Uh yes! uh, this is literally just a "i took all of my videos and pictures and just bunched them all together into one long video" because i don't know how to edit on a computer efficiently. Also, while i was in portland... i didn't have the intentions of making of a video there so a LOT of the videos are just "meh" point and shoot style. Anyways, thanks for everyone and all the new friends I'v...

Just a video of me and my friend Nate taking some old tires off a Coleman 200 bike and putting them on a TM bike. Kinda of a rough video because it’s just scrapes and pictures of someone else filming us.

Sitting for Several Years “Ran when Parked” Will This Riding Mower Run and Mow?
มุมมอง 3686 หลายเดือนก่อน
I’ve been asked to get a mower going that has been sitting for 2 years. I was told it ran when it was parked and that was about it. Pretty easy to get it going and didn’t spend any money on it. Thanks for watching.

After 2 months of off and on working on this bike. Just decided to go back to stock minus the stage 2 (like the way I had it in Portland) and sure enough it runs fine now. Anyways, got the bike up and running. A little lean but still can cruise around.

This was in video I was going to make for a Predator 224 build. Realizing half way through building it having to literally grind and cut a lot out of the engine block for billet pieces to just fit with clearance, I’ve discarded the video. This was a outtake that was in that video.

That baby is clean.
thanks, i havent cleaned it since from portland. been just trying to drive it only on dry days and avoid puddles.
perfect on the farm a true home
absolutely! not the fastest thing. really dangerous for on the roads here. people drive 15 mph over the speed limit. itll be only used for on the pastures and dirt roads in between.
Still mowing with mine. Always starts first pull. 😊
i still have this one and mow around my camper with it. starts on the third pull most times. the seal on the needle for the float doesnt seal so it will leak fuel eventually. it has a shut off valve in the fuel line to prevent flooding the engine when the engine is turned off.
What tune did you do? Having trouble with mine. Pilot and main jet?
stock. didn't mess with jet sizes.
@@ElijahMiniBikes So the 40 pilot and 115 main? My bike refuses to run for some reason.
@@ElijahMiniBikes what did you do to your air fuel and idle?
stupid is as stupid does
That was fun! I see I made the last clip. 😁🥰 Looking forward to next year's event!
Oh yeah! Bring on the Z50s! im addicted to those little buggers now that i got one.
GREAT video!!
Thanks Matt! nice meeting you there.
Those Cushman scooters are cool, i wish I lived closer I would love to go there
Theyre amazingly comfortable for such a simple design. the best in comfort i might add. however, it does drive like a truck with heavy steering and terrible turning radius.
Good times!
Always!
A lot of work just to avoid spending the $25 for the correct new part.
welp, guess who saved $25?
The factory has a ADJUSTMENT for that, the manual will have that info
cool
Sir, I worked at the factory from 1972 till it was closed in 2015, it's BEST to get a parts manual & Owners Operators manual for the actual Model you are working on they are NOT all the same, different adjustments, different parts etc, even though they LOOK similar, that is the SMOOTH clutch model.
i dont care, lol
If that was me, the ⚡️ would jump to my ankle.
I remember doing that to my wheel horse lol l flipped mine 😅
Just got home from portland. how are you doing?
@@ElijahMiniBikes I just got home as well great time for sure hope to see ya next year!
I just blew my clutch about 2 hours ago,was a horrible vibration & nothing at all!
No thats 70s dude ,i just scrapped theold one i had for 15 years that someone had given me,i put three decks on thing !
whyd you scrap the mower? thats a sin to do.
I didn't feel like replacing everything on that old thing cuz bought everything was trash except the 11 horse engine that was on it it was taking up space where I wanted to mow
The older ones the deck bearing is made into the deck so you had to find another deck, was none to be found shit I robbed those old snappers that were like twice the length of the one I have now which I bought for $100
@@ericwright6672 you couldve sold it or literally just give it to someone else then. that's just a waste of a mower. if the mower part of the mower doesnt work, hell. its a great puller for moving or pushing stuff in the lawn.
I did sell it to the scrap yard! Lol
Fun for kids of all ages!
Old and Young! even the old guys are still kids by heart!
I can already hear it going 45mph! Beautiful little bike.
it does a solid 40 easily. Good all around cruiser for the park in Portland or around town. Love using this for around here. just makes sense to use something small and practical for just going to the mailbox distances.
Sweet
Hey Wes! Thanks. That's ol' rainbow vomit haha.
@@ElijahMiniBikes I think Red Riddler has a better ring to it
Where did you get the fuel tank?
Custom made by Brad Hill.
I took a 1991 put it on a Snapper deck...great mower
Love those 1990s quantums
Good engines. Been liking the vanguards a few times for minibike builds.
I have one like that I bought from Walmart in the 80s Didn’t get used much and sat for over fifteen years under a shed. I got it running about four years ago,ran great and the engine stop cable broke. I am having a problem finding the cable as the model number of the mower 2254?X92C does not show up in any parts searches. The steel cable is about 38” and the outer conduit is about 42” and it has a Z bend at the engine end and a T at the operator end.
Good work!
You got Taryl and the gang in the vid... Nice!
Yep! You can see me in his ‘22 and ‘23 Portland videos. Thanks for Watching!
same truck in a recent twix chocolate bar commercial with chicken egg or chicken came first
Very similar, I believe that would’ve been a late 78 with a ranger package. Mines a 79 with the lariat package.
That's a nice ford truck
That’s my baby!
Thank you for sharing your skills! Great job!
Hey thanks for just watching the video! That’s awesome. I’m seeing more people come around again with mowing season back in action.
If one of the gears selections is slipping more than the others then check the yoke slot, it's probably worn out in that area. It's the slot where the center drive inserts a guide and roller through. Over time it vibrates in its position and digs away the material in the yoke. Mine has a plate welded to the yoke path to correct the wear and the drive guide follows a straight path now that doesn't stray to far away and keeps the drive system with a tight pull to the drive platter.
Briggs & Stratton are best engines, worth fixing it...old lawnmowers are my fav...Nice Vid..!!!!
Personally, I love the Honda’s. But Briggs are awesome engines as well. Thanks for watching!
This is when American was built in America.
And a time where backaches were much more common than headaches.
The old Murray lawn mowers were a great built machine and many people would like to have one.
Eh, I don’t know about “they would like to have it again” part. I have a few newer mowers the same size that are way lighter and easier to push around or to be picked up into a bed of a truck. This is definitely a solid piece of machinery and it’s not going away any time soon. But if I’m going to be mowing up and down hills, I would like to have something that has self propelled.
Reminds me of my Taco 22 that got stolen....😢
Oh No! that's too bad. man, those things are a fortune now. just 200-300 for just a roller with bad paint. but if you truly love those minibikes, it may be worth it to get and rebuild one. Thanks for Watching!
I always wanted to take on of these, get rid of the mower deck, put on some tracks and a snow plow. Mini-half track!
I still have the one that my dad bought when I was 10 years old. Put me on it mowing the 8 acre yard. Been mowing on it ever since. I am 66 years old now. On engine #11 or #12, as I have lost count. Just did a complete rebuild with all parts disassembled, cleaned, worn parts replaced, good parts primed and painted, new bearings, seals, and hardware. Completely disassembled the differential, chain case, and every part on the mower. Was a week long project, but, now I have a new mower that will probably outlive me. I did repurpose an old air compressor tank and made a much larger fuel tank, mounted on the back two support rails and the thing got a brand new aftermarket seat. Complete rewire and new battery. It runs and cuts like the new machine that it is. It is a brand new 1968 Snapper Comet 30. I like the old ones, as they do not have all the idiot proofing safety switches and interlocks on them that are additional points of failure.
Where did you get the carb from?
Straight from the Nibbi website.
Where can I find torque converter and how much was it ?
GTC Torque Converters. we bought it without the front driver because we knew we were going to change it to a Tork-Zilla later on. i dont remember the price but it was around $100. plus another 80 for the Super Driver.
Where did you get that gas tank from, and where could i buy it?
Brad Hill, on FaceBook.
@@ElijahMiniBikes alrighty thanks
Wouldn’t you use the muffler more with it being further out rather than in? Meaning more restricted and less noise
I believe it’s the other way around. Further in is more restrictive and less noise. To be honest. I don’t think it makes a difference. It probably does, but not going to notice it on something as small as a 99cc engine.
Not too shabby for turf tires, 😂 better a tie rod than a rib!
We flatten the tires to barely anything in them at all afterwards. Made a big difference. I wonder if there’s a way to lock the diff on these hydro-matics
@@ElijahMiniBikes I think there is. I watched a mud mower video before that had a list of things you can do to them.
Better start ordering parts, make it a beast
On a budget. Moving out and saving money for rent! 😬
Great video!!! I've watched it a few times. But just realized now that my son and I are in it at 30:31 Good times!!
Awesome! Glad to see people still watching the video. We’re about to get started on a few minis for this years Portland. Man, it felt like yesterday we were just there.
I love my Trailmaster MB-200, but if this is what you like, that's all that matters. Having fun is the bottom line. When you get older, I think you'll prefer the full suspension bikes more. Lol
I still have mine but hardly ride it much anymore. Planning on putting a real tank on it. I Like the Trailmaster but I like the small wheeled minibikes better.
Good stuff!
Man I love you're videos, I've been out tearing around the fields today here in Missouri. How many bikes do you have? Looks like a lot. Have you checked out the Buscadero 140? I know its crossing the line between mini bike and motorcycle, but the constant problems with cvts locking up and no brakes unless you buy an expensive kit....GPS sucks, their "help" videos are a joke.
I don’t use GPS products for my stuff. No, I don’t know of anything for Buscadero 140. We are not near any events where we live. It takes usually 3 hours or more to get to a decent event that’s MiniBike related. We’ve been busy not freezing after this blizzard has gone by. This video was just the start of it and it has gotten worse. More ice than snow. Today was the last cold day and tomorrow will rise into the 50s it looks like. Woo hoo! I own just 2 running and driving bikes but I have an assortment of frames and engines. Just as the same here on the farm. Theres 4 in total running and driving but there’s about I believe 12 all together in frames and spare engines. Just collecting over time and good deals on FB marketplace or Craigslist. I appreciate that you watch my videos. Thanks for watching!
MB-200 Fire it up, Fire it up, fire it up.
The bike is looking good 👍🏼. Looks like fun for sure!
I like the larger fenders for looks and actually keeping me clean from water and mud. They’re not going to stay black forever. It’s just no point of painting them right now for them to get covered in mud or the bike gets dropped and damaged. Have fun with the way it is now.
@@ElijahMiniBikes Agreed! The fenders look good 👍🏼
I’m on my third one. First one was $400 from tractor supply about 10 years ago. Sold it to my sone for his son. Found a second one and sold it to my son. Had a hard time finding one but found like the last one on Amazon. Now with inflation $850 with free shipping. Yeah. Ok. Other Coleman bikes were $500 with $350 shipping. So there you have it. But yeah we love em. Good geometry. Comfortable. My last one I put on smaller softer rubber grips. The MX foot pegs. A air filter adapter with a 90 degree 2.5” silicone elbow the big red oversize air filter tucks it in nicely to the frame. Looks cool. Sounds a little deeper throatier. Peppier too. This last one was stripped. I had to buy the front and rear racks separately.
Did you swap the Juggernaut for a Tork zilla? If so, can you notice much difference?
Yes we did. Ombwarehouse didn’t have their torkzillas in stock a year ago when we mass order a bunch of things for future projects. So, instead we got juggernauts. Yes, there’s a difference. The engagement on the belt is really the big difference that stands out. Torkzillas have a much lower engagement where they’re great for cruising setups and slower speeds. Where Juggs are a higher engagement and require a lot more rpm’s to get the bike to move. That’s good for drag racing and straight line speed. Not the intent of this build.
@@ElijahMiniBikes Interesting. Both claim 2500 rpm engagement. Fatbuddycat compared the two side by side and thought the springs in the TZ were lighter but didn’t weigh the roller assemblies. The “bells” are also shaped slightly different which could affect shifting rates Great design though, way better than a Comet style 30. I’d like to see some more development and options for tuning them. I haven’t tried a Juggernaut with tall sprocket ratios, but I’d be interested in seeing how well it works for more of a cruising setup.
@@mlindsay527 I personally like the stock 30 series for my torque converter swaps. Cheaper lol, easy to work on.
Good looking bike! I like the gas tank, but don’t see them on Brad’s website.
It’s custom made. You have to ask for it. We too, had to ask and take pictures with dimensions of the bikes frame so the tank would fit flush.
Are those tires 20s or 21s? I have the Sunf 20 on the back of my BT200X was wondering if the 21 was too wide mayby? To clear the chain?
Those are 20s. 21 will clear on the ct200u-ex and the all the over Coleman 200s.
