Love this content bro. I find myself sometimes having to backup and re-listen to something I just listened to because it didn't sink in. No offense, but I think your presentation comes off as a tad bit monotonous, as in there's not a lot of range in the tone or expression of your voice. If you were able to inject a little more emotion into the delivery, I think it would be much easier to follow, and pay attention to, and it would sink in better.. You'd have some s-tier content here for sure! Thanks for taking the time to make this for us!

I got a little confused on your time line when some of the curse of flesh afflicted titanforged fled - these became the dwarves, the gnomes and humans, but the trolls naturally evolved from the well of Eternity, much earlier in the time line, they didn't evolve from titan constructs. Edit: Also the lich king didn't release the plague at the wrath gate, it was the dreadlord Varimarthras through the forsaken apocathery society. Not to take away from the efforts of this video, it's well made!

Can you please make more longer videos like this please? I love Wow, history and I'm crazy about it. I have all kinds of books on it. I love listening to this, while I am pulling reports for work all day long. It makes the work day, less crappy throughout my day. You have a good story telling voice as well.

I played this game since it came out in Europe, back then never really cared that much about all the details, as I was a casual player. There weren't that many parents back then gaming in my guild and my first daughter was still little, but I remember her loving the priest when she died, cause then she looks like an angel 😆 god I had to die a lot for her, she had a blast lol 😂 Now my second daughter is a little gamer as well, then we introduced her to wow, that was quiet a little moving moment to me and hubby, we stood there and just smiled lol Anyways lol Now I'm older, still casual player but enjoy the whole story, it's so hard to have an overview without reading the all the books, this is much faster and just love how much effort you put in that. Thank you ❤

This is getting complicated and there's a lot of players going on but like it's still really good. The last 20 minutes. What fuck is happening? I don't mean anything against you. I've read most of the world of Warcraft books and played all of the games It's just everything that happens after the giant sword getting stabbed in azeroth is a very dense. Just attempting to keep track of all of the different dragon names is hard enough. Also what's medivh doing?

My favorite map and lore of all. I really wished this was the story Blizzard would have done instead of the medievh backstory and Gul'dan. Which I as a player enjoyed but non-player friends who saw it said they felt lost. I just think Arthus' fall from grace and plague lands would have been a better story anyone could follow. My issue with it all was like demons against demons who are all doing the same thing. I'm sure I have something confused, but that's what I have gotten from it. But everything else was great, feeding people zombie virus, outbreak of zombies a Prince who adopted a 'Kill Them All To prevent a spread' method lol yeah end it with Arthus stabbing his Dad. Maybe open it with The Lich King with the cycle complete and his Father Narrating...sad. Lol my kid saw that cinematic for WotLK and she asked whose voice is that and I said his father the King. Awe that's nice she said and then I said yes until he killed his own Father. Shame on him!! Lol. Yes, shame shame know your name. Thanks for putting this together.❤

Started playing WoW 2 weeks ago and it is great to finally have a connection to the names. Although I did not manage to grasp everything in one go, I do think that I have learned enough to get what is happening going forward from The War Within

anybody else like cry hearing these old stories from when they started playing in 2006?

While I do appreciate the detail and the overall presentation of the story, I think I would have preferred that the story of the games be explained in chronological order of release with supplemental lore that is relevant to plot of each game/expansion. It's nearly 30 minutes of backstory before we even get into the first Warcraft game, and by that point most of the intrigue of character motivations is already explained so the conflicts start the blur together. But yeah, that's subjective. This video is titled "The entire history" and not "A summary of" but I haven't found anyone else who's done a video this well so I stuck it out.

Sorry dude you got that wrong. Malfurion and Tyranda did not lead the resistance. It was Ravencrest with help from Illidan whom he gave control of his mages to, when he is killed it was Jarod Shadowsong (Maieve Shadowsongs brother) that leads the combined forces of the Kaldorei. Rhonin, Brox, Malfurion and Tyranda were a separate group often defying Ravencrests rules to seek out alternative ways to win. The book is one of my favorite reads. You should look into it.

Wow needs to go back to their more simplistic story telling where the player is a rounded up hero that just came out of training the chromatic dragonflight idea was so well done and to get the world involved in dealing with such threats instead of saying 'YOU ARE THE HERO' to literally everyone playing feels super lame wow before any expansions is still the true wow for me that was never outmatched in story and worldbuilding, everything just felt part of the bigger picture and you were just a pawn in a much larger game at play

Okay, so when I was still a super noob, I'm talking like 6 months before BC came out, I was leveling my first character, a human Warlock. Somehow I ended up in Desolace at level 30, I'm not sure what I was doing at that time. I remember just immediately falling in love with the zone, ALTHOUGH is scared the heck out of me. I remember this one girl in my guild who was a good friend (also a warlock and taught me a lot about the class/game) messaged me and asked why the heck I was in Desolace. I explained how I just kinda ended up there and liked the zone enough to explore, but I was getting my ass kicked. She ended up making the journey out there and spent some time grinding naga with me. One of my earliest WoW memories that really stands out. Love Desolace. Such a strange place.

Some nice lore here, I always liked Desolace. I'd really love to see a good tribe of centaur as an allied race. Probably will never happen, but I think a little Mongolian type city would be a really fun addition to Kalimdor
