row. Even if your ducks are in a row, it will take years to gain a substantial part of the market share on a product like this. On another note, get a spokesperson that actually knows what he’s talking about. The points made here are trying to diminish DB’s product with “tack welds” and “external welds”. Those are not tack welds and they are perfectly sufficient for the application here. The only advantage to the renegade cover is nothing is protruding from the surface and the tie down method is much cleaner.

Looks like a great product but I’m not waiting 6 months. Odds are they don’t need us as consumers if they are selling to military and law enforcement. That’s really the issue here I’m sure.

The wait time is a no go for me.

So frustrating… I bought the cover and here I am. Six months later, with no cover and after keep asking for an update, they said if I still want the cover I should wait for 3 months more.

At the end of the day, I think the diamondback is just a much beefier, better looking bed cover. If we’re being honest, aesthetics is part of it and I just think the renegade looks pretty basic for the price.

Ordered this as soon as I bought my truck and I was so excited for this product that I was willing to wait the 25 weeks that they told me it would take to get it. I’m now at over 39 weeks and I finally just canceled my order. Im very disappointed as I have had my truck bed open for this long with no protection while patiently waiting for what I felt was one of the best products I’ve seen on the market for truck beds. I really hope they can get their manufacturing process figured out.

They both are premium products. I went with the Diamondback on my Ram mainly because of price and turnaround time. I don't need full bed access too often so the DiamondBack works well for my needs.
