Ive been doing the Alpha course and it has become one of the most important profound experiences of my life. I look forward to attending the sessions at my church. I didn't plan for it to happen it just happened and suddenly im attending church and i am thankful everyday that its happened.
Nobody ever comments on these videos, which I find perplexing. There are so many fallacies in this one. For a start, quoting 2 Timothy 3:16 to prove that the Bible is inspired by God is circular reasoning. Secondly, when Paul wrote the letter to Timothy and referred to "all scripture" he was referring to the Hebrew BIble, the New Testament did not exist at that time. Thirdly, misquoting Psalm 2 is simply dishonest.
I didn't know about these until I started going to an Alpha program here in Australia. It's completely an utterly disingenuous. There are so many fallacies and apologetics it makes me sick to think that people actually buy into it but it specifically designed to prey on the vulnerable. I have actually been reading the bible daily and it helps push me further from christianity

I'm not really a fan of reading the Bible. Often times it gives me anxiety.
That happened with to me, too. Than I learned of the sovereignty of god. That cleared my mind, so when I continued reading I felt peace.
Fear of god is often the first step. It´s talked about in many bible verses.
