We just went to Crater Lake last month and we rode the boat shuttle to Wizard island. Didnt see the Old Man floating anywhere. And didnt felt spooky at all but again I was with a group of people. We even swam a little by the shore. Only spooky things I noticed was that there were so many hungry squirrels around while at the shore trying to steal out snacks! Also found some big crawfish but saw no fish. We had the best time there.

One of the people who saw a sasquatch was either a naturalist or a biologist who worked for the NPS. The brothers who had an encounter were rangers. Another ranger had an encounter and as of the early 2000’s he had posted a notice asking for people who had sasquatch sightings to contact him. Apparently that encounter never left his mind.

Daming went missing not far from a logging job I was working from. I remember thinking how could he not hear our yarder whistle? My log truck had straight stack pipes so it was annoyingly loud as I ran the jake coming off the hill. I wondered how if he was just lost that he wouldn’t hear us and head towards our obvious safety. I assumed something bad happened like a medical issue???? I hope he wasn’t victimized. I’ve often wondered about him and where he is out there.

The signage and maps on a lot of trails are shameful. We went on a sorta-loop trail that was all up hill, and by the time we got to a fork/sign we were tired and our feet hurt. The trail forked out in 4 different directions but the map only showed 3, it was impossible to tell which map turn was which trail turn because they weren't at the correct angles and weren't in the correct shapes. My feet hurt too bad to walk several unnecessary miles and then have to turn around. The GPS wasn't right either. It was infuriating. Plus I was mad just on principle and no one seemed to get why a map showing 3 trails is a problem when there are 4 trails in real life Anyway we have tons of trails like that here but without maps. You walk up perpendicularly to a trail and it has like 4 signs in the same direction that each say a trail name. No arrows no distance no nothing. They're like PAVED and you still need a map or gps if you don't want to walk 40 miles back to your car. I don't understand it, it would cost so much less to make normal signs than to rescue or recover people

The founder of the Dalles is the one who murdered my 5th great grandfather the Walla Walla chief Peopeomoxmox in 1855 after he signed the treaty. They made souvenirs out of his body parts. You might haunt the location or town of the murderer and not the battlefield if someone had done this to you. Just a thought. 😊

Bend is now Bent, Oregon. There is no such thing as closure. that's just a word they use to make you believe it has been, and it's all better. The tactic's Officers use is to minimize and dismiss everyone until they feel like doing something about it. Cherry picking. They fail us and these victims every time. they have been for decades. Hundreds of thousands of missing and dead and all they can come up with is, she probably ran away.. deplorable. despicable. They haven't suffered, because if it was one of theirs then they would stop at nothing to find and solve it. America, land of the free, free to the power of people in uniform.

I grew up on the Oregon High Desert in Klamath County back in the 70’s-80’s and we all remember Antelope very well thanks to the freaky CIA cult they had there that brought in tons of young college educated liberals that quickly got jobs in Oregon schools and other government positions to bring things to where they are today, just horrible. Always remember to avoid salad bars when an election is near, lol.

I've hiked and foraged for years by myself. Female, 70s now so unfortunately not so much anymore. I like hiking with big dogs and of course a loaded weapon. Unfortunately, guns are not as permissible in California as they are in Oregon. Most foragers I know trail with loaded weapons. In the last 2 years we've lost 2 60s something yo women mushroom hunting in our area. One was found under a log, exposure? The other has never been found, suspect she fell into an old mine shaft? We don't know. They found her schroom bag full of mushrooms and her truck... The first women was from Washington with her family! They were all rescued separately, even the dog. SAR looked for her for 2 weeks. Really sad.

As is pointed out in the video, they eliminated that possibility. He wasn’t in the area at the time, and he wasn’t known to shoot his victims, although he did sometimes use a gun to intimidate and force victims to go with him and do as he ordered. He preferred to draw out his murders and shooting someone in the head was not his M.O.. Besides, if Bundy was responsible for half of the murders he gets considered for, he’d have been killing constantly, and we know he was too busy pretending to be just an ordinary guy. Unfortunately, as much as small town folks are always saying “this just isn’t the kind of place where those things happen”, there are actually plenty of neighborhood psychos around to make up for the horror and misery the notorious S.K.s can’t get around to causing. It likely enough to have been someone she knew.

Last year I bought a ranch near Cave Junction trashed by druggies. I camped there for a month to clean up,and several druggies drove by and stopped to take pictures of my campsite in the main structure. They came on the property at 3:30 am. My Anatolian Shepard let me know and I went out there with night vision and armed with a AR. They had small red lights and all four were armed but no night vision. I yelled out to them to leave or they're all about to die. They hid behind trees at first, they didn't think I had night vision and could see them. So I dumped several rounds into a berm below some trees to warn them, and then they ran. There are groups of these tweakers who hunt people. I know about her story and she is from near me. If these druggies are this desperate to go after ANYONE they see who is new or alone, vulnerable at all. Police need to conduct sting operations. And everyone needs to be extra aware and ARMED to the teeth.
