I'm really disappointed at how easy this boss is. Was hoping for something truly nasty but it has 1 damaging card in Ballistic Seeds. I mean it used its ultimate an absurd amount of times this match and it just doesn't matter at all. Your deck is ok but hardly min-maxed. Even at the hardest difficulty this thing isn't very intimidating and I was really looking forward to this release as well.

Good video but the face cam really isn't needed. This isn't a reaction style game so it's really just in the way imo. Not throwing shade just think it's unnecessary.

The game against leia she should have 3 damage on her from tarkin instead of 2. Tarkin is buffed by veers and the snow trooper doesn't die it has 6 health and only took 3 from leia (3 health+2xp+1 from veers). So one more damage to base + should still have it on board for another 5 attack unit. Unless leia spends tarkin town meaning she wouldn't have it for veers later. Same with when tarkin attacked into base that game that is 3 not 2. That is 2 damage missed on base which is lethal to your opponent because you had 10 on board and the base should have been at 15 for exact 25 lethal. Good games guys.

Honestly, after the second pack open I might have picked IG-88 to hope getting ECL. I am hoping IG is better in draft because the less removal being likely. Got lucky with the tarkin pull.

Hello, present CT here: realizing a bunch of mistakes as I'm rewatching the video! At 17:54 I should have triggered Bleed on my Ash Spirit. (I do fix this later.) 18:44 -- should have placed a Scarlet Seed instead of Red Rains token. 20:46 -- should have had 2 Ballistic Seed triggers. 21:48 -- missed another Ballistic trigger 22:04 -- ...aaaaand another. Which would have killed my Chimera Charmer... 23:08 -- I basically pretend that Ballistic doesn't exist this entire round, but eventually catch it 27:27 -- missed another Ballistic... I'll update with more as I find them 😅

Yeah I was interested in this game because of Brandon Sanderson, but did have a bad taste in my mouth because of the monetization. Sweet that they listened to feedback and scaled it back.

I like the changes but also i think the pass model of the game was fun because gives to the users a goal to reach the proccess of geting all the minis like a collectible game, however i still want to play the game, i been watching a lot of videos about the game, and now this is a chance of get a copy of the game and try by my self :D

I played moonbreaker during beta and really loved the painting, but unfortunately the way the season pass was it didn't seem I would get the awesome metallic paints. I've gotta get back into Ashes. Was involved in a league and dropped off after some serious life stuff got in the way.

I think the big problem is that its too early to tell. A lot of games start of with friendly Micro-transaction business practices. "We're trying to do it a good way guy's!" And that lures you in. Then when they get a high enough player base or the bills start coming due they start tweaking things in the other direction. I'm not saying that this game will do that. These dev's might very well be committed to a fair business practice...but at the same time, if the game is designed in a way that micro-transactions are unnecessary, why are they there in the first place? Why not just release a game? If they are building a store to sell additional units in the future odd's are they can't keep a business model in which everything can be unlocked inn a few hours of gameplay... Because then the store itself becomes unnecessary. I really hope this game does well, and I hope that their business practices stay fair and non predatory... But the only way to find out is to wait and see. History suggests that sometime in the future the balance of things will start shifting, As it has time and time again in games that are built like this.

UPDATE: They have since removed the Cargo Run contracts, you can play that mode unlimited.
