This one is much older but still overall carries the same frame and belt route as any newer mower does. The mower still has problems, but now it can actually Run and Drive. The deck looked okay, the blades are shot from years service. Shaft bearings do feel a bit playful on the side to side movement. “ONE MORE SEASON!” Am I right? And the steering needs tightening up. Other than that, it’s a fully functioning mower.

Yep, tired stretched belt. Now it goes up hills no problem. Back to mowing dead grass!
The pulley on the hydrostatic unit might be worn out. If the belt isn’t engaging on the sides of the pulley it won’t pull well.
It pulls well now. But it is something to look forward to.
What about the haircut though! Its crazy how fast people give up on mowers. Some of the new stuff is junk but its usually repairable.
