What a special few days in Sydney with The Fabric Store! 🌟
wearethefabricstore
I hope you enjoy joining us behind the scenes for The Fabric Store event, celebrating the opening of the Newtown Sydney Store. I've also included some of the live Q&A interview with Daisy and me. It was an amazing experience to reflect on my sewing journey so far, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share it. A huge thank you to The Fabric Store for inviting me and to all the incredible sewists who attended. Meeting so many creative individuals was truly inspiring!

We visited all the highly recommended fabric shops and were lucky enough to be there for the Finders Keepers Market weekend as well which is a design market featuring so many amazing artists and makers. มุมมอง 3.8K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
I hope that you find this sewing tutorial helpful of how to hack the neckline on the Wyn Dress to create a V neck. For reference, these measurements were used to adjust the size 10 pattern. However, you can easily customise them to suit your preferences... How to cut fabric straight ✂️
มุมมอง 24Kปีที่แล้ว
I hope that you find this tip helpful, whether you are a beginner sewer or have been sewing for a while. This is my favourite way to cut woven fabric, especially linens and other less stable fabrics that can shift around when cutting. In this step-by-step tutorial, I’ll walk you through this method, which is the best way to achieve a straight and precise edge on your fabric. I also use this met...

It is quite easy to get lost in this area because of the various Seoul Shopping Malls. However, you should be able to find your way after walking around...
Renting a sewing studio in Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 🗼
มุมมอง 12Kปีที่แล้ว
While we were in Tokyo, we had the chance to rent a sewing studio for an afternoon. We connected with Chie, a talented local designer who generously lets people rent her studio when she's not using it. It was such a cool experience to work in her space, overlooking the Tokyo skyline. After an inspiring day at Nippori Fabric Town I was so excited to finally put some of that fabric to use and cre...

hello I have done lots of different pockets in my life some were very difficult others relatively easy....the main goal here is not using overlock around pocket ...yours is ok but needs a parallel stitch to finalize it
french people sewing style wanted to be neat and clean...for me.. because im lazy i stick to serger hahaha...
Gorgeous video. Love what you made!❤
Nice. I too have this pleater machine. Iam from India
U changed my life
is it mandatory to sew above pleats
Thank you. I'm so touched i found this 👏😭😭
I'm so glad it was helpful! 🌸
Fantastic... perfectly flat
Omg! Not sure if you remember me but we did the Diploma of Fashion together in 2014! I just stumbled across this video as I'm planning on going to Japan next year and I was like wait, she looks familiar! Small world hehe. Great video and fabrics! Hope you're doing well x
Cheer~~~decoration on a garment created by gathering a section of the material into tight pleats and holding them together with parallel stitches in an ornamental pattern.😊
Is there any way you can make a tutorial of how to do this with a zipper installed? I have spent the last two days straight trying to figure it out but nothing I am doing it working and it is making me want to jump out a window
OMG I can't thank you enough for this I've been struggling for weeks trying to get this done and you're the best the absolute best thank you
Yeaaahhh! You can pull the thread on denim to give jeans that 1980's worn look! Opening doors like Aldous Huxley😮
Yes! This is really the only way to do it 🎀
This video is exactly what I was looking for except measurements being in millimeters and such.😢 old American here.
I followed along making the full sized soften tote so I didn’t add the pocket but it turned out SO beautiful I cried when I was finished! Thank you so much! 🩷
I've made this pattern in heavy linen and love it! I want to make a denim version but I'm afraid the thicker fabric won't work with the burrito method. Are there tips you can share, or your experience making your denim version? Does it actually pull through?
Did you release this loungewear pattern? I can’t find it on your website. This video was very soothing. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! It was a little hard to visualize and this video was so helpful in giving me a better idea!
Gorgeous, I wish we had these designs that I see you sew !
Great tutorial, thank you for putting it together! 🧡
natural beauty, bravo, no make-up, we see this rarely in this world. You are a strong woman^^
Please, I am trying so hard to figure this out. You said from the outer edge to go in 1.5 cm and I cannot figure that out in inches I thought it was 1.5 inches and not 1.5 cm is there anybody that can help me out here so that I can get this correctly, I am so absolutely frustrated
5/8"
Besides the fact that I’m so terrible at math and have to convert everything into USA inches this is the best video I’ve ever seen
How many inches below top edge do we place pocket?
اجمل فتاة طبيعية دون مكياج ارها في هذا العالم . شكرا لك لقد استمتعنا بهذه التجربة

This was the easiest simplest most refreshing tutorial I have ever seen. Good karma is coming to you ❤
Thank you. This was very helpful.
What kind of fabric are you using???
Thank you so much for the pattern and the excellent, clear step-by-step tutorial. I just completed it and am very happy with the result!

Yes, very helpful. I can't wait to try this! thank you for posting here on youtube.
So helpful. I’m trying to make the Riley Shirt pattern from The Fabric Store and the instructions (written) are so confusing.
Thank you for you and your mum, I’m a beginner and whenever I cut the fabric it’s not straight after I see your video I’m going to try your technique.🙏🙏
