yeah, i Had a clubsport Fanatec base and now i´m back in Simracing with Moza R12, the DD Moza is better but not much better, using Iracing as comparinson.

Awesome comparison. Now it would be interesting to take the baseline or track specific iracing setup and just tweak bias,arb and diff. And see what would happen then.

Your opinions on the Mustang are interesting to me. I agree with the sounds being better and the fact it can tackle kerbs very well. However, I find it slower than the Merc and generally blockier feeling than most other GT3's. In fact, I found I am on average a full second slower in the Mustang than with other GT3's pushing them equally. I can bring the Mustang to a higher pace, but I have to try that much harder. All my testing was done using stock HDF setups around Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen.

I was doing laps with the Corvette for a few days and then an update came through 6/10 and I think it made it faster but I am probably not good enough to know for sure.

I like the comparisons to other tracks, I kinda like Navarra so will have to get the similar circuits

The Vette sounds horrible in car, definitely needs an update. The mustang is my pick out of the two

I decided to get the Mustang. I have the Ferrari 296 which is MR and I can use it in the ferrari challenge and GT3 class. I also have porsche cup which is RR and has a similar performance as the GT3 cars. To complete the set I decided to get a Mustang for the traditional FR experience, with the horse in the front and traction in the rear.

The mustang at Bathurst is a blast. New favorite car/track combo atm.

I just use craigs because its feee with prime subscription xD What would be interesting too see is how the optimized iracing setups that they ship for some cars compete against the shops.

The Vet with the fixed setup at Le Mans is completely out of gear with no draft halfway down the any stretch.

I don't buy Sachsenring, I learned from Ledenon. You pay full price, it's rarely used in officials, and when nobody drives there, and 2 seasons later it gets free content. I know better ways to waste my money. I drive Sachenring when it's getting free

The Vette sounds so bad from the cockpit. It really reminds me of some of the earlier Gran Turismo "Hoover Vacuum" engine sounds.

Interesting.. for me the mustang is even more unstable than the porsche lol. I tested it on the nordschleife and it had gigantic lift-off oversteer. I normally don't have a problem keeping rear engined cars on track but this was impossible. Even in some other corners where it wasn't lift-off oversteer

Love it. I'm always on the edge about which setup shops I pick because there's no way to "try" setups without buying it and I cannot justify buying multiple setups as I live in a much poorer country than the US. Thanks for helping me decide on what to go with moving forward.

This could almost be a weekly video when the new season starts up. I would still like to hear the opinion on HYMO and also include Ryco Performance. Looks like P1Dok was liked the most amongst you all.

the corvette drives like a ferrari thats cos it is a ferrari 488 skinned as a vet, chev took a 488 and reverse engineered it to obtain a mid mount platform to use for the then new C8

I feel like the mustang is going to be weird with viisbility in VR since you can't change FOV but you can change driver height wish we could get rid of the sunstrip they have give us more visibility

Where would Hymo set ups have fitted in? Looking at going to tracktitan who do iracing and ACC set ups and use Hymo set ups instead of vrs.

Everybody is calling it "Shashenring" when it´s more like "Zaacksenring"

It’s also worth mentioning that the TCR’s have had a tire update too, they now feel like they have tires made of rubber rather than plastic! Really worth trying if you’re into fwd goodness.

if its not a globally popular track its not surprising not many would buy during week 13? Even in regular racing it might need iracing to push it in official series to ‘encourage’ people to buy it and that might start some word of mouth/popularity.

[Sashenring] lol It's [zaksenring] Can't say the Stang is very stable. The rear wants to slide soooo much, must be ready to catch it. But a fun car anyway, no regrets buying it.

I'm a big fan of Navarra and the new STANG. Sounds great and suits my driving style! Really covered everything including the sound of the new cars which is big for someone as obnoxious and shallow as me lol

Interesting that you ranked Coach Dave at the top despite the stability concerns, then the very next one you were worried about instability if you have to alter your line in traffic. Not saying you're wrong, since it's obviously completely opinion, but my (3.7k) experience with Coach Dave's setups have been that they are just way too optimistic. They seem to be built on the assumption that you'll run a perfect race with great car control and minimal improvising, but the moment you have to do anything except hotlap they become a death trap for me. Side note: was the iRacing setup just literal baseline? One thing to note is that the baseline has a weirdly high nose in the Porsche. Even the medium downforce sprint setup at least has the nose down where everyone else would.

I thought I'd leave a pinned comment with my final lap times here (All times on <fixed> set up unless specified): Road Atlanta: Ford: 1:18.945 Corvette: 1:19.388 Lambo: 1:18.667 Bathurst: Ford: 2:04.600 Corvette: 2:04.604 Ferrari: 2:03.836 (probably disregard this though since it has a turbo and hence a big advantage at altitude) Long Beach Ford: 1:19.571 Corvette: 1:19.660 Lambo: 1:19.121 I also did some laps on the HYMO baseline set they released and was able to get 2-6 tenths off these times depending on track. P.S I'm very very sorry for my horrible pronunciation of Sachsenring hahaha
