Hello, thank you for showing this. I am not a shoe tree fan. I believe they are a eyesore on the surrounding beauty of the area. This is just my opinion, and I realize that some like these shoe trees. It is ok to disagree with me. Looking forward to your next video!
Luckily they are not so prevalent that they're everywhere. This one was actually the first one I've ever seen. But every odd tradition has a story and I love to dig into those 😀
@@InvestigatingtheNW I believe that at least there was another shoe tree on the Cline Falls Highway on the east side of the road between Newcomb Road and Eagle Crest. It was there 4-5 years ago. I have not been in that vicinity since. You might want to check it out.
Have you ever seen a Shoe Tree before? If so, where?
I'm pretty sure the one near Mitchell is gone. There was a sign on it that read "pair tree".
