Welcome back everyone! Join us on this fine evening as we tell the lengthy but dark history of the Silverpine Forest. There’s plenty of lore in this tale, from the summoning of the Worgen by Archmage Arugal all the way up to the Reclamation of Gilneas. We have also spent some time on setting the scene and diving into background lore, but if you’re a seasoned Loremaster, feel free to use the timestamps below to navigate through the tale. This is also the library’s first attempt at incorporating elements from 3D modelling software, it’s by no means perfect, but we are on the right track to making more entertaining tales for you all! Let us know what you think down in the comments! 📚📖
Does reclamation of gilneas also include gilnean lands in southern silverpine? They own ambermill, pyrewood, and shadowfang keep before the forsaken attacks, so is it alliance land again? Or did calia only give them back gilneas behind the wall? Cause I can see that pissing off Crowley and the other beyond wall gilneans.
During Classic, I loved SFK for some reason. I just loved the whole vibe of the place and the diversity.. but yes this is true. I loved that detail. So cool.
I was thinking about this village the other day but couldn't remember where it was. I even thought I had imagined it at some point lol, glad you mentioned it and reminded me lol
I just wanna mention it's super cool to see a lore channel fill this niche of Zone and Dungeon lore, I can't only think of PlatinumWoW who has done some dungeon lore, since Nobbel and Lost Archives have got the wider narrative stuff on lockdown, and with high quality, it's super awesome to see you guys(don't know if you're more than one person) doing high quality content on all the zones and dungeons, also with how calm you are it's just really nice second monitor content, since it's not too distracting, genuinely your content is perfect for someone like me with ADHD who actually needs 2 sources of stimulation at all times(except very few instances like playing Hades 1/2), Just wanted to give you some praise cause this is good work and keep it up! (Super bingeable as well which is great)
Thank you so much for the comment! I'm glad you enjoy the tales and appreciate the feedback. After putting hour after hour into each story, it's great to hear that others are appreciating the work that goes in 📚 Plenty more to come!
Even though I haven't played WoW since Battle for Azeroth, I still find these videos very interesting. I wish these were around during my RP-period as they are very informative and complete. Great job!
Love the lore of this game!! There is so much more than people think & channels like yours bring that to the masses!! Hope this brings some new players that have the respect & appreciation the game deserves.
Indeed! A feature where you could toggle between the classic and retail versions of zones and dungeons would be awesome! It wouldn't make sense for Cataclysm classic as it would confuse the story too much, but it today's retail WoW, the story is so progressed and complicated - I can't see a reason why this wouldn't be a good addition (in my opinion) 📚
Love the videos! I have been really enjoying watching these and am always blown away by all the vast lore and really appreciate all the work you put into these
Hey! Another awesome video! Always look forward to them! As i usualy make sidenotes i will make a small one here. The last clue to the whereabouts of the scythe of Elune lies in a mine in Duskwood (if i recall corectly this has been covered here on the chanel in the duskwood narrative),. making me wonder if it is still out there somewhere. Imagine what an artifact like that could potentialy do now with what has been discovered about magic since its dissapearance! Best wishes from Sweden!
Great to see you back in the library Mattias! Our reports tell us that the power of the Scythe was drained and used to help neutralize the wound in Azeroth caused by Sargeras, but those are only reports. Maybe it is still out there in the Great Dark Beyond, waiting to fall into the right persons hands 📚
@@TheKarazhanLibrary Aaah thank you very much! For some reason I thought it was from classic, and I was listening through everything and couldn't find it :D
I like the old Worgen tiny bit of lore. Were they were actually alien and not just old druid exiles. Argus opened up a portal and saw the Worgen fighting an enemy that was countless. In the lore back then it was called/described as the Emerald Flame wich kinda points to a the legion. So the old lore basically the Worgen were defending thier planet from a legion invasion and Argus saw how formidable they were and opened a portal to have some worgen fight against the scourge. Something along those lines.
I understand that Nobble is pronounced, Knob-ull, but Noble isn't. Noble - No-Bull, kinda like... 'Look at all those cows, but there's no bull' I'm not upset because hearing you say nobble over and over was a little funny to my immature self.
I miss the old awesome lore like this. Now we have majordomo the flying homo chuckling about his dragonflights eggs, basically their children being abducted and killed while gnomes love up to everyone and we all band together to make a new worldtree with all our woke love. Good on you for still going brother, but this part of the game has felt dead for a long time.

Arugal's Story is by far the best within Vanilla WoW.

Fun fact about Pyrewood Village, in old WoW the citizens would be human during the day but transformed at night.

Best part is you can go farm sfk as alliance and sell at the NPC at the forge when they're in their human form in the AM
SFK was always one of my favorites. That whole area was awesome

I miss Arugal and Old Shadowfang keep. I wish Retail WoW would bring back the Old Dungeon again with the old quests and what not.
