After Samson was taken a prisoner it was the pillars that gave way after he prayed not the ropes. Ropes came apart when he was bound (under Delilah's instructions) while he was still a judge.
@@Lightman741 then why in the verse after does it say “God created man in HIS own image, in the image of God HE created him; male and female HE created them” genesis 1:27
@@michellea3185 Michelle, you show a poor understanding of Jewish religious texts. Who wrote the book of Genesis? When was it written? When was it compiled into its final form? What was the common understanding of the Israelite people regarding the nature of the god Yahweh and his relationship with the other gods of the pantheon? Did any of the authors of the Old Testament books have a concept of the Trinity? Do you know the difference between "elohim" and "yahweh"? Have you discussed the Trinity with any Jewish people to see what they think about the idea? Anyway, do you really think that "God" is a "he"? That is, male? An incorporeal, spaceless, timeless, "spirit" alien being, that is somehow of the masculine gender? And somehow, has a son. But no wife. So, a single parent. And also a ghost. It's a good piece of Sci-Fi writing but it's not reality...
@@urasam2 I have been teaching the alpha course in the uk and Canada for decades and I’m reciting what the best theologians who spend their lives studying it say. I'm so grateful for the Holy Spirit because He loves me!😊
