Great fish mate!
I use those Marukyu ISOME softbait worms in large size and shimano Soare jig heads to catch them in rivers etc. works amazing and you hardly need to re bait.
They'll think there's an Asian restaurant. 😂 You're an imaginative b.s artist, just like me. 😂
😂🤙
Good tip with the bread , caught mullet during legal then beach netting NT & a good feed
First cast got a mullet with his method, this blokes onto it👌🏽
Nice 1, can we do that off south east qld beaches? Is there a size limit? Gold Coast
I believe the diamond scale mullet and sea have 30cm size limits all other mullet no size limit but I'm not 100% on that.
Outstanding again young man champion for sharing
Hunter, Ive been chasing mullet my whole life. you make it look easy , Legend
Maybe move your esky closer. You must’ve walked 3 km back n forwards! 😂🤣 great vid
Nothing beats a fresh seafood laksa. I want to catch prawns now.
If you get busted using landing nets instead of legal prawning nets you'll go a row of $hithouses $$$$
We used to mix flour and water and put ripped up bits of cotton wool in there, then you can literally TIE the bait on the hook.
How would you rig one of those mullets for live bait?
Through the nose 👍
Practice makes perfect on those mullet.
Great video once again, what are the regulations for the mullet?
0-15cm live bait 30+ for eating, some mullet are fully protected it's one of the most complicated regulations.
yum yum,great vid guys👌
Just loved that thing you said about a hobo’s delight 😄😄😄😄😄😄
What sort of prawns - green prawns?
We call them school prawns they pretty much a green prawn 👍
When they are not interested they never put a new paid even though they know they don't have paid on Hhhhhhhh
Mate, one of your best cookups i reckon. My stomaxhs rumbling. Great tutorial for those curious about catching that mullet. Tight lines 🎣
It was so tasty, those prawns are so sweet. Thankyou mate 🤝👍
great episode Luke, you do make it look easy mate
Thankyou mate 🤝
another banger!
Im Indonesian, humble advise for your future asian taste exploring, try this Bamboe "SOTO" seasoning for them laksa with a bit squeze of lime instead of Rendang seasoning. Thank me later..
I will definitely try thankyou 🤝👍
That easy ah. See them often at the entrance at night. Sight to behold the very first time i seen all them lamps on in the water. Might have to take the young fella one night and give it a crack. Cheers!
It is very easy and great for kids, enjoy mate 👍
Thanks for the edit Dave another Sensational edit. Are you a professionally trained chef? You should tell Sharon she needs to put bread on The hook of she wants to catch something
No, my family all cook from a young age. Kitchen was a common hangout. 😂 Sharon needs a haircut then he be a Shannon...
Didn't know that he transgendered. 😂 Remember to keep it in the freezer. 😂
Yum. What a great place to live for fishing etc.
Top video thanks 🙏
Thankyou mate 🤝👍
You probably put sunscreen on Shannons line when he wasn't looking.
😂🤙
A Very Enjoyable Video 🎉🎉
Great vid Luke! The Mullet King! FYI the DPI rules for keeping mullet is they need to be alive if under 15cm, i.e. not to be kept frozen as per comment at @4:22..
Great info the mullet rules can be tricky, I need to refresh on the rules. Ik kept them live and took them out the reef for snapper, kings and sharks. video hopefully up by this Friday.
Maybe the 3 hook rig would help him catch more. Competing for the 3 baits they hook themselves. On Broughton I threw a mullet out while I was catching them as a live bait and got a 80cm flathead as well as my bait.
It can't hurt his odds lol. The big flathead will always be close by they not silly. Nice catch mate 🤙
Come on Shazza, don't let him beat ya
Dam , second comment. Go luke
Thanks bro 🤝🤙
What size (number) of your hook.
Size 8 short shank
The amount of bass we use to catch in storm water drains use to spin me out
i get little ones on rare occasions on bread to 😂
@ biggest I pulled out was 42cm it was close enough to my house so I ran it home and put in my fish tank I had for for a few years then when I moved I put it back where I caught it
Thanks for that tip
Glad it helped 🤝
Struggle is the key word when fishing the Hawkesbury 😂 its a very temperamental place to fish and definitely over fished by trawlers , beautiful spot, you have to berley, know where to fish at the right tide otherwise zero, the locals know though and the dont need fancy gear .
What bait do u use
bread 👍
Those captain Morgan’s work a treat while fishing, I’ve caught heaps using them 😋
Cracking video mate , the young fella did such a good job out there
What system are you in mate , looks like Hawkesbury river
Brisbane water right next to the Hawkesbury 👍
Mate can you please explain how you’re actually getting these crabs .. like what bait and type and size hook
Hi mate this system is the Brisbane water no traps allowed. I just put a chunk of mullet on the crabs will pick it up then you have to retrieve slowly to the surface a scoop them in the net. Hook size does not matter as you don't actually hook them they just hang on.
Hey brother , what a cracker fishing video , could you please share that location with me ? , I’d love to take my girlfriend there and get her on her first kingy, I’ve just started going on little fishing adventures with her and she loves it , she has only caught a few bream and whiting so far. So far we have gone to places like bobbin head and Berowra waters , but I’d love to take her rock fishing.. we both enjoy your channel so much , you and all your guests are always great to watch .
great video mate! how do you find out about these comps?
Thankyou 🤝, through FB fishing groups
