Im free to play and spend at most $60ish throughout 2 year of md life. I have all the Witchcrafter Royal except 3x UR confusion. These 3 are impossible to get and i NEED 3 ugh....the grind is real. The trick is to save ur UR craft up to around 2250cp. I would say its almost guarantee but.... then agian i've seen a streamer lose 2400cp and no royal rare. In my experience my most spent was 1400cp and didnt get nothing made me sick to my stomach. That was at least 6 month of grinding as free to play 😂

Instead of spamming move and attack for more hits, I find it's easier to wait until your character starts the ranged attack animation and then just click the square behind them. Your character will shorten the attack animation, move back and then immediately start attacking again. Same result but less intensive

Yeah this was useless....

One big one for ranged enemies is that you can stand on top of them to drink pots, they don't seem to move around you if they are purely ranged like the cobras in Hopeforest

If you are adverse to using a fear potion, you can just let the aggressive enemy start combat and then end it with Immunity, allowing you to initiate the first fight at the range you want

Do never loot chests. Income is gated by your highest money making skill(early on it's chef and fish, combat always make coin) however in chapter 3/4 there are imho superior and more usefull money makers. For knowledge there are skills that are better knowledge gain, the idea for minmaxing leveling is to train high knowledge skills and spend knowledge and passive xp on lower knowledge ones. For instance, do not put knowledge in combat.

I gotta disagree with most of this tbh. I love the game and am very immersed. It's early access and really well done. Curious to see what combat becomes. I'm excited for more to release and am loving the whole game

yeah the hit system seems similar to classic rs like back in 2000's where u hit the enemy 3 times before you were allowed to flee and because there was no run system u were basicly f...ed if u fought a wizard but the fishing makes semi sense because the shark fishing spot is in the same spot as big net spot or something

1. this game would feel much better without the weird instancing system separating places 2. I thought we would have three classes, not just 3 types of damage. 3. This game's combat looks like I'm playing an oversimplified turn-based ARPG. 4. My short time on it, It feels like RSC, heart, but archaic basic interface and input. A future perhaps, but not a draw at the start.

I agree with your points but not with your delivery of those points. Consider writing a simple script for your videos (these can be bullet points, or full on scripts. Whatever you're comfortable with) to help organize your thoughts. Sometimes you come off into a ramble.

I think it should not be viewed as a "MMORPG", but more like a "Idle RPG" with an online world. I consider it mainly like a 2nd screen "chill out" and "zone out" game whilst watching television, with the potential of having more MMO feature later on. The "clunkiness" is - imho - on purpose, they obviously position this game as a very chill/idle RPG.

Yeah I don't get why the Gowers made Runescape, sold Runescape and then decided they wanted to make another Runescape... I could understand if it was like a remake of Classic or an older version, but we have RS3 and OSRS so idk about that. This game just seems to be targeted at the high score grinders who go for the highest levels within the least amount of time. Prolly why they released early access and so many people will buy the membership so they can figure out the most optimal grinds before full release lol.

Large progression ? No, it's literally copy and paste the same stuff after lvl 50 you're making the same stuff. You are also fighting the same 12 mobs till lvl 500.

Ironically, competing for mobs, even if it's a negative, is one of the only immersive things the game has lol. Great video, subscribed. I wish the devs see this video, you should make a Reddit post.

Finally, someone who gets it. Tenpai being the best archetype. It feels great being able to punch people directly in the face, no repercussions.

I know its not fully accurate but it does feel significantly more likely to get a royal when you bulk craft by 10s specifically but maybe I'm just delusional with my red-eyes royal hunting for the past 2 years as a f2p
