Arrowhead and artifact hunting PA, VA, GA, NC, MD, and anywhere in between 🤘🏻
Bottle digging, flint knapping, making a dugout canoe, and recreating prehistoric Native American bows and tools might be some other things you might see on my channel (And anything else of that sort)
I usually stay around Central Pennsylvania walking the fields and creeks near me.
Happy hunting! 🏹

PENNSYLVANIA PALEO! Arrowhead Hunting (2024)
Discovering this 12,000+ year old artifact was not something I was expecting on this hunt! We found other woodland tools on a different part of that field, which could mean the paleo site is seperate from the woodland so the flakes do not overlap. Time will tell!! I hope to get back on that site soon!

Nice work especially with only a hammerstone. I would recommend using antler if you have access to it. Subscribed and looking forward for more cheers from sweden!
Thanks! This point type used almost entirely percussion flaking techniques. I do have an antler pressure flaker or two lying around and I use then often on my more brittle quartz points that require pressure flaking. Thanks for the sub! Got some good stuff coming out soon if youre into selfbows I have a build video coming along with some ancient finds here or there.

@@marcelduckfeather9859 quartz point all the way out there?! Im not too familiar with the lithics in that region it I would be willing to bet it might be some kind of calcedony or agate. Either way both will fracture with those conchoidal marks on the edges. Look down the cross section and it should have a diamond shape from being worked on both faces. If you have reddit post on r/arrowheads for confirmation. Ill probably see your post!
I'm 67, I've wanted to find an arrowhead since I was 10. Need to get out there and look. Thanks for the tips.
Glad I could help! There are millions and millions out there. I just found a knife a few minutes ago and that was in a less artifact dense part of my area!
@@eastcoastlithics I live on Cape Cod, we have tons of water here. My neighbor has found a lot of arrowheads, as others around here have. @@TheWildWayPa got it! I removed your replies for you as well
The world is only around 6000 yrs old. The only thing you need to do next, is to accept the LORD JESUS CHRIST as your savior. John 3:16 Context 13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
@@a1971-d6d I apreciate the time you took to bring me to Christ. However, I have already found the Lord. I believe the Bible is up to one’s interpretation of God’s word. Have a good one!

Dude, your videos are always so entertaining and well-shot/well-edited and they get better and better each time you release a new video. It's really cool too that you get your little bro involved. You guys make a great team. That piece with the fluting nipple is sooooo similar to that one I just found a couple videos back. Also broken off at the top like yours. Aside from material, they could almost be twins, wow! Killer find and killer video!
@@meandmyshadow6269 lemme go check that vid out again. I believe I remember the point you’re talking about. Be back in a jiffy 😂 Hopefully Philly can pull a smoker next time we’re out.
@@eastcoastlithics It's in my video "Immediate Smoker!" and starts near the end at about the 11 minute mark. Yours looks a little more like a fluting nipple than mine but the similarities are definitely there
@ ha, I went waaaay too far back to find it. I do remember that point vividly now! I think it’s entirely likely that is a broken fluting nipple from what I saw when you zoomed in on the video. Considering the tip is broken could they have messed up trying to flute it once before? The tips would often break in the fluting process. The flaking looks on par for paleo also. Definitelyone to take to your buddy to maybe discuss in another artifact yap video.
@@eastcoastlithics Thanks for taking time to look at it and give me your feedback, sir! I think it absolutely does need to be seen by my friends and discussed in an Artifact Yap video!

Stop ! Now ask yourself where people making arrow heads 16,000 years ago , when it's proven over and over that the earth is only 6000 years old, believe in the Bible my friend !
@@huckfin1100 Christ is king! But carbon dating says otherwise about the Earth’s age. God operates on a different time frame than us mortals experience. Not everything in the Bible should be taken literally in this instance.
@@eastcoastlithicsthe biblical timeline is true. Carbon dating isn't all that accurate and reliable the further we go back. The flood changed the ratio of c14 to c12. God's word is the truth. Take a look into how they actually carbon date specimens and how other dating methods work, the assumptions that must be made, the dates they've gotten wrong. The evolution timeline is easy to pick apart and that's where I'd begin if I were to try to open my mind to the possibility that the earth's timeline is thousands of years rather than millions. Science proves God's hand and fingerprints are on everything. I don't want to change your mind because I said so, I want you to just keep it open to other possibilities. You have an awesome channel and I enjoy watching your new finds!
