Zenonesque seems more experimental than darkpsy. It also has very unique dubby bassline similiar to psytek.

So melodic forest seems more rooted in goa (it sounds like very twisted one) and normal forest is more like organic darkpsy.

I like it more. Minimalistic. Normal twilight is too chaotic.

Harsher sound than goa. More like psychedelic hard trance. More distortion. Goa is clean.

I think new school is much, much cleaner as most artists abandoned analog synthesizers of classic goa. New school also has more progressive trance and psytrance elements.

actually, goa and nitzhonot can not be more different. the sound, the atmosphere, the uplifting melodies, the lack of psychedelic, the high bpm - all of those can not be in goa trance. and the deal breaker - goa characterized by the the layers of independent melodies that together create build-up harmony.

i think Full-on Can Be Divided into more sub-genres like: Power Full-On (like Bliss warriors) or Melodic Full On (like Vibe Tribe Melodrama). the generic morning full on will sound like astrix artcore.

would you put also artists like eat static, martin art and total eclipse on this genre ?

hahahaha wow , you know ... i also have started making psytrance now ,before.. i failed to understand the meaning behind it ,...but as i explored synthesis and the fundamentals of the basslines [that it resonates with the human body] i fell instantly in love with Psy. i didnt really know the differences in genres...but your videos cleared my basic concepts about the varieties of psytrance music . i fit in the HI-tech , Psycore category along with a lot of ambient chillout breakdowns. i have never played my music live . but i wish to . i live in mumbai , india and this year i visited goa after 13 years! it was like i was there for the first time. i hope i get to play my set live one day! on stage! i use every DAW, not one. ~~ boom shiva~~

Excuse me. Psycore is not truly connected with Hi-Tech (fast bpm music). Psycore is born from Russia where they didn't really know how to make Goatrance melodies without them becoming cheesy. So they took instead emphasis on the bassline and cool sound effects. It is a shame to see this style / together with Hi-Tech even though they both had their start in the RU. It was/is hard, deep, industrialist, organic, psychedelic and trippy within. Concret Psy is Psycore. Psycore is very much music from Terminator, CPC, Fungus Funk, Kindzadza, Parasense, etc. And good labels to show this is Acidance from Hellas and Deja Vu Records from Russia. ....
