I think that photo is Elvis (with eyeliner) BUT at the start of a blink. The blink is why it looks so wonky. Just read George Klein's book (one of them) and he says HE'S giving ELVIS that record at Audubon. His radio station had received a copy and Elvis hadn't gotten HIS delivery yet.

I wish I would've bought rhis at the time.

Yesterday a lady came into my office and said “Hello…I’m Jamie” and I immediately said “and I’m John” Having been spending the last six weeks catching up on all the videos…it was reflex and my brain almost exploded….I paused like my hard drive had glitched. She just looked at me as if to say “oh that poor man”

Another great video guys. Trevor wrote several great books on Elvis for FTD and he was a great friend to me and my family. Sadly he passed away in January this year. Always great to see his books on sale at Graceland. He got a big kick out of that. Keep up the great job you do guys and hope to see you soon.

You want to take those CDs out of those PVC plastic wallets or insert the discs into rice paper sleeves, otherwise they will be unplayable eventually. I helped with Trevor’s follow up book. Sadly, he passed away not so long ago.

Whoa what's the story of the EAP Society discovering the Meridian, Mississippi concertm?

This is a fantastic set. Unfortunately its not correct when you say this set contains all known live recordings from the 50s. In the meantime MRS also released the 'newly discovered' November 22nd 1956 recordings from Toledo. But I'm sure you're aware of that. TCB ⚡

I do enjoy the Memphis Record cd also and play it at least once every month, same with the vinyl.

Just so cool, I ordered the Legacy edition last week. I bought it first used, but can't get to it. So for $10 a brand new one. Will play it very soon, and enjoy it all over (again, with opening, booklet etc).So it feels to me it just came out🐱. 🎧

Wow, I have fully been enjoying this box set, this review is obviously for Elvis over the top fans / for a casual Elvis fan like myself - I find all CD's a great listen.

Great release, but not compete anymore due to the find of Toledo Ohio 1956. And I have still the original acetate of Uncle Penn, not gonna share that one. 😊

Jamie, While on this subject, A friend of mine got ahold of a separate tracks of “Burning Love”, not sure how exactly yet, but he has all the separate components of each instrument and he made his own “remix” of the song and I kid you not, it is simply amazing what he was able to do with the song.

Watched this video again, and I find it kinda kool to notice, Elvis’ choice of material is all pretty much rocking all thru these early RCA sessions. Every track, sans, “I’m Counting On You”, is all Rock/Blues based. Just awesome. 😎

I`m a little late but heard this one today :) One thing thats always bugs me is when FTD fadeout almost every outtake they release :( Heard that Jamie probably meant that the fadeout are on the original sessions tapes? I must admit that I find it hard to believe and that it is the label that does this during the mixing process? Anyway good show that ive just started enjoying :)

I have listened to the audio book twice. It’s so heartbreaking the things Lisa went through.

Great book but and very creatively put together it only focuses on a couple of significant events on Lisa’s life. There is no mention of Scientology and her dramatic exit, her mother marrying macro garibaldi and her complex relation with her brother Navarone. If you didn’t know any better you wouldn’t even know she had one. Not exactly a memoir.No mention about her filing for bankruptcy and the impact it had in her due to people mishandling EPE including her mother. Barely anything on her 10 years with Michael Lockwood or any details about the twins. I feel that either Lisa never finished it or Riley had decided to omit a lot of it. What was in the book was amazing but more needs to be discussed about what wasn’t in the book

I never saw Elvis live but seeing a live performance of ‘Just Pretend’ that we never saw before from unreleased performances of That’s The Way It is made me a fan of that song. Great episode!!!!! Louis Pappas
