They both are premium products. I went with the Diamondback on my Ram mainly because of price and turnaround time. I don't need full bed access too often so the DiamondBack works well for my needs.

Lmao how does Renegade Covers not know the difference between and interrupted weld, and a tack weld. I'd rather not buy from a company who either trash talks their competition to make themselves look good, or is just purely arrogant, and has no idea what they're talking about. Every fault he points out on the diamondback is really just him nit picking a non-issue to cover up an bigger issue on the renegade. Lets start with where does the water go once it enters the slots for the hooks?

OK, so you added extra rubber seals on the edge of the underside of the cover and it appears to have greatly improved the leaks, great, so exactly why can't the company just redesign the the rubber seal so that the customer that just paid $3000 for the product doesn't have to do it? It's not rocket science to figure this out just use a better rubber seal and put out a quality product

I think this bed cover is way superior to diamondback, but the lead time, shipping cost, and then having to pay someone where I live to install it is a bit much. I would be willing to drive from Texas to Utah even with the lead time, but having to pay an extra $195 for a rod linkage to make it to where I dont have to go to each side to umlock the cover is a bit much. If you would include that rod in the premium cover then I would be willing to spend $3,000 on your bed cover and drive 14 and half hours to your shop!! A little give would grant you more gain in my opion, but not my business to grow into something bigger. Oh, whatever happened with that guy Rick, did he ever get his seal kit or money back from you guys?

Same. Im willing to drive from Texas to Utah, but if it leaks like one videos I watched were a bottle of water made it leak, then 3grand is way to much. Have the issues been fixed and how is the customer service today 12-19-23?

I'm on the fence about getting your cover it's a large investment $3,000 I've seen some reviews that seemed to indicate you guys may have customer service issues and I've seen that the product itself has some issues wondering if you guys have resolved any of these issues also if not wondering if you guys would be interested in any type of investment maybe bring the price down shorten the lead time etc

two questions. I notice a piece of rubber stripping in the L-channel nearest the Tailgate...what is the purpose for that? Additionally...those L-channels would seemingly catch a lot of water...where does that drain to? I don't see an obvious drainage point for those. Does it just sit there and have to dry out?

Awesome tonneau cover!… far more versatile than the Diamondback. Dig Ford trucks, but I would however like to see an installation video on a 3rd gen Tacoma.

I’ve had the Renegade cover for couple years and wish I bought the Diamond back cover. The cover is a pain to install (looks like they quickly scrapped some pictures and put it in a word document). setting the alignment was a pain and it gets out of alignment frequently. The gearing to lock and unlock from one side rarely works. It constantly gets jammed and skips the gears and you end up walking over to the other side and unlatching, defeating the purpose of it. The worst of all, it’s extremely heavy and does not have the struts to assist. Also, diamond back can be disassembled in peace’s by one person, the renegade is so heavy that you need 2-3 people to remove. They don’t have ATV ramps either, had to buy diamond back ramps. Save yourself money and frustration, buy the diamond back. And yea this guy is from renegade and just promoting the cover not a good review.

I’d love one. But that less time kills me. I need a cover sooner than that. Maybe I’ll get one once the lead time is around 30 days or less. Really like this one too!

While I was researching your tonneau cover for my new truck I came across this video. I heard the person in this video mention that your tonneau cover has rubber hinges. I immediately had the following questions: 1: Does your company have any literature/videos that provide a close-up detailed look at your cover's hinge design? 2: Does your company have instructions/videos that detail the replacement method for the rubber hinges? 3: How long should a customer expect a rubber hinge to last (in real world time/usage)? 4: What are a customer's options for replacing failed rubber hinges (should they fail) in the future? I ask these questions since I am considering your product (even with an order lead time of 25 weeks). Your product has some great features, but I need to know all product details before I spend almost $3,000 on your tonneau cover/accessories.
