Black and white Ultimate mod will get you more polished creature in the base game. It works quite well i really enjoy the mod. Easy to intsall copy paste to the main game folder. I got back to the game and with a little outside changes it works much better.

I've open OneNote to write everything that I wish next BW game should work on. I can't do shit in terms of game dev (for now) but I will try to learn UE5 for the sake of learning game dev.

I loved B&W and B&W2. I would be so happy if someone made a copy cat game but take it to extremes. Like proper base game and then a DLC every now and then with multiplayer support. I think than city building stuff from B&W2 and more OP crap from B&W. Anyone wanna create a game studio? :D

B&W 3 should be expanded and polished ideas from B&W1 with army from B&W2 without stupid UI on new engine that could make bigger scale with better graphic... that's it... nothing more...

I wonder if the Source and the gauntlets were supposed to have some connection with the P5 VR glove? I know the original base game was going to have a lot of integration with that thing, to the extent that there's a mini game which (if I remember correctly) is unplayable because it depends on the P5 glove's haptic feedback.

I LOVED this game, it had its flaws of course, but overall I had a lot of great times playing Black and white 2. The only part I wasn't a fan of, was having to physically assault your creature to teach them not to do things. Always made me feel like a jerk, especially if playing a "good" God.

Seeing the ending of this game was a childhood dream of me. I doubt I would've been able to make it work, but thank you for showing me what it would've been like.

oh man this video made me want to play again until I thought about it long enough for nostalgia to wear off. Game was janky as heck and was a ton of fun, still better than some games coming out now IMO. Oddly, this mostly reminded me that Citizen Kane exists. That game was cool.

I've liked what I've seen and am interested in The Movies review, especially since I greatly enjoy sims games. Subscribed for more such videos. Also, the quality here is on par with much bigger channels; well done and I hope you keep at it.

...To be honest, I think I'd replay all his games, if they were redone in current engines, using current tech, to see if he could actually provide his view, but without the restraints he had at the time. And I know I'd definitely set my VR stuff back up if there was a Black and White VR that was properly optimized.

Man you don't even mention the different types of creatures you can choose and their unique animations, you don't talk about how drastically they change in appearence depending on your actions. You are more boring than black & white 2 and biased AF

I'm a big fan of the first B&W and I _just_ realized I never played B&W2. At the time, I wanted them to finish everything and get all the expansions done before touching it and then so many other things happened, I seem to have forgotten to ever play it. I should fix that.

I love black and white 2 and i wish it had a sandbox mode map but i would go back and play the missions for hours and hours and never do the missions exept once lol

Is there a way to play without discs?

I was one of those kids who was wowed by the magazine previews for Fable back in the day. I remember buying the game on release and being INCREDIBLY disappointed that it wasn't open world like Morrowind. I still liked the game enough to finish it, but my enjoyment was definitely soured by the deceptive marketing. Good retrospective. I appreciated the context of the game's development, and I'm glad that you didn't give it a pass for the mediocre combat. It's not a bad game, but I think that it's mostly held together by its style and charm.

As a Lionhead enjoyer as a kid, this was a really good watch. You've earned a sub - great research and entertaining to boot. Well done!

This entire series is so fantastic. Really impressed with the research overall and the care put into making these. Not sure how much you control this, but this video sounds a little quiet. Would be nice if it was louder at max volume on mobile. Cheers and looking forward to more!

I use the hero save to get more and more and more silver keys from one spot, but my original Lost Chapters did scratched and now I don't even have my regular Xbox anymore. The anniversary edition does not have hero save. They completely changed the save system so that you can't do that

You can be pure mage with mana pots. Really fun playthrough, especially with the runic mage tattoos u get from using will.

I still play black and white also the redux mod is amazing people should defo give it a go can change difficulty and play skirmish and so much more

having not played black and white 1 and being fairly young when it came out I didn't really have any pre conceived expectations but it still disappointed me I had a lot of fun with it and loved it while I was playing, but it was a soul crushing moment when I finished the campaign and realized that was it no skirmish no multiplayer no nothing it felt like the campaign was a long tutorial for the skirmish mode that didn't exist this game gave me a very unique feeling of heartbreak that I don't think anything else ever has

City building and strategy is having a little revival with Manor Lords and Total War Warhammer being popular right now. I would love to see something like Black and White again. But its been so long so I might just replay 2 instead.

Since you can import your Creature, i brought my literal one man army of a creature, who i had trained so gods damned much, that even against end game creatures, he did nearing 200 damage a hit, he could essentially damn near One Tap the enemy creature, and break down walls and gates in mere seconds, i didn't even have to worry about keeping him healed because he was so absurdly powerful that his health was through the roof. At the start of each new map in the base game, i would just sent him in, and then not care, i instead focused on building my town's walls and such, only to recall that i sent in my creature, check the enemy's city, only to find it in ruins, in where i send in my "army" to capture their capital. Man, nostalgia...i still cry over the fact that we never got a B&W3, life's not fair.

seeing this makes me so sad that the will never be a black and white 3 and the is not even any spiritual successes to pick up the torch. black and white was my fav game as a child

Seen a few god games show up here and there in the indie scene but nothing quite hitting the itch i want and need yet might give this a go tho the side quests to put it off for me. Peter to me seems less like a liar to me but more of a overly excited guy who just says all the stuff he wants or planned to put in the game before realizim came in and stuff must be cut.

Would love a new black and white so badly. The mechanics are so unique
